[OVERVIEW]

Flareon might look good to use based on its excellent Attack and good Special Defense stats. However, its horrid Speed and shallow movepool make it hard to use. Furthermore, it has no defensive utility outside of Flash Fire due to its bad defensive typing, vulnerability to hazards, and inability to switch into unresisted attacks. Flareon is one of the few Fire-types in the tier, as well as one of the fewer physical Fire-types, which gives it a small niche; however, it struggles to be a good wallbreaker due to its low Speed stat and the recoil from Flare Blitz. It is outclassed by other wallbreakers like Combusken, Stoutland, and Dodrio due to their better Speed stats and movepools.

[SET]
name: Wallbreaker
move 1: Flare Blitz
move 2: Superpower
move 3: Return / Double-Edge
move 4: Quick Attack
item: Choice Band
ability: Flash Fire
nature: Adamant
evs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]

This set is ment for Flareon to become a dangerous wallbreaker. However, its poor Defense and Speed, weaknesses to common offensive types, and vulnerability to Stealth Rock limits its opportunities to switch in or fire off an attack. In addition, Rock-types like Omastar can easily come in on Flareon if it is not locked into Superpower. It is outclassed by other wallbreakers like Stoutland and Dodrio because of their better Speed and Stoutland's access to Scrappy and neutrality to Stealth Rock.

Flareon might look good to use based on its Attack and good Special Defense stat, however, its horrid Speed and shallow movepool makes it hard to use Flareon. While it is one of the few Fire-types in the tier, (also one of fewer physical fire-types, which is a slight niche.) Flareon struggles to be a good wallbreaker due to its low Speed stat. (bad phys bulk also means that it's really susceptible to priority and even resisted attacks.) It is outclassed by other wallbreakers like Stoutland and Dodrio due to their better Speed and movepool. (probably worth mentioning somewhere that it's killing itself by using main STAB, flare blitz.) (also also has like no defensive utility outside of flash fire + special bulk because bad defensive typing, vulnerability to hazards, can't really switch in on much, etc.)

[SET]
name: Wallbreaker
move 1: Flare Blitz
move 2: Superpower
move 3: Return / Double Edge
move 4: Quick Attack
item: Choice Band
ability: Flash Fire
nature: Adamant
evs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
This set is for Flareon to become a dangerous wallbreaker. However, it is hindered by its poor Speed and movepool as well as having a hard time against Rock-types like Omastar that can easily come in on Flareon if it is not locked into Superpower. It is outclassed by other wallbreakers like Stoutland and Dodrio due to having better Speed and abilities like Scrappy that allow it to hit Ghost-types and Early Bird that allows it to wake up early from Sleep respectively. (i mean, only scarf dodrio really appreciates having early bird bc it outpaces +1 lilli, and i assume you're comparing flareon to cb dodrio.) (probably worth mentioning that switch-in opportunities are p limited outside of like grass-types bc there are like 0 fires to take advantage of + sr weakness + recoil from fb and de, you get the idea.)

Flareon might look good to use based on its Attack and good Special Defense stat. However, its horrid Speed and shallow movepool make it hard to use Flareon. Furthermore, it has no defensive utility outside of Flash Fire due to its bad defensive typing, vulnerability to hazards, and cannot switch into most attacks unless Flareon resists it just say unresisted attacks. While Flareon is one of the few Fire-types in the tier, as well as one of the fewer physical Fire-types gives it a small niche this isn't a complete sentence, you say "while x" and then dont finish the thought until the next sentence. Flareon struggles to be a good wallbreaker due to its low Speed stat, and its STAB move Flare Blitz wearing it down its HP. It is outclassed by other wallbreakers like Stoutland and Dodrio due to their better Speed and movepool. as well as combusken as a physical fire type

This set is for Flareon to become a dangerous wallbreaker. However, it is hindered by its poor Speed, limited switch in opportunities that are only Grass-types, as there are no Fire-types for Flareon to take advantage of with its Flash Fire, weakness to Stealth Rock and having a hard time against Rock-types like Omastar that can easily come in on Flareon if it is not locked into Superpower. It is outclassed by other wallbreakers like Stoutland and Dodrio due to having better Speed and in Stoutland's case a better ability Scrappy that allow it to hit Ghost-types and not getting worn down with Stealth Rock.
