PU Stantler mini

got it -mz

[OVERVIEW]

There's no reason to use Stantler over other Normal-types, particularly Dodrio and Stoutland. Intimidate is nice, and it does have some decent coverage and priority options, but its lack of bulk, Speed or even decent power means it fails to carve a niche for itself in PU.

[SET]
name: All-out Attacker
move 1: Double-Edge
move 2: Sucker Punch
move 3: Jump Kick / Earthquake
move 4: Signal Beam / Energy Ball
item: Life Orb
ability: Intimidate
nature: Lonely / Hasty
evs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]

This set attempts to deal as much damage as possible and revenge kill weakened Pokemon with Sucker Punch, with Intimidate helping against physical attackers. Unfortunately, Stantler's lack of bulk, Speed or Swords Dance means it's completely outclassed by Stoutland, Dodrio, and Kangaskhan as an offensive Normal-type. Stantler is also fairly weak, as most of the damage it does comes from hitting foes super effectively with its coverage, with the exception of its decently powerful STAB Double-Edge. Finally, Stantler is worn down quite easily with the combination of Life Orb and Double-Edge recoil.

[OVERVIEW]
There's no reason to use Stantler over other Normal-types, particularly Dodrio or Stoutland. Intimidate is nice, I guess, but this thing really doesn't have the bulk to make use of it. (ik these are meant to express that the mon sucks, but could you at least do it in a more formal manner?) (you also don't at all touch on its admittedly alright coverage options + priority, which are a large part of its niche outside of intimidate, or explain in detail why these normal-types outclass it.)

[SET]
**This should be the best possible moveset for the Pokemon, even if the set is still not good.**
name: Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (All-Out Attacker)
move 1: Double-Edge
move 2: Sucker Punch
move 3: Jump Kick / Earthquake
move 4: Signal Beam / Energy Ball
item: Life Orb
ability: Intimidate
nature: Lonely / Hasty
evs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe

This set attempts to deal as much damage as possible and revenge kill weakened Pokemon with Sucker Punch, with Intimidate helping against physical attackers such as Dodrio. (i mean, it just bops you with supersonic skystrike, while cb still screws you. you don't really have to give an example here, just leave it at certain physical attackers.) Unfortunately, Stantler's lack of bulk, speed or Swords Dance means it's completely outclassed by Stoutland, Dodrio and Kangaskahn as an offensive Normal-type. (it's also not that powerful and relies almost completely on life orb + hitting things with coverage for most of its power outside of its decently powerful double-edge.)

Intimidate is nice, I guess can you write this as an analysis instead of weird personal commentary pls, and it does have some decent coverage and priority options, but its lack of bulk, speed or even decent power means it fails to carve a niche for itself in PU.
