i think id be happy to take empoof as my late game cleared townie if it came down to that rn

my ideal shot list looking like: Haruno, former hope, unclesam, yeeti (insert idler)

harun0 - this blokes gone off the deep end. His posts suck, i wonder if Josh would agree with me now that its better to shoot haruno now rather then later, especially when hes flat out saying he wont care. has said in basically every post SHOOT ME SHOOT ME!!! which i really dont like. I feel like people who are saying 'gimme the gun / i dont care if im shot' are mafia trying to think from town perspective: as a townie you should very much care that you've been shot as the ideal position for you is to be townread extremely strongly by the majority of the game so that you can take it to the endgame where only 1 clean towny sans gunbearer is needed to win. obviously theres not as much pressure there, but I seriouslky think anyone who is saying they dont care about being shot sucks because ur letting ur fellow town down, and i dont think a proper townie would take that stamce

former hope - I largely agree with josh analysis on this one

Unclesam - that reads post should really speak for itself. If you havent read it please do! It is the single worst post in this game. Laughably bad reactions to people calling out that post as well. Think this is a safe shot

Yeti - yeti are you seriously trying to say unclesam is likely town based off the fact that YOU are not the gunbearer day1? You know theres a whole group of scum who made the descision as to where the gun went right? I also initiated argument with unclesam not the other way around: it was reactionary play. I dont see how either of these points are contributing to a town read. Just werid arguments that aren't realy adding up to me here, make me feel like this is a scum slot

idler - better to knock them out sooner rather then later in this format.

Also yeti seem to have been pressuring Empoof a lot around page 10 and making sure no one was being generally town read. Posts often being about meta or how town shouldn't play rather than advocating for a shot target.

this is some Hood Stuff

it in no way benefits town to have one guy coast through the game as a lock town to never be shot. imagine if we had agreed on that for hitmonleet who is now under serious scrutiny as possible mafia; he would've just skated by if people had agreed. it also completely removes pressure from that slot to contribute in a meaningful way. there are no consequences for not putting their reads out there because they're the person nobody should shoot. even if they are town, there's no reason to give them a free pass.

town need to be constantly reevaluating their reads and relationships after every flip, stagnating that process by having someone people will never shoot is not beneficial and could just plain be wrong.

idk how you can say i wasn't advocating for a shot target when i've had a detailed shot list every shot cycle lol. did you forget you've been on it as a top priority or something..?

also im not quite sure why you think there being 3/5 (known) scum in sam's first post of the game's shot pool is indicative of his alignment. look at his reasons for his reads, he has nothing to go off at that point in the game. whether he suggests teammates or not it has little consequence at that point in the game.

theres been this shift from people who have been saying sam is their top shot etc etc to slowly moving him to town reads. it makes me suspicious his teammates feel they got towncred for suspecting him but now don't ACTUALLY want him dead. especially since jalmont has expressed sam as a possible shot though i think that was earlier in his gunbearing time?

i suspect former hope and sam are not mafia together very strongly in light of this. reason being fh is the one sam's teammates want shot instead of him. if one flips mafia i would not shoot the other. if one flips town i find that much less alignment indicative.

Also, at least in my opinion, there are better shots at this time (Former, maybe Twin, in your position, Moody). They'd reveal more insight into players, you (probably) won't die off of them, and it gives more info in general.



Well, the main reason I townread Moody was more of a result of my reads, and with the current scumteam I was pondering, it wouldn't make much sense with how he had been playing (it would have made a scumteam with ~4-5 Idlers, which is a bit too many) and with the Pancake and King flips, I felt more confident in another Mafia member laying low, and with the general feel of his posts, it's a likely chance that he's scum, although I'm not entirely confident in it. I'm going to look over all of his posts and get a better picture of which Moody we have here.

I need to actually finish all my intended interaction analyses in order to really gain confidence, and i'm not giving the hours that takes every single day with all the stuff i have to juggle. From what i've done so far and from what i've seen since, Moody still isn't looking good at this point, and if he's town i want to see that Former/Sam flip that i know would come next from town!moody, their interactions will make things MUCH clearer post-flip. Though the more likely scenario in my mind is Moody as scum, and if that's the case i'll do what i've been doing this whole time: post-mortem interactions

I don't consider looking at the reactions to be too useful until after death, when we know what the alignment was and we can better see what it meant. I'm the kind of person who takes things slower like that, rather than just doing everything all at once, because i just don't have the hours required for that analysis all the time. And yes, it takes 2-3 hours to make each of those ISOs i've made, don't tell me it doesn't take that long

This quote from sam is just absolutely insane since the only time flyhn posted any type of decent activity was being a sk in dbz and tbh his activity in this game is a lot more shallow than it seems. Makes sam+flyhn a decent possibility
