Paperblade I don't think he *quite* claimed VT so pointlessly and early but he definitely did as he was getting lynched on a hair trigger and I don't read as much into that statement as you do. Like I get that you see that as an indicator but I just can't bring myself to feel the same way on the issue.

Hitmonleet's post is passable for now. Things are getting interesting.

see this is the problem is people who townread king or see past his usual unhelpful idiocy get called white knights or teammates.

you cant just BE TOWN and not scumread king and not think hes a good lynch, you have to be a white knight or his partner.

iunno Something about blazade gives me this "he's trying to act to his townmeta" vibe.

that wasnt what asek was saying. OVER AND OVER AND OVER people ask you to give REASONS for your reads and try and flesh them out. in his pokeguynxb phase flyhn had a LOT of problems with this as well and because he was like 14, also overreacted super defensively and refused to post bc he couldn't explain himself well. this is multiple games where people try and engage with you and seek deeper insight from you and your reaction is "im too stupid to have good reasons so i wont bother"

then you get mislynched because ppl on town who SHOULD know better decide your unhelpfulness makes you a good policy lynch since you're never going to have a net positive impact on town and will bog down the thread with these kinds of whiny woe is me im soo dumb posts that really, are just toxic to your own mentality. ullar is kind of right, you should find someone to talk to about this. because rather than try and flesh out your reasons you just bash yourself.

and i kind of get why you dont try because tough mafia bullies like twin and josh will tunnel on you rather than give you a chance to try and engage and explain and develop your reads and their reasons into something that wont get you lynched.

but you also make it extremely easy for mafia to sit back and say "kings scummy and never gonna be helpful lets lynch him!!" and then they have less pressure on every member of their team bc you are flailing instead of trying to engage.

its also unhelpful, and this is addressed to the other members of the game, when you do nothing but call anyone who tries to help noobtowns like king scum for it. king often doesnt try or gets in his own head and refuses to be helpful but when someone does try and steer the lynch away from what they see as a mislynch they get equally lambasted for it. when it should be fairly obvious king isn't scum. but no some big dick has to sit there spouting king's teammates are obviously revealing to defend him. more on this in a second.

sorry king, but lets be real, WHY WOULD HIS TEAMMATES DEFEND HIM.

king is not a slot you try to save. josh's logic on RESISTANCE for slots that are extremely easy mislynches onto people who cant defend themselves is just stupid.

if king didnt immediately shut down whenever he's pressed for more info or to elucidate his thoughts then maybe his slot would be one worth saving by his mafia team. unfortunately people try and flesh his thoughts out more and he just gets self-depreciating. his mafia team would leave him to flounder and his village team would try and help until it became a hazard to their own life to appear to be His Mafia Partner.

absolutely none of this stuff revolving around king is helpful or even sensible.

gonna step off my pedestal now but i want king to advance as a mafia player and not be afraid to TRY and explain his thoughts more. flyhn has made great strides in that regard and it got him hard townread in popcorn. i also want ppl to stop saying retarded crap like anyone who defends an obviously flailing person that has no value IN defending is his teammate!!!! because that limits productive discussion on why king is MAYBE NOT A GOOD LYNCH by stifling other town.

2 mislynches bc obvious retard/noob towns get tunneled pointlessly just smh.

i want to see both king and haruno play better as well and improve their games but i also want to see whoever is actually town here stop making blockheaded tunnels onto them.
 
idk the ppl who just sit there tunneling king until he cracks "one way or another" need to find something better to do. there are other ways of scumhunting than grilling easy bait who will probably "crack" and make themselves look scummy no matter what.

anyway also on page 14 is a hawkie vs ullar fight that feels way too reactionary from hawkie and ullar is just his usual spergy self. from an outside pov, ullar/hawkie are unlikely mafia partners off this.

i see it as tvt and dont think hawkie is likely mafia from this either. it just kinda carries on Too Long and nobody is trying to put a stop to it.
 
ullar/king/hawkie should have been really obviously all tvtvt, the ppl who were still in favor of anyone in this being scum when it just carried on are Bad

scum arent gonna get into dumb fights like this that just carry on. they are however gonna let the thread get clogged by a spergfest.

theres just no way you can come out of p14/15 and think ullar/king is tvs if you're really thinking about this.

i greatly dislike how asek wants to lynch between ullar and king as a result.

jalmont is the guy who eventually posts and votes walrein once the other 3 stop posting, prob in an effort to appear town by redirecting focus.

Like josh should almost always think yeti and I are partners in a town PoV if he's so sure on hitmonleet and yeti. I moved the vote from conf scum and am defending yeti openly. He's still wanting to town read me with shubaka caveat probably because he's worried I'm the bpv

I think I want to lynch among Blazade/Pancake today
Hitmonleet may flip scum but him flipping town seem equally as bad as the Haruno lynch since he's been made into the "obvious wagon" and nobody can really be held to account regarding his flip

Multiple people have called out shubaka / jalmont defending each other at this point (Knights certainly has been hamming it, and Yeti said something about it last page)

someone needs to spoonfeed me hitmonleet's scumminess; his posts haven't left too much of an impression on me, but I might've skimmed the super scumtells on accident rip
If your only reason is that he was "lurking eod" then the Jalmont-Shubaka Nonaggression Pact is a much better basis for a lynch. (yes its more of a defense pact but shhhh)
