It is for weaker players, sure. On the site MS and I play on its a smaller group of mostly good / very good players, who are all friends from irl to online. I don't think Texas gives me any town cred for speaking to him, nor does MS. Its just more fun to interact with people you enjoy talking to is I guess how to put it? And building solves off of friends' reads is much easier than doing it yourself.
