Noteworthy Mentions:
  • UB names: Poipole (UB Adhesive), Naganadel (Poipole evolved form), Stakataka (UB Assembly), Blacephalon (UB Burst)
  • Poipole -> Naganadel via levelup with Dragon Pulse, changing from pure Poison -> Poison/Dragon, a fast special attacker. (Kaphotics)
  • Plasma Fists - The user attacks with electrically charged fists. This move changes Normal-type moves to Electric-type moves. (Kaphotics)
  • Poipole is an in-game gift that arrives at Lv 40. (Kaphotics)

This is looking nice, but does Adhesive evolve into the yellow ninja like mon, is that a new mythical, or what?
we all knew adhesive would evolve tho
 
Seems like the little alien evolves into the wyvern like thing?

And some cool Electric ninja.

I wonder about the possibility of types. I hope they aren't predictable enough to make Adhesive's evo part Flying or part Dragon.
 
I am really excited for what's to come. I believe the yellow might be related to Necrozma, while Adhesive only evolves once.
 
So that puts an end to those "I doubt they'll reveal new Pokemon that close to release date" comments that have been floating around.

Also, Sticky is becoming one of my favourite Pokemon all-time.
 
Quick Question: Will this be limited to datamined stuff pertaining to the Pokemon themselves or will story stuff be put here too?

Even then, they did keep a few 'mons unrevealed in the game. It's possible these UBs may not even get official reveals.

Eh, mostly asking 'cus i would prefer to try to stay away from story spoilers... but i still wanna get a head start on theorycrafting with the new UBs. (and maybe listen to the awesome new tracks. Remixed Boss themes sound hype!)

Please, only datamine here. I don't care for knowing Pokémon beforehand, but story spoilers I don't like.

I think the yellow ninja is Necrozma without the Prism Armor.

Sure, but I keep dispelling those comments since they revealed Xurkitree just four days prior to release last year for SM, so I always found it silly that for some reason people decided they can't reveal Pokemon with 10+ (now 9) days to go.

This was being speculated because the colour for the Zubat line was for dark types in the Data File cover I posted a few days ago, but Remoraid and Octillery appear to be the same shade of blue as other water types..

Going to be clear about this now. Please don't post random things you find on 4chan with no other source obviously there's going to be a bunch of fake news popping out now so before posting anything new please PM me or an OI mod.

I am suggesting that the new yellow Pokemon is either a separate evolution of Adhesive (similar to probably Lycanroc), or is a totally new mythic/UB. It still has the blue eyes of both of Adhesive and its possible Evolution, but nothing really strongly suggests the Blinding one theme of Necrozma.
And btw this name feels so much like Lucifer, also known as the morning star before his fall.


Edit: is it just me, or the sprite between Lunazoma and Solgazoma (pun intended) looks like Supreme God Z from SRW or something from Yugioh?
 
Ah nevermind, ninja'd.

Where was that image that had Necrozma's body parts rearranged to form a dragon. The new sprite appears to confirm that now.

I'm going to assume there are no new Alolan formes based on the lack of sprites at this point. That sucks.

It's been pointed out by somebody on TV Tropes that Stakataka is probably the real name of Assembly.
