NOC Matrix 14 Mafia (Town Wins!)

so, basically, because you didnt vote asek i literally could not lynch him if he were scum

the only way asek would be lynched is if he were town and let himself be lynched

so conditional on being lynched, asek always flips town on day 1

But he didn't so????

Still don't really see how it's my fault
the shift to inferno happened 5 minutes before deadline, asek was online at the time, if viper and i stayed on asek then ASEK WOULD HAVE VOTED INFERNO TO FORCE A NO LYNCH i'm actually getting tilted, nuxl tell her that she's wrong

So...you deciding somehow through some logic that asek would definitely tie the lynch as scum meant that asek had to flip town so you had no choice but to switch to inferno and somehow this is still my fault

Hm yeah, I don't buy it, nice try though. I think your imagination gets the best of you sometimes dude

Lol

anyway yeah ideally we just win here

Nuxl rn

anyway it really doesn't matter. asek had time to save himself by deadline if he really needed to do so(read: last minute self-pres swap)

i don't think you're actually this slow, so instead of feeling frustrated i instead feel hurt that you're choosing to troll me for no reason like this
I'm not slow nor am I trolling you, I just don't like how somehow things you do are the fault of others and not your own :P
why is my townblock fighting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nuxl sweetie I'm sorry to tell you this but sometimes parents fight but it doesn't mean we'll get a divorce I promise

Honestly my best guess is maybe he didn't even realize he could do that??? Somehow???

But like I said he actually did flip scum this game and chose not to do it so really just ask him after game ends lol, like he clearly had a reason and Hal is just projecting what he thinks scum asek should've done him

no, this one was absolutely your fault and it's frustrating me that you're clearly not thinking about this in the correct way

if i did not switch the vote:

if asek is scum, and therefore benefits from no-lynching rather than lynching himself, then he will self pres and tie the vote because he was online at the time
if asek is town, then it's possible that he will see that lynching himself is better for his win condition than no lynching

so, conditional on asek being lynched if i did not switch the vote, asek always flips town because scum-asek never gets lynched because asek was A) online B) close enough to the second place wagon (which was your fault, oddish) that he could have self preserved onto it

Given that I did switch the vote, asek had no reason to self preserve because he was no longer getting lynched

do you get it now?

Like if asek did flip town I'd probably be more understanding but he didn't and people are saying it's my fault that asek didn't act in way people expected him to so like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

only problem is this assumes asek decides not to swap his vote 5m before instead of, say, 30s before. ig he didn't need to do it at the time because deadline didn't hit yet and thus his slot wasn't in danger as long there was a window where he could swap his vote beforehand

lmk if i'm wrong though. i used it as a point in his favor d2 but i guess it never really mattered when the swap occurred int ehf rist place

he was online, that's why i quoted the damn post where i asked him if he was going to self preserve and he replied almost instantly that he was plyaing runescape
