[OVERVIEW]
  • Chandelure is a strong special attacker in the UU metagame
  • Its Fire / Ghost typing gives a niche over faster Ghost-types like Gengar
  • Can serve as a revenge killer or a lethal stallbreaker
  • Chandelure in tandem with Substitute and boosting through Calm Mind is capable of breaking Stall staples
  • Choice Scarf enables Chandelure to outspeed some faster foes such as Mega Manectric, Gengar, and Cobalion
  • Is also able to check Infernape lacking Stone Edge due to its typing
  • Held back by middling speed tier that leaves still out sped by fast threats like Mega Aerodactyl, Mega Beedrill, and Mega Sceptile even when using a Choice Scarf
  • Hydreigon's prominence in the tier damages Chandelure's ability to perform well and can't be circumvented through Substitute like Chandelure can against Doublade or Gengar
  • Struggles with the popularity of pursuit trapping and commonness of Mega Aerodactyl and Scarf Krookodile
  • Chandelure is prone to being chipped down between its Stealth Rock weakness, absorbing U-turns, and setting up Substitutes
[SET]
name: SubCM
move 1: Substitute
move 2: Calm Mind
move 3: Flamethrower
move 4: Shadow Ball
item: Leftovers
ability: Flame Body / Flash Fire
nature: Timid
evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

  • Substitute lets Chandelure evade Toxic from the likes of Blissey and other status users and proceed to set up on them
  • Fire Blast can be used over Flamethrower for more immediate power such as having a guaranteed OHKO on Mega Aggron at +1, but since Calm Mind Chandelure is most useful against bulkier teams that can't harm it without status this usually isn't worth the risk

Set Details
========
  • Leftovers increase Chandelure's longevity as it will be losing health faster with Substitute
  • Firium Z and Ghostium Z can improve non stall matchups and give it opportunities to catch Pokemon off guard.
  • Flame Body provides utility against faster teams, threatening to burn against Pursuit, U-turn, or Scizor's Bullet Punch
  • Flash Fire lets Chandelure pivot into Fire-type attacks without getting chipped down further and leaves more health for Substitutes

Usage Tips
========

  • Try to keep hazards off the field to keep Chandelure as healthy as possible
  • When forcing a switch, Substitute is the safest move, as it can evade Pursuit trapping, give Chandelure a free chance to fire a STAB move, or starting setting up Calm Mind.
  • Entry through a slow U-turn or Volt Switch is ideal so Chandelure isn't taking unnecessary damage or crippled by Toxic or Thunder Wave
  • Feel free to pivot into Pokemon that can't harm Chandelure much, such as Cobalion and Infernape lacking Stone Edge
  • Switching in with hazards up is risky, and can prevent Chandelure from performing well
  • Switching into status moves like Toxic or Thunder Wave recklessly severely cripples Chandelure and may make it deadweight
  • If Chandelure is running a Z-Move, it should be saved for when Chandelure can catch Pokemon that could normally switch in or revenge, such as Mega Aerodactyl or Krookodile

Team Options
========

  • Chandelure finds itself at home on bulky offense and balance teams that appreciate its ability to break bulkier team and gain from its defensive utility
  • With Chandelure so easily pressured by hazards, pokemon that can remove them such as Empoleon, Hydreigon, and Gligar are essential
  • Gligar, Scizor, and Hydreigon can all run U-turn and pivot Chandelure in safely
  • Volt Switch users such as Mega Manectric, Rotom-Mow, and Cobalion can pivot in Chandelure as well.
  • Pursuit trappers like Choice Scarf Krookodile, Choice Band Scizor, and Mega Aerodactyl can trap and weaken Pokemon such as Nihilego, Nidoking, and opposing Mega Aerodactyl that can usually switch into Chandelure and force it out for Chandelure to finish later
  • Bulky Pokemon such as Amoonguss, Swampert and Hippowdon can pivot into the fast Pokemon that check Chandelure like Mega Aerodactyl and Mega Beedrill are helpful. Amoonguss stands out as it can reliably switch into Scalds and Knock Off while appreciating Chandelure's ability to check Lucario and Infernape more
  • Other Pokemon that can switch into Knock Off and exploit Pursuit such as Terrakion, Cobalion, or Lucario all can capitalize on Chandelure's Ghost-typing. Unlike Terrakion and Lucario, Cobalion struggles against bulkier teams and benefits from Chandelure moreso
  • Pokemon like Mega Aerodactyl and Mega Manectric provide a better matchup against offense while benefitting from Chandelure wearing down bulkier teams
  • Stealth Rock users like Mega Aggron, Mega Steelix, and the aforementioned Swampert synergize well with Chandelure defensively and their hazards help wear down the opposing team
[SET]
name: Choice Scarf
move 1: Fire Blast
move 2: Shadow Ball
move 3: Trick
move 4: Memento
item: Choice Scarf
ability: Flame Body / Flash Fire
nature: Timid
evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========
  • Trick can disturb bulky pokemon trying to switch into a STAB attack, like Umbreon and Blissey
  • Memento can provide set up opportunities for Chandelure's teammates
Set Details
========

  • Choice Scarf remedies Chandlures underwhelming speed stat somewhat and lets it outspeed pokemon such as Celebi, Mega Manectric, and Nidoking
  • Flame Body deters Pursuit trapping while potentially punishing U-turn users, including Mega Beedrill and Scizor.
  • Flash Fire allows Chandelure to completely wall Fire-types like Infernape lacking Stone Edge

Usage Tips
========

  • Easily used as a revenge killer against Pokemon that usually will outspeed it like Mega Manectric, Celebi, and Gengar
  • Can pivot into weaker attacks like Scizor's Bullet Punch or U-Turn and Fighting-type moves from Pokemon that don't have the coverage to threaten Chandelure like Nasty Plot Infernape, but switching into attacks is risky when Chandelure despises all entry hazards
  • Don't use Trick or Memento too early should you need to revenge a faster foe later
  • Using Trick on bulky Pokemon such as Hippowdon, Blissey, and Empoleon early game against slower teams can ease the match up for your wallbreakers
  • Like other Choice-locked users, Chandelure is rather prediction reliant and can be easily exploited through its Ghost/Fire attacks, providing set-up opportunities for Pokemon like Mega Houndoom and Kommo-o
  • Avoid getting locked into trick with the opponent switching into a Z-Crystal user like Kommo-o.
  • Remain wary of potential switch-ins, particularly opposing Choice Scarf Krookodile that pivot into Shadow Ball and proceed to trap Chandelure
  • Keeping hazards off the field gives Chandelure more opportunities to come in and check Steel-types

Team Options
========

  • Fits best on balance and bulky offense teams that need a revenge killer and are capable to dealing with faster Mega Pokemon
  • Set-up sweepers such as Scizor, Dragon Dance Kommo-o, and Mega Altaria greatly appreciate the support from Momento
  • Other boosting Pokemon like Nasty Plot Celebi and Calm Mind Latias appreciate Chandelure wearing down their checks like Alolan Muk
  • With Chandelure so easily pressured by hazards, pokemon that can remove them such as Hydreigon, Starmie, and Rotom-Mow
  • Pokemon such as Togekiss, Empoleon, and Hippowdon that can take advantage of the faster Choice-Scarf users like Latias, Hydreigon and Krookodile make for good switchins. Remain wary on Krookodile clicking Pursuit, though.
  • Wallbreakers such as Nidoking, Mamoswine, or Kyurem can take advantage of Chandelure's switchins

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
  • The Choice Scarf also may run Energy Ball to pressure bulky grounds like Swampert or Hippowdon more. Though, they are already don't appreciate being crippled by Trick and Energy Ball misses out on the ability to bother Blissey and Empoleon
  • Calm Mind sets can utilize Taunt in tandem with Ghostium Z for a slightly stronger match up against Offense, as Leftovers isn't needed with no Substitute cutting health
  • Chandelure can run a hard-hitting Choice Specs set, but it suffers from its limited speed tier, lack of Substitute, and is revenge killed easier than its other sets.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Entry Hazards**: All forms of entry hazards bother Chandelure and wear it down quickly and make it unreliable with taking hits throughout the match

**Pursuit Trappers**: Pursuit trappers like Alolan Muk, Krookodile, and Mega Aerodactyl can out speed Chandelure regardless of its item and threaten Chandelure with pursuit or a super effective STAB move such as Stone Edge or Knock Off, respectively.

**Kommo-o**: Kommo-o, especially Bulletproof variants, don't mind switching into Chandelure and only have to fear Memento or Z-Move to fear as Kommo-o resists Fire Blast and Bulletproof variants are immune to Shadow Ball

**Dark-types**: Dark-types in UU such as Hydreigon, Mega Houndoom, and Mega Sharpedo all resist both of Chandelure's STABs and can retaliate with their own STAB moves. Other Dark-types such as Krookodile and Bisharp threaten Chandelure regardless of their resists through offensive pressure with their STAB moves. Though, Bisharp needs to be careful with Sucker Punch against Substitute Chandelure.

**Revenge Killers**: Chandelure's high special attack stat means most offensive Pokemon won't be switching in, but a plethora of revenge killers such as Zeraora, Mega Aerodactyl, and Nihilego can KO Chandelure

**Specially Defensive Walls**: Umbreon, Snorlax, and Blissey all don't mind taking hits from Chandelure. However, Blissey needs to be careful against Calm Mind variants, and all of these Walls are crippled by Trick.

Hello I promise to have a much better amcheck this time around. My comments will be in bold and implement what you want and I most likely might be missing some points since there’s a lot to cover.
[OVERVIEW]
  • Chandelure is a strong special attacker in the UU metagame with a nice STABs in Fire and Ghost (More-so its monstrous Special Attack while also being a devastating stallbreaker gives it its niche in the tier.)
  • Checks Steel-types like Mega Aggron and Scizor (See point below on Infernape and Cobalion)
  • Can beat stall with Calm Mind sets without much effort (This point can really be fleshed far more as the Sub Calm Mind set is one of Chandelure’s biggest niches. Expand to any Stall that lacks Hydreigon.)
  • Held back by middling speed tier that leaves still out sped by fast threats like Mega Aerodactyl, Mega Beedrill, and Mega Sceptile even when using a Choice Scarf
  • Struggles with the popularity of pursuit trapping and commonness of Mega Aerodactyl and Scarf Krookodile
  • Add a point here on why Hydreigon’s massive popularity harms it and why it can’t circumvent its flaws compared to other Ghost-types like Gengar and Doublade.
  • Weak to all entry hazards(I mean Spikes doesn’t do damage based on typing I’d only keep this Stealth Rock also this point can seriously be expanded to why Stealth Rocks minimizes Chandelure’s set-up opportunities)
  • Typing can still help against pokemon such as Infernape and Cobalion lacking Stone Edge (you should bring this up and merge with the ability to check Steel-types point. the positives should almost always be detailed first before the negatives. Also Chandelure being one of the few hard stops to Nasty Plot Infernape is pretty invaluable.)
(The overview is overall very barebones and lacks much information that would help the reader while also being pretty painful to read to put it bluntly. It lacks a lot of depth on Chandy and doesn’t exactly explain what Chandy’s niche is in the tier which is being capable of being almost impossible for Stall to deal with if it gets the opportunity to set-up while the Choice Scarf set gets to use both Speed and massive power from its Special Attack.)

[SET]
name: Choice Scarf
move 1: Fire Blast
move 2: Shadow Ball
move 3: Trick
move 4: Memento
item: Choice Scarf
ability: Flame Body
nature: Timid
evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========
  • Trick can disturb bulky pokemon trying to switch into a STAB attack, like Umbreon and Blissey. (Lol I just saw how bad this previous note was removed)
  • Memento can provide set up opportunities for Chandelure's teammates (At the cost of sacking Chandelure so have it be, “Memento can provide set up opportunities from a weakened Chandelure for its teammates.) , such as Mega Altaria and Kommo-o
Set Details
========

  • Choice Scarf remedies Chandlures underwhelming speed stat somewhat and lets it outspeed pokemon such as Celebi, Mega Manectric, and Nidoking
  • However, Chandelure is still outsped by extremely fast pokemon like Mega Aerodactyl, Mega Sceptile, and Zeraora (I wouldn’t really have this point in set details since this point has already made to be pretty evident in the Overview.)
  • Flame Body deters Pursuit trapping while potentially punishing U-turn users, including Mega Beedrill and Scizor (Scizor’s more important swap it with Mega Bee).

Usage Tips
========

  • Easily used as a revenge killer (To revenge kill what???? Really vague and uninformative point here.)
  • Can pivot into weaker attacks like Scizor's Bullet Punch (Eh you do risk that small chance of being 2HKOed from a Banded Bullet Punch after Rocks damage. I’d also mention that it switches into Nasty Plot Infernape easily. Also provide more examples of weaker attacks than just Chandelure being able to somewhat handle Scizor.) or U-Turn (No mention to why Chandelure can be brought in through pivoting moves like U-turn and Volt Switch?), but switching into attacks is risky when Chandelure despises all entry hazards
  • Don't use Trick or Memento too early should you need to revenge a faster foe later (Mention why it’s much more useful to use Memento during the later game when you can use Memento as a parting gift+sack to give a set-up sweeper a free turn.)
  • Using Trick early game against slower teams (Tricking what though? Blissey? Empoleon? Hippowdon? Yes these are good examples that you can use.) can ease the match up for your wallbreakers
  • Like other Choice-locked users, Chandelure is rather prediction reliant (Another point that seriously needs to be expanded on! Provide reasoning to why clicking the wrong move can open up free turns to the opponent. Your Trick point below is fine but how can your opponent capitalize on Chandelure if you predict incorrectly?)
  • Avoid getting locked into trick with the opponent switching into a Z-Crystal user like Kommo-o.
  • Remain wary of potential switch-ins, particularly opposing Choice Scarf Krookodile that pivot into Shadow Ball and proceed to trap Chandelure
  • No point why removing hazards is key to provide Chandelure more opportunities to come in???

Team Options
========

  • Fits best on balance and bulky offense teams (I really don’t get why all of these opening points are so vague. These points are the intros for the reader in these sections and they should immediately give an initial idea of where to use Chandelure and this only gives the reader tons of questions. Why does it fit on Balance? Why on Bulky Offense? What justifies its position on these teams because of its kit? There are so many points that require expanding on in this analysis.)
  • Set-up sweepers such as Scizor, Dragon Dance Kommo-o, and Mega Altaria greatly appreciate the support from Momento(Memento*. Also, mention why Chandelure lures in Hydreigon, Krookodile, and other stuff that isn’t coming off the top of my head through Memento which is something that these sweepers capitalize on?)
  • Other boosting Pokemon like Nasty Plot Celebi and Calm Mind Latias appreciate Chandelure wearing down their checks like Alolan Muk (Remove this is a bad example. Even with some chip on Alolan Muk Chandelure is in the most uncomfortable 50/50s when it gets in and just gets fucked by whatever Dark-type move it clicks. This can work if you explain that Chandelure deals with some bulky Steels and Scizor for these two.)
  • With Chandelure so easily pressured by hazards, pokemon that can remove them such as Hydreigon, Starmie, and Rotom-Mow (Phobic? Phobic?! PHOOBBBBIIIIICC!!!! Also Chandelure handling Steel-types again can probably be added for these specific choices of hazard removal.)
  • Pokemon such as Togekiss, Empoleon, and Hippowdon that can take advantage of the faster Choice-Scarf users like Latias (Move Latias to the back. It’s not as important or prevelant as these other examples.), Hydreigon and Krookodile make for good switchins. Remain wary on Krookodile clicking Pursuit, though.
  • Wallbreakers such as Nidoking, Mamoswine, or Kyurem can take advantage of Chandelure's switchins (Which Chandelure switch-ins do you have in mind? If you’re talking about Krookodile and Hydreigon I think Nidoking is invalid since Nidoking does not want to be in front of these mons without a Sub up. Mamoswine and Kyurem I guess are ok if Chandelure is sacked that turn. Specs Primarina is a good example of a wallbreaker that abuses the normal Chandy switch-ins though so mention that.
  • Mention Cobalion, Terrakion, and Lucario and how they discourage Scarf Krookodile from clicking Pursuit on Chandelure.

name: SubCM
move 1: Substitute
move 2: Calm Mind
move 3: Flamethrower / Fire Blast
move 4: Shadow Ball
item: Ghostium Z / Leftovers
ability: Flame Body
nature: Timid
evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

  • Substitute lets Chandelure evade Toxic from the likes of Blissey and other status users and proceed to set up on them
  • Fire Blast can be used over Flamethrower for more immediate power (Does this miss out on any important KOs while unboosted?), but since Calm Mind Chandelure is most useful against bulkier team this usually isn't worth the risk

Set Details
========

  • Ghostium Z in tandem with Shadowball gives the option for unleashing a strong Never-Ending Nightmare (E X P A N D. Give examples! Why should I use Ghostium over Leftovers? What does Ghostium KO that’s beneficial for Chandelure at the expense of passive recovery?)
  • Leftovers increase Chandelure's longevity as it will be losing hp faster with Substitute
  • Flame Body provides utility against faster teams, threatening to burn against Pursuit, U-turn, or Scizor's Bullet Punch

Usage Tips
========

  • Chandelure should be played carefully so it can remain healthy enough to set up a Substitute and boost safely(This fluff. Seems like a full on generalization with any sweeper. Like yeah I should play any sweeper on the field carefully so it can stay healthy, boost safely, and prevent itself from being removed by priority or from other means. Remove.)
  • When forcing a switch, Substitute is the safest move, as it can prevent Pursuit trapping
  • Entry through a slow U-turn or Volt Switch is ideal so Chandelure isn't taking unnecessary damage
  • Feel free to pivot into Pokemon that can't harm Chandelure much, such as Cobalion and Infernape (No Scizor???) lacking Stone Edge
  • Switching in with hazards up is risky, and can prevent Chandelure from performing well (More expansions! Mention that Stealth Rock minimizes it’s opportunities to set-up Sub and that it makes it more susceptible to getting picked off by Pursuit!)
  • Switching into status moves like Toxic or Thunder Wave recklessly severely cripples Chandelure and may make it deadweight
  • Chandelure's Z-Move should be saved for when it's unboosted and needs the power to break past a threat, such as Mega Aerodactyl and Mega Altaria after Stealth Rock damage
  • Against stall, using the Z-Move for Haze users like Quagsire and Tentacruel (Tentacruel on Stall.... bad example.)is crucial to effectively break
  • Mention again why it wants hazard removal to give Chandelure more opportunities to come in.

Team Options
========

  • Chandelure's stallbreaking prowess is greatly appreciated on bulky offense and balance teams (Use the same advice from the opening of Team Options above.)
  • With Chandelure so easily pressured by hazards, pokemon that can remove them such as Empoleon, Hydreigon, and Gligar are essential
  • Gligar, Scizor, and Hydreigon can all run U-turn and pivot Chandelure in safely (More-so VoltTurn as a whole. Mention good Volt Switch users for Chandelure.)
  • Fast Pursuit trappers like Choice Scarf Krookodile and Mega Aerodactyl can trap Pokemon such as Gengar and Beedrill so Chandelure has an easier time setting up (This Point fits better with the Scarf set imo since it allows less mons to outspeed Chandelure and if you do move it, remove Gengar.)
  • Bulky Pokemon such as Swampert and Hippowdon can pivot into the fast Pokemon that check Chandelure like Mega Manectric and Mega Beedrill are helpful
  • Pokemon like Mega Aerodactyl and Mega Manectric provide a better matchup against offense while benefitting from Chandelure wearing down bulkier teams

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
  • The Choice Scarf set can run Flamethrower to avoid missing a crucial Fire Blast (My vague tally for OO: Vague Point #1. What important KOs does Flamethrower miss out on that makes it less reliable compared to Fire Blast.)
  • The Choice Scarf also may run Energy Ball to pressure bulky grounds like Swampert or Hippowdon more. (Vague Point #2. Why does Chandelure usually not want to opt for Energy Ball on the Scarf set?)
  • Calm Mind sets can utilize Taunt instead of Substitute to pressure stall even further, but this trade worsens the matchup against more offensive teams
  • Chandelure can run a hard-hitting Choice Specs set, but it can be easily revenge-killed more so than its other sets (Change to more easily susceptible to Pursuit and also puts you in more uncomfortable 50/50s vs Scarf Krookodile.)
  • Chandelure can opt for Flash Fire instead of Flame Body to more comfortably switch into Infernape lacking Stone Edge while gaining a boost (Vague Point #3. What makes Flame Body usually superior to Flash Fire in most scenarios?)

Checks and Counters
===================

**Entry Hazards**: All forms of entry hazards bother Chandelure and wear it down quickly and make it unreliable with taking hits throughout the match (Makes it more susceptible to Pursuit as well.)

**Pursuit Trappers**: Fast pursuit trappers like Choice Scarf Krookodile and Mega Aerodactyl can outspeed Chandelure regardless of its item and threaten Chandelure with pursuit or a super effective STAB move (What moves respectively?)

**Kommo-o**: Kommo-o, especially Bulletproof variants, don't mind switching into Chandelure and only have to fear Momento (Memento*)or Z (AM GP check lol Z-Move*)to fear as Kommo-o resists Fire Blast and Bulletproof variants are immune to Shadow Ball (Its only really Bulletproof variants though since any non Bulletproof Kommo-o has a good chance of getting 2HKOed by Shadow Ball.)

**Dark-types**: Common Dark-types in UU such as Hydreigon, Mega Houndoom (Mega Houndoom is not common so reword this.), and Mega Sharpedo all resist both of Chandelure's STABs and can retaliate with a STAB move

**Revenge Killers**: Chandelure's high special attack stat means most offensive Pokemon won't be switching in, but a plethora of revenge killers such as Zeraora, Mega Aerodactyl, and +1 Mega Sharkpedo (Sharpedo*. I’d remove though since Sharpedo isn’t a revenge killer but a late-game cleaner.) can KO Chandelure

**Specially Defensive Walls**: Umbreon, Snorlax, and Blissey all don't mind taking hits from Chandelure. However, Blissey needs to be careful against Calm Mind variants, and all of these Walls are crippled by Trick.

Oh my that was a lot and I probably missed a couple things because of this. Of course you aren’t required to implement this though unless the QC team says so. My amcheck is finished.

I think CM should be the first set. That alongside its Fire-type are what give it its niche over Gengar. Scarf sets are very mediocre without SubSerp to abuse and being outsped still by Pursuit MAero.
Yes, do this.
[OVERVIEW]
  • Chandelure is a strong special attacker in the UU metagame with a nice STABs in Fire and Ghost (More-so its monstrous Special Attack while also being a devastating stallbreaker gives it its niche in the tier.)(Sure, but Gengar also fits that niche while being way faster, what gives chandy it's niche is it's fire typing, making it a decent check to mons like Scizor, Nape, and Coba).
  • Checks Steel-types like Mega Aggron and Scizor (See point below on Infernape and Cobalion)(This point is pretty unnecessary since as long as you accurately convey the fact that chandy's defensive typing is it's main niche > Gengar then the fact that it can switch into steel type moves is sorta already stated and common sense anyways)(Remove this point).
  • Can beat stall with Calm Mind sets without much effort (This point can really be fleshed far more as the Sub Calm Mind set is one of Chandelure’s biggest niches. Expand to any Stall that lacks Hydreigon.)("without much effort" is just a really dumb thing to state in general b/c it's always matchup dependent. I don't think any good stall is just 6-0d by Chandelure t1 even if it doesn't have Hydreigon. Just reword this entirely so that they know sub cm chandy is capable of breaking stall).
  • Weak to all entry hazards(I mean Spikes doesn’t do damage based on typing I’d only keep this Stealth Rock also this point can seriously be expanded to why Stealth Rocks minimizes Chandelure’s set-up opportunities)(This point is literally four fuckin words bro, reword it so it just says that chandy is prone to chip due to being weak to rocks, absorbing uturns, subs, etc).
  • Typing can still help against pokemon such as Infernape and Cobalion lacking Stone Edge (you should bring this up and merge with the ability to check Steel-types point. the positives should almost always be detailed first before the negatives. Also Chandelure being one of the few hard stops to Nasty Plot Infernape is pretty invaluable.)(Nah just merge it with the first point like I said in my point up there. It's defensive typing is it's main niche > Gengar and that's worth noting in the point where it's talking about it's niche in UU).
(The overview is overall very barebones and lacks much information that would help the reader while also being pretty painful to read to put it bluntly. It lacks a lot of depth on Chandy and doesn’t exactly explain what Chandy’s niche is in the tier which is being capable of being almost impossible for Stall to deal with if it gets the opportunity to set-up while the Choice Scarf set gets to use both Speed and massive power from its Special Attack.)(Once again drei is poppin rn on stall so it's not exactly "almost impossible to deal with" and it's main niche is being able to break stall while providing a sciz/nape/coba/etc switch in, Gengar has brazy SpA and breaks stall while having a far better speed stat, making the whole "high spa and breaks stall" niche kinda dumb to focus this much on b/c that's Gengar. Regardless I do agree that you need to flesh out your shit super badly, use more than a couple of words and use complete sentences please).

Moves
========
  • Trick can disturb bulky pokemon trying to switch into a STAB attack, like Umbreon and Blissey. (Lol I just saw how bad this previous note was removed)(huh)
  • Memento can provide set up opportunities for Chandelure's teammates (At the cost of sacking Chandelure so have it be, “Memento can provide set up opportunities from a weakened Chandelure for its teammates.)(No, Chandelure doesn't have to be weakened to justify using Memento), such as Mega Altaria and Kommo-o (Why are you mentioning malt and kommo? This is the moves section, not team options).
Set Details
========

  • Choice Scarf remedies Chandlures underwhelming speed stat somewhat and lets it outspeed pokemon such as Celebi, Mega Manectric, and Nidoking
  • However, Chandelure is still outsped by extremely fast pokemon like Mega Aerodactyl, Mega Sceptile, and Zeraora (I wouldn’t really have this point in set details since this point has already made to be pretty evident in the Overview.)(This point just doesn't belong in Set Details whether it was stated in Overview or not).
  • Flame Body deters Pursuit trapping while potentially punishing U-turn users, including Mega Beedrill and Scizor (Scizor’s more important swap it with Mega Bee).
  • (Mention Flash Fire since I want it slashed, being able to hard wall nape and shit is p neat).

Usage Tips
========

  • Easily used as a revenge killer (To revenge kill what???? Really vague and uninformative point here.)(This doesn't really help him. Give him examples and help him fix the point instead of just questioning it, anyways it's able to revenge kill shit like celebi, nidok, geng, and other things it can't really switch into but scarf lets it outspeed).
(Sort of like how bayb says, merge this with the point above and also give us more in depth reasoning as to why chandy is prediction reliant. For example it can give chandy free opportunities to be pursuit trapped, or it can let something use chandy as setup fodder, etc).
  • Remain wary of potential switch-ins, particularly opposing Choice Scarf Krookodile that pivot into Shadow Ball and proceed to trap Chandelure (Merge this with the point 2 above, like i said).
  • No point why removing hazards is key to provide Chandelure more opportunities to come in???

Team Options
========

There are so many points that require expanding on in this analysis.)(Once again just questioning it isn't really helping him at all. I don't think it needs much explaining anyways, maybe just say "because of it's ability to apply offensive pressure while also having defensive utility).
This can work if you explain that Chandelure deals with some bulky Steels and Scizor for these two.)(Keep the muk mention since chandy definitely wears it down. But yeah expand this point by mentioning how chandy can break steels n shit like bayb said).
  • With Chandelure so easily pressured by hazards, pokemon that can remove them such as Hydreigon, Starmie, and Rotom-Mow (Phobic? Phobic?! PHOOBBBBIIIIICC!!!! Also Chandelure handling Steel-types again can probably be added for these specific choices of hazard removal.)(Not positive on what you're trying to convey with the screaming, ig it's because he didn't finish his point but for the future just be straight forward. I also don't think the steel type thing is necessary... do finish this point tho so it's a complete sentence lol).
  • Pokemon such as Togekiss, Empoleon, and Hippowdon that can take advantage of the faster Choice-Scarf users like Latias (Move Latias to the back. It’s not as important or prevelant as these other examples.)(Really not necessary), Hydreigon and Krookodile make for good switchins.
(!!!, gj bayb. Expand upon this tho and include knock off n shit. Krook is already sorta discouraged from clicking Pursuit since chandy subs as it krook comes in, meaning Krook just loses the 1v1 if it pursuits twice > knocking/eqing twice. So having these as knock absorbers is beneficial and you should mention that).
  • (Ground immunities should have a mention here to pivot into scarf krook eqs and hippo and all that. Examples could be Gligar, Latias, and Hydreigon).

(Flash Fire is definitely viable enough to be slashed. Also removing z move from the main set because leftovers is just more reliable 95% of the time and chandy's defensive typing is it's main edge over Gengar meaning longevity is super important. Also I think flamethrower is better than Fire Blast the vast majority of the time so let's not have that slashed, can be kept in moves tho :eyes:).

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

  • Substitute lets Chandelure evade Toxic from the likes of Blissey and other status users and proceed to set up on them
  • Fire Blast can be used over Flamethrower for more immediate power (Does this miss out on any important KOs while unboosted?)(Maybe, even tho I removed this from being slashed you can keep it here in moves. Fire Blast can be useful for more immediate power but flamethrower is just way more reliable for what chandy is tryna do and the extra power really isn't necessary most of the time), but since Calm Mind Chandelure is most useful against bulkier team this usually isn't worth the risk

Set Details
========

  • Ghostium Z in tandem with Shadowball gives the option for unleashing a strong Never-Ending Nightmare (E X P A N D. Give examples! Why should I use Ghostium over Leftovers? What does Ghostium KO that’s beneficial for Chandelure at the expense of passive recovery?)(Give examples for him if you feel he needs some, these questions you're telling him to answer probably just make it more confusing, be more direct)(Okay so we're deciding to deslash the z move but you can still have a point here about Firium Z and Ghostium Z. Talk about how leftovers is far more reliable and consistent for what sub cm chandy is tryna do, but the respective z moves can improve some non stall matchups, giving it opportunities to catch random shit off guard).
  • Leftovers increase Chandelure's longevity as it will be losing hp faster with Substitute (Move this point up).
  • Flame Body provides utility against faster teams, threatening to burn against Pursuit, U-turn, or Scizor's Bullet Punch
  • (Mention Flash Fire now that it's slashed).

Usage Tips
========

Remove.)(Not necessary to remove but it prolly should be reworded to like "try and keep hazards off the field to keep chandy as healthy as possible" or something of the sort).
  • When forcing a switch, Substitute is the safest move, as it can prevent Pursuit trapping (Explain this a bit further, yes it can sort of prevent pursuit trapping but it also lets chandy click a STAB or setup for free next turn which I think is the main thing it's got going for it).
  • Entry through a slow U-turn or Volt Switch is ideal so Chandelure isn't taking unnecessary damage (Mention that it's wary of status specifically).
  • Switching into status moves like Toxic or Thunder Wave recklessly severely cripples Chandelure and may make it deadweight (merge this with the pivot point like i say).
  • Chandelure's Z-Move should be saved for when it's unboosted and needs the power to break past a threat, such as Mega Aerodactyl and Mega Altaria after Stealth Rock damage (This point can stay since the z move is still mentioned in set details, but reword it to something like "If running a z move, Chandelure should use it to catch pokemon that would normally be safe to switch in or revenge such as Mega Aerodactyl or Krookodile").
  • Against stall, using the Z-Move for Haze users like Quagsire and Tentacruel (Tentacruel on Stall.... bad example.)(Tentacruel is viable on stall so idk what you're getting at) is crucial to effectively break (Remove this point tho anyways cause no more z move on the set, don't wanna emphasize too much on something that's not on the set).
  • Mention again why it wants hazard removal to give Chandelure more opportunities to come in. (Not necessary since this should sorta be apart of the first point).

Team Options
========

  • Chandelure's stallbreaking prowess is greatly appreciated on bulky offense and balance teams (Use the same advice from the opening of Team Options above.)(Again, instead of giving advice just directly help him fix the point)(Doesn't really need much explanation just reword it so it says something like "Chandelure fits best on bulky offensive and balance teams that appreciate it's ability to break bulkier teams and defensive utility").
  • Fast Pursuit trappers like Choice Scarf Krookodile and Mega Aerodactyl can trap Pokemon such as Gengar and Beedrill so Chandelure has an easier time setting up (This Point fits better with the Scarf set imo since it allows less mons to outspeed Chandelure and if you do move it, remove Gengar.)(Bayb this doesn't make much sense)(This is a really fuckin weird point since it's not like Pursuit is a catch all move to fast mons and these two examples lose if they hard into chandy as it subs... even if it just clicks a STAB they take a shit ton of damage OR die. So if you keep this point you should reference specific pokemon it can chip such as Nihilego, Mega Aerodactyl, and Nidoking/Tentacruel maybe that can usually revenge it or switch into, stomach a hit, and force out, also include CB Scizor in this point).
  • Bulky Pokemon such as Swampert and Hippowdon (include Amoonguss here as another example because of it's ability to switch into knock/eq/scald/etc while it appreciates chandy's ability to check shit like nape and luke) can pivot into the fast Pokemon that check Chandelure like Mega Manectric and Mega Beedrill are helpful (These are pretty shitty examples considering neither reliably even force it out, bee can stay ig but mmane def has to go. Replace Mmane with Maero).
  • Pokemon like Mega Aerodactyl and Mega Manectric provide a better matchup against offense while benefitting from Chandelure wearing down bulkier teams
  • (This section needs to be fleshed out further a little, talk about knock absorbers/pursuit abusers such as Cobalion, Terrakion, Lucario, and Kommo-o. The former really appreciating Chandy's ability to break bulkier teams).
  • (Mention rockers that can work well with it such as Mega Aggron because due to the defensive synergy between the two, Mega Steelix for p much the same reason, and the aforementioned Swampert).

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
  • The Choice Scarf set can run Flamethrower to avoid missing a crucial Fire Blast (My vague tally for OO: Vague Point #1. What important KOs does Flamethrower miss out on that makes it less reliable compared to Fire Blast.)(Asking questions instead of giving answers, this doesn't help much and just gives him research to do > shit to write)(Honestly just remove this point though, this is like running Dragon Pulse on scarf Hydreigon, not worth it).
  • The Choice Scarf also may run Energy Ball to pressure bulky grounds like Swampert or Hippowdon more. (Vague Point #2. Why does Chandelure usually not want to opt for Energy Ball on the Scarf set?)(Same thing here)(Mention how Trick often cripples the things eball hits while also catching more than just those like Blissey and Empo. Shadow Ball is often enough to pressure other bulky waters like alo and quag anyways).
  • Calm Mind sets can utilize Taunt instead of Substitute to pressure stall even further, but this trade worsens the matchup against more offensive teams (Explain that this set should be ran with z move (not having sub makes lefties recovery not as necessary) and I don't think it worsens the matchup vs more offensive teams at all it probably only makes it better b/c of z move, not having sub just makes it easier to catch with pursuit or just revenge in general).
  • Chandelure can run a hard-hitting Choice Specs set, but it can be easily revenge-killed more so than its other sets (Change to more easily susceptible to Pursuit and also puts you in more uncomfortable 50/50s vs Scarf Krookodile.)(uncomfortable 50/50s with scarf krook and more susceptible to pursuit is kinda saying the same thing, but you're right)(Just mention it's meh speed tier, more susceptible to pursuit, and easier to revenge due to the speed tier and no sub and you should be all g).
  • Chandelure can opt for Flash Fire instead of Flame Body to more comfortably switch into Infernape lacking Stone Edge while gaining a boost (Vague Point #3. What makes Flame Body usually superior to Flash Fire in most scenarios?)(Same thing here bayb)(Remove this point since it's slashed now and def doesn't belong here).

Checks and Counters
===================

**Entry Hazards**: All forms of entry hazards bother Chandelure and wear it down quickly and make it unreliable with taking hits throughout the match (Makes it more susceptible to Pursuit as well.)

**Pursuit Trappers**: Fast pursuit trappers like Choice Scarf Krookodile and Mega Aerodactyl can outspeed Chandelure regardless of its item and threaten Chandelure with pursuit or a super effective STAB move (What moves respectively?)(Not necessary at all, common sense)(Muk literally isn't mentioned like once throughout this analysis, mention it here and remove the word "fast" at the beginning. Even tho muk isn't doin much these days it still is capable of trapping chandy very effectively).

**Kommo-o**: Kommo-o, especially Bulletproof variants, don't mind switching into Chandelure and only have to fear Momento (Memento*)or Z (AM GP check lol Z-Move*)(in the future don't bother with fixing shit like this, it's an am qc check not an am gp check. If you want you can PM the writer and let them know of a spelling error or something but it's not your job to focus on this) to fear as Kommo-o resists Fire Blast and Bulletproof variants are immune to Shadow Ball (Its only really Bulletproof variants though since any non Bulletproof Kommo-o has a good chance of getting 2HKOed by Shadow Ball.)

**Dark-types**: Common Dark-types in UU such as Hydreigon, Mega Houndoom (Mega Houndoom is not common so reword this.)(literally just remove the word common), and Mega Sharpedo all resist both of Chandelure's STABs and can retaliate with a STAB move (expand upon this by mentioning other dark types that can threaten it regardless of whether they resist both stabs or not. For example Bisharp Sucker Punch, Krookodile any stab, etc).

**Revenge Killers**: Chandelure's high special attack stat means most offensive Pokemon won't be switching in, but a plethora of revenge killers such as Zeraora, Mega Aerodactyl, and +1 Mega Sharkpedo (Sharpedo*. I’d remove though since Sharpedo isn’t a revenge killer but a late-game cleaner.)(mshark is capable of revenge killing when it needs to but it's a meh example anyways, replace it with maybe Nihilego) can KO Chandelure

**Specially Defensive Walls**: Umbreon, Snorlax, and Blissey all don't mind taking hits from Chandelure. However, Blissey needs to be careful against Calm Mind variants, and all of these Walls are crippled by Trick.
