1v1 Fall Seasonal​
Tournament Rules:
  • General tournament rules and regulations can be found here.
  • The banlist for this tournament is the same as the US/UM 1v1 ladder on the Smogon University server of Pokemon Showdown, and can be found here.
  • Best of five, double elimination.
  • If metagame changes occur during the middle of a round, they will take effect in the subsequent round.
  • Battles must take place on Pokemon Showdown!.
  • Replays are not required but I encourage posting them for the development of the metagame.
  • Do not make baseless activity posts; get in contact with your opponent and report missed times / scheduling issues only.
The deadline is Saturday, September 15 One week after the time of me posting this.

Drud vs. *Lancer Fr* I see lancer going deep into the tour if he is serious unless he's against someone like landon or another player of high caliber, and Even then it will be close.

Alore vs. *TheShadowClaw* Alore is really cool and I want Alore to win the whole tour but tsc is good too and has a high chance of a crit

*martha* vs. Cam Going to be an interesting bout but I feel Martha has more experience

neomon vs. *Elo Bandit* I will be slightly forever sad if I don't see an electric mouse. I will be forever happy if I see a Snubull.

*alive* vs. Bye1 Could go either way, But Bye1 hasn't proven themself to me yet. Alive probably keeping the win streak alive

*ggopw* vs. Bye2 If Bye2 was vs someone like Blazikin would probably have a chance, but ggopw is a strong player.

*Magma* vs. Bye3 *Insert fire pun here* woo lesgo Magma got this.

*Freddy Kyogre* vs. Bye4 Bye4 would have a better chance vs me, Freddy is a strong player. provided no hax and he keeps his composure, he should make it past the first few rounds easily

Personal Highlights​
Dazel vs. Grain2Sel I'm keeping this here provided Dazel doesn't decide the C-Team route and pick Pokemon with advantages, but if Dazel decides to and G2S doesn't change teams it can be an easy sweep. Could go either way.Provided Non CT route, G2S has an advantage but if Dazel builds smart he has this in the bag.

Kaori vs. *Chloe* Highlight match - This is a particularly interesting matchup with 2 auths who have played 1v1, but sparingly in tournaments only.Going with Chloe based on experience.

Akaxi vs.* dom * Think dom is taking this, but expecting pqs to come up with crazy mons to make it close. Both people are known not to use conventional standard sets, this is going to be a wild one.

Magma vs. Trace HEAT rematch here, and I'm honestly hyped for this.This is a sad matchup personally though, in really cool OMPL Fren vs Asia STRONG; I think both are equal in skill despite the precious result, though magma has slightly more experience in my opinion.the only real loser will be me (Double Elimination) because I'll feel bad at one of these people being beaten, but hoping for a good run on both winners and losers bracket for both. Can't predict it.

*Scraftionite* vs. ayedan - I feel Both these Players Have been coming off a good wave of momentum; Scraftionite beat dom with little building time while Ayedan laddered smartly and got #1 ELO in all cycles. Leaning towards Scraftionite for this only because he has always been more consistent

*UBERLandon21* vs. motogp Matchup I'm hyped for the most with 2 solid battlers. In my heart i can see motogp winning, but logically I'm not exactly sure how many people I would be willing to predict over Landon. Motogp does have a clear shot, DON'T USE PLAY ROUGH, 100% Acc moves can be GOOD!

In future rounds of this tournament, I'll have to do matchups in a series of posts or rely on badged users like yogi in order to tag everyone. This shouldn't affect the tournament in any way, it'll just end up looking weird, keep an eye out!

TGC United vs. Close- The GOAT will win this 3-0

Escoffier vs. Iron Crusher- The guy who gets decently far into every 1v1 ssnl somehow vs the only person that still calls me luc. Im going with IC here.

pasy_g vs. Hijasu- I picked pasy_g since he is overall amazing at mons being in many top tours like wcop while not a 1v1 player, I think takes the W here. Hijash kinda just fell off the face of the Earth.

SolarflareRo vs. DenisTheMenace- I have seen and used SolarFlareRo's teams and not to be rude but they were way too reliant on hitting or missing moves (hypnosis, focus blast, etc.) I know Denis from pokeaim's youtube comment section.

The Mushy Potato vs. Wanonymous1616- Yourim is a great ladderer and i see him going decently far this ssnl.
Kaif vs. Astamatitos- Not a fan of Kaif sorry dude.

Scraftionite vs. ayedan- Scraftionite is a great 1v1 player. Who is that ayedan kid lol.

jfehrman2005 vs. blondesasukeuchiha- p good match for great ladderers in BSU and James. This could be a highlight match for me.

Th3victinii vs. Huston- idrk u two.

UBERLandon21 vs. motogp- highlight match for me because Landon will 3-0 with 0 mercy.

Yung Dramps vs. ryyjyywyy- Legend has it that if u predict against ryy, we will purposely stall you 100 more turns than necessary.

Dazel vs. Grain2Sel- Dazel will win if he picks right.

GeneralGunderson vs. zugubu royale- GG will win with confidence and 0 stress.

Kaori vs. Chloe- We all know Chloe is the best 1v1 player alive. She just hasn't shown her true potential.

WPBeartic vs. Auge- idrk u too

RaJ.Shoot vs. Poison Adhesive- Me and Raj were best friends back in 2016 in Tournaments room, those were the days. Poison Adhesive is a cool guy and i chat with him more. Im picking Poison Adhesive.

Chickenpie2 vs. pazza- hot take

Drud vs. Lancer Fr- Lancer will win, great player.

Akaxi vs. dom- Highlight Match for me since dom hates pqs but pqs loves dom. Truely a love hate relationship.

Borrower vs. Joker 1v1- Who is Borrower. Also Joker is decent.

BlameTheBlax vs. Djokra

Alore vs. TheShadowClaw- My main man TSC will win this. Also, havent really seen Alore play 1v1.

martha vs. Cam- martha, gp leader, vs Cam, uh- monotype player. Martha will win because she is cool.

neomon vs. Elo Bandit- not to diss Elo but, he has lost his touch in 1v1 imo. Neomon is lowkey great at 1v1 and almost 3-0d me last ssnl but, we know how that went.

alive vs. Bye1- bye 1 will win because of sheer skill and greatness at this game.

ggopw vs. Bye2- ggopw just won last ssnl, nuff said.

Magma vs. Bye3- tough matchup here. Magma will win with hax on the 5th game.

Freddy Kyogre vs. Bye4- Bye4 will hax Freddy then Freddy will get salty and play bad.

Tom842 vs. Bye5- Tom is ok on ladder ig.

Escoffier vs. Iron Crusher- Its IC, what else would I predict

pasy_g vs. Hijasu- I belive in Hijasu even if pasy_g is good at mons, just cuz Experience

SolarflareRo vs. DenisTheMenace- Never seen anyone of em play but Solarflare is on my team for wcop so Solarflare.

The Mushy Potato vs. Wanonymous1616- If your name is Mushy Potato you get a free pass imo

Kaif vs. Astamatitos- Im always betting against kaif, unless he plays randoms. Then I always bet against Kaif so I can act shocked when he is going to win. (of a crit)

Scraftionite vs. ayedan- Its ayedan. That is why Scraftionite is winning cuz ayedan will become ayedan and fail hard like me

jfehrman2005 vs. blondesasukeuchiha- US East fight. 2 Players that are very good in James and BSU. Have to pick James tho because if I dont he will prob block me, or leak my teams for other stuff.

Th3victinii vs. Huston- I have seen Huston play and I know Th3victinii, and what I saw from Huston is better than me just going all out friendship.

UBERLandon21 vs. motogp- Sure its Moto vs Landon. I belive Landon to be better at 1v1 than moto and 1 of em was common enemy no.1 in Dusknoirs Discord during 1v1PL so Landon.

Yung Dramps vs. ryyjyywyy- ryyjyywyy is great and Yung Dramps I havnt seen playing fr in a time so ryy.

Dazel vs. Grain2Sel- Grain2Sel the good ladderer vs Carrylel of Decrypting Deoxys (no one will get that watch), and as dazel is actually good at 1v1 as well, Dazel. Intresting game

GeneralGunderson vs. zugubu royale- 1. Its me vs a Monotype guy. 2. Its Me. 3. I need to break my streak

Kaori vs. Chloe- Battle of GAuth. Choloe will take it as She will pull forward some superteam that send Kaori flying.
