Can confirm that lynches can change in the span of an hour, actually I've seen them change in the last 15 minutes more often than not

90% of the time this happens it fails though I'm pretty sure from personal experience. We were really bad at this on SF.

my statement about not discussing the targets of roles that are only effective if the mafia doesn't know who the target is still stands
it's not that the lynch can't change in a few hours or even 10 minutes. but most of the time when this happens it's because town is in a disorganized flurry and it usually ends in people making snap decisions when they could have had hours to think it over, which normally leads to a bad lynch. it also gives scum more power to flip the vote last-minute to save a buddy or save themselves.
