Gliscor

<<OVERVIEW>>

QC: ?/?/?
GC: ?/?
  • Gliscor offers a niche that most other Pokémon in his tier can't: his hidden ability. Poison heal is a great ability for keeping Gliscor alive and you have a check to poison types or toxic stallers.
  • Along with this, his unique typing, diverse move set and his attack and defense stat, Gliscor is mostly seen as a wall thanks to moves like Roost, Substitute, or Stealth Rock, or a sweeper, do to the set up moves he has access to, like Swords Dance, Rock Polish, or even Tailwind.
  • And due to his typing, Electric and Ground moves don't affect him, making Gliscor a great counter to Tapu Koko, Alolan Marowak, and both forms of Thundurus. Plus, Gliscor has access to Poison Jab for dealing with fairies, Fire moves to deal with ice types, and Fighting moves to deal with Rock and Steel types.
  • However, Gliscor suffers from 4 move slot syndrome, because he has access to STAB moves like Acrobatics, or Earthquake, and other coverage moves such as the elemental fangs, Double Edge, Facade, Knock Off, Poison Jab, U-Turn and Stone Edge, all being great moves.
  • Also, Gliscor's Special Defense and HP stats aren't the greatest, leaving him susceptible to his greatest weakness: Ice type and Water types, making Pokémon like Weavile, Kyruem-B, Mamoswine, Celesteela, Tapu Fini, Ash-Greninja, and Megas that can dish out a lot of special damage, like Mega Slowbro and Mega Alakazam, big problems.

Moves
========

  • Swords Dance is your main way of turning Gliscor into a sweeper, since after that first turn of setup, the toxic orb will poison Gliscor, making him ready for combat on the next turn. Earthquake will be your main damage output, being the strongest move in this set and being able to deal with threats such as Arcanine, Raikou, Metagross, and Nidoking. Roost is used for when poison heal isn't enough to live or if your health is critical, or you could use it mess with the opponent, sine Roost will remove the flying type on Gliscor, making ice type moves only do two times damage instead of four. Finally, either Knock off or Facade. Facade does more damage than a plus two Knock off against someone holding an item, however, Gliscor can't do much of anything to Gengars with levitate, Mega Aerodactyl, Decidueye, or Fortress. But with Knock off, you trade extra damage for damage options against these Pokémon.
Set Details
========

  • 252 on attack and adamant nature allows Gliscor to OHKO a lot of Pokémon in his tier like Nidoking or even a physically defensive Toxapex, after the plus two off of swords dance. And with the 252 on speed, he can also out speed Pokémon like Togekiss, Krookodile, and Nidoking. The 4 on defense is there to give Gliscor a little extra bulk, so he could live through a few good physical hits. Toxic orb is a given with Gliscor, so he heals 1/8 of his health each turn, making him harder to kill with physical moves, like a plus two Mega Absol Sucker punch, or Mega Aerodactlys anything, letting Gliscor stay around longer and dealing more damage

Usage Tips
========
  • Gliscor has some bulk behind it, so switching it in to anything other than a water, ice, or really strong physical attack, isn't the worst idea, but it would be smarter to lead with him, to get the most out of Swords Dance and poison heal. At plus two, Gliscor is very terrifying, being able to one shot a lot of things with his earthquake and facade, so those are the moves you would want to use the most. The main problem with sending in Gliscor is that a lot of Pokémon can learn Ice Beam, his worst weakness. So your best bet would be to send out Gliscor, then switch to a Pokémon that resists ice types, faint that Pokémon, then put Gliscor back in and start sweeping. Another problem are Water types that are faster than Gliscor, like Tentacruel and Keldeo. Although Gliscor won't faint as quickly when hit with a water move instead of an ice one, it's still something to beware of. Entry hazards don't hurt Gliscor that badly, since he levitates over most of them and stealth rock does neutral damage, so you don't have to worry about that. Weather effects aren't bad either, since with poison heal, you'll heal most damage taken from hail, and sandstorm doesn't affect Gliscor. Due to the fact that Gliscor is already poisoned after the first turn, he isn't affected by any other status condition except confusion, which isn't hard to work around. Regarding Knock off vs. Facade, use facade if you want pure damage and don't care about levitating ghost types or skaramony, and have a way to deal with them, and use knock off to get rid of the opponent's item and hit everything, the problem is that it isn't the strongest, even when the opponent is holding an item. Earthquake is a given, just make sure to have a counter to Pokémon with levitate and flying types.

Hey man, I know this is a WIP, but you need to at least get the formatting right prior to posting. Take a look at any analysis for a guide, like Suicune for example.
