there is a pretty clear distinction between "ask people that townread me to clarify the townread" and "call out people that townread me for shitty reasons as shitty reasons" particularly when it comes down to forming some sort of towncore.

asking a scumread to expand =/= calling a person who townreads you too early or for too shitty of a reason bad for townreading you

I have only ever rolled scum in broken ass town sided games where I had to go all in on certain people because if I didn't I lose mechanically, so that is a very hard question for me to answer tbh.
 
Pretty sure dusk is town, his opening 15 minutes of posting up to the immediate connection between Moody and Hope+1 (which of the playerbase he and I would remember more distinctly than anyone else) I think demonstrates the kind of connection seeking representative of his town game

DLE still seems towny

Nuxl still seems bad and needs to be closely reviewed
 
DLE you made a good point about Josh's play being in his scum range and him often calling people out when he gets put in town blocks and the point has been noted. At the same time do remember that Josh has like seventy different styles he can or has played so meta doesn't work very well on him, I'm finding his posting to this point to be town process oriented.

DLE's opening in the three of the games i've seen at the time were really down to business; in invitational 1 he came late and really cracked down on his reads. in matrix 1 and invitational 2 he jumped into rvs and developed a read/wagon based on it.

in this game it felt fairly obstinate in comparison; his initial entrance didnt say much in a developing non rvs phase and then he popped up later to tr viper sure whatever but then he swapped straight onto ms which read of kind of like a jokey vote at that time. it felt unusually casual this game.

that's not my recollection of these games at all but you've also probably read them more recently than I have. my vague memory includes being idle as fuck in one of the invitationals and memeing most of d1 in the other until like page 50

i'm shocked someone has described my recent playstyle as down to business. i'd almost want to ask you to explain where you got it from but asking you to dig through two 100 page threads for that is just mean and doesn't help me develop a read

you joined sort of around the time dusk did so you've got a much better sense of dusk's meta than I do; what's something I can try to look for to feel confident in a dusk tr?

in that case, can you go through your creative process in situations where you need to dig your way out of shit in eimm and other social games where loss is imminent and somehow you live

Josh being mad about BAD scumreads on him, and annoyed and needing to call out BAD townreads on him have usually been constants. I'm incredibly surprised not to be seeing much of the latter, and the fact he's doing :^) in response to my sr instead of directly responding to it makes me much more confident in it.

dle........ i always wants to lynch dle the second he makes few/useless posts cause i am still butthurt about that 1 dumb noc he idled to victory in. i don't think he's said much of substance, his last vote/post at texas is like the only thing that might be serious but it's hard to tell if there's like actual salt behind it (scummy) or he's just joking (prolly NAI). i guess he just made a TR onto viper for the ever-so-nebulous reason of "moxie" but i am curious why he specifically only likes viper's moxie when i feel like that could describe a lot of players' approaches itt.

tBH, it feels like Former Hope completely omgus voted me when I bs lynched him and then called me scum for it and isn't being called out by the rest of town for it and fuck them
