I'll work on a reads list tomorrow but the Champ wagon kind of skeeves me out for gut reasons? The way that her wagon was formed - initial RVS votes on her, then a couple more serious votes on her, and no unvotes/no real opposition to her wagon just makes me feel like this is a mislynch. Plus her reaction to the wagon seems more confused than anything really malicious.

Either way it's a wagon I can dive deep and look at so I'll probably do that tomorrow.
 
Texas Cloverleaf Since you're on:

1. Give me a general idea of how Jalmont plays? Do you think lynching a lurker on Day 1 is going to provide much value? Is this how he normally plays?

2. Link me to some of FH's games? Would like a general sense to see if he's capable of faking something like that, but at face value it's just so incredibly difficult to put yourself in that mindset if you're scum, because.. why would you ever think about that.
 
Echoing Texas a bit, yeah I tend to be good at making believable conspiracy theories/fake claims as scum....just as my town game I tend to be paranoid enough to create tonfoil conspiracies I sometimes believe so I would take that as NAI for my playstyle.

That said, there's still credence to that theory in the sheer timing of it

Every game i've played with him he pretty much lurks d1. gets involved a bit on d2. is often mislynched or nightkilled. usually town, but the last time i wagoned him we got something tangible and he did end up being scum. he's a valuable asset if town though. we most likely don't actually lynch a true lurker unless their lurking is aggressively scummy but at the very least we don't tunnel onto actives at the expense of lurker pressure

Right now I have a town read on AG because of the earlier exchange and Texas because their playstyle seems fairly consistent with their last few town games (not that I can recall a texas = scum game recently).

Scum, Toni honestly. It's not a ton to go off of, but like I mentioned, the timing of their reappearance after being called out seems so sudden and while there's a lot that could explain it, it's a tangible thing to press them on.
 
If I have time I'll check those out, Texas.

only scum games i've had on smogon were basic game (aka ez mode) and the one where i subbed in for someone with godfather asek and suicidal jalmont

then theres mafiascum which i somehow have only ever rolled scum
 
dude is playing super nervous at the moment and it's way too nervous to chalk up to "hey im new and don't know what i'm doing" i would point to someone like BLOODYRAIN as someone who is nervous. mxmts reads to me as "im nervous because i know i need to act a certain way not to attract attention and any attention i attract is bad"

i'm really not convinced that bluedoom is as town as everyone thinks he is but i guess i skimmed his posts? leet sounds scum but i always think he sounds scum so. koc had some particularly bad game spec after that whole p1 debacle but im willing to give him a pass on it given his excuse so yeah.

i don't have any particular opinion regarding champ but then again according to texas "we" aren't lynching him so i guess that works out great for me and my lack of opinion !

Xnad, you're not far off labeling me as a "I'll cooperate" player for the time being, i'm trying to make reads but it'll likely come out as something passive for a while, but meh
The Champ wagon seems kinda weak to me, but that's probably to be expected as of Day 1, we don't have any solid reads or night actions to base our reads off of
I'm not really liking any of these "reads" on users as they're virtually devoid of anything even worth thinking of (Bloody is scummy cuz he's rubbing me wrong?) or just further clearing Prophylaxis as others have been doing this whole thread. Also I'm not really liking the Bloody scum push as he's coming off more as cooperative town trying to help more than mafia (which would either try harder with their own pushes of be more idle-y and cooperative from my experience, but I digress). Not giving a scumread but just asking for better justification/clarifying if I missed something in these mounds and mounds of posts

I'm gonna sheep Earlio on this, and not because of the anti-scumread on me (in fact, I felt that was probably the strongest point there), just because the post he was responding too did feel kinda fluffy in terms of reads
Former Hope's crack theory was interesting, but assuming that they hadn't read through the any part of the thread beforehand I find a seven minute turn over time between being pinged and posting viable either way, I personally wouldn't have gone done this avenue of thinking myself though, so that's another town tell on Former Hope for me

I think that that speculation is a more solid point to go off of than most. That is some really suspicious timing, and huge props to you for making the connection.

Champ vote was horrible imo, the Champ wagon as a whole exploded way too quick for it to be town driven and just when traction was easing off because of Champ's good (relatively) reactions to the wagon you try give a little more push.

I honestly wouldn't put any weight whatsoever to anything OOG, since OOG things aren't supposed to influence in game things, so I don't read anyone involved for better or worse because of that.

Jalmont, what is the difference between BLOODYRAIN's nervousness and mxmts' nervousness? Newness and such don't really have any place in my way of reading people, and while BLOODYRAIN was pinging me on "being cooperative" like I said (although I saw them say they'll pick up after a while, gonna hold this to you), I don't really see mxmts post at all apart from earlier in the game and it didn't particularly ping me.

Texas and Prophylaxis are still Town, and I'd put Champ as a solid town read.

In seriousness tho, I don't think this is Scum!FH. It's more of a gut feeling, but he feels towny to me.

Gonna look at the champ wagoners individually once I have some time.

Because when Haruno isn’t talking they appear around d3 or d4 and just slow down town with their inevitable lynch followed by a “I told you so” if they’re town.
 
Townreading Aura Guardian; its weird and unlikely for mafia to unvote based on being unsure of Champ's play only to then vote Champ again based on some voter on the wagon providing more evidence in the case.

I don't see why Champ's play is that which comes from town but ok.

Some pretty bad reasoning for voting AG. What is bad about AG's vote on Champ? Also agree with Earlio's point of XX not actually trying to give some well thought out reads.
