Foes cannot use Electric-type attacks for 5 turns after this Pokemon comes out.
Bench Abilities only activate when the user is benched. A Pokemon is benched when you don't select it to participate in battle after team preview, therefore, benched Pokemon can't enter battle. This ability can't possibly trigger as it is written, and needs to be reworked.

was aware of all of these before you posted, but they're all fixed now.

What is a Rumbee? If you meant Ribombee, it already gets Protective Powder, so that's a no-no.
Okay I changed it to Parasect.

Quick Tip: I used the Magnifying Glass Search feature at the top right of the webpage and confirmed only I listed Parasect.

Ability Name: Guardian Angel

Ability Name - Gearing Up
Effect - Steel type allies take 20% less damage from everything. (This includes: Damage, Burns, Confusion, Life Orb, Sticky Barb, entry hazards, Leech Seed, Binding moves and Hail.)
Given To -
379.png
599.png
600.png
601.png

Competitive Analysis -
Steel Types now take less damage from everything, making it extremely useful for certain mons. It also gives Registeel a niche in allowing other steel types to be more bulky, or even more offensive with Life Orb dealing 8% instead of 10%.

Ability Name - Sand Armour (I'm British, get over it)
Effect - Allies are immune to the effects of sandstorm, and are immune to being statused and stat changes while it is active. Any status already active functions as normal.
Given To -
377.png
074.png
075.png
076.png

Competitive Analysis -
This ability allows allies to run sand even if they aren't Rock, Steel or Ground types. If sand is up, it's essentially like having Misty Terrain on your side. It also protects like clear body which is a nice little niche for it to fill too, which can help against attacks that lower defence, although they're uncommon.

Ability Name - Absolute Zero
Effect - Ice Type allies are immune to fire type moves and burns. All water type moves used on an Ice Type become Ice type. Status Moves function as usual.
Given To -
378.png
615.png

Competitive Analysis -
Heatproof but it's actually heatproof, not heat resistant. Gives a resistance to water moves and also removes STAB of it from a lot of pokemon. also prevents burns so Weavile and Mamoswine are happy.

Ability Name - En Garde
Effect - Fighting And Normal Type allies take 1/4 less damage from contact attacks. The effects stack (Will remove if unbalanced on a certain pokemon)

Given To -
538.png
539.png
236.png
106.png
107.png
237.png

Competitive Analysis -
A simple ability that helps Fighting and Normal types work better defensively. Also, Mega Lopunny is happy, as it basically gains fur coat.

Edit 1: changed En Garde to contact instead of physical. It was the original intention, I just forgot not all physical moves are contact.

Hmm, it appears submissions have slowed down quite a bit already. Considering we already have a good amount of them, I might just start voting early if more don't come in...

User has a 20% chance to summon Light Screen or Reflect at the end of each turn.

This ability's description is a bit wonky. Does this mean one of either can be summoned at the end of each turn by the user as they are on the bench?

On top of that, out of curiosity. Can it summon both on the same turn, or does it randomly pick one of the two if you get a lucky roll?

Thanks for the extra submissions, but you should probably just edit these into your first post.

Thanks for the extra submissions, but you should probably just edit these into your first post.
I did this because people who vote would be less likely to read the submissions descriptions when we list out the nominations if it was from a prior page, especially if people already read my first and didn’t think anything new was added.

(The last vote just had us pick the top 6 names, we should list the options and explanations in the voting announcement post. This is also crucial for when votes could be tied for submissions with the same evolutionary line).

TLDR- In our voting announcement post, let’s list the names and explanations of the abilities, summarized in 1 post. If even 7 people submit 5 submissions, it would be a burden to have to keep scrolling through pages of submissions, especially as more people list the names, and you have to scroll up to the pages to find the candidate submissions.

I have edited my first post and delete the one above.

Voting shall begin! As suggested, here are all the submissions conveniently put together. Remember, each Pokemon will only have one bench ability, so keep that in mind! Like before, up to 6 votes are allowed with up to 2 self-votes.

I myself will be giving my votes to Giant's Armor (SV), Miracle Fluff (SV), Juggernaut, Crystalize, Hibernation and Royal Guard.

Voting is partially over, but there's some stuff that needs to be sorted out first.

First off, we are one submission short of a set of 6. As such, we shall be hosting a tiebreaker vote for the third place winners. Here are the options:

Royal Guard
Juggernaut
Guardian Angel
Spooky Encounter
Giant’s Armor

Each tied with 3 votes. The tiebreaker voter may only pick 1 of these.

With that said, here are the winners:

Miracle Fluff took 1st place with 5(!) votes.

Knighthood, Crystalize, Hibernation and Antivirus all took second place with 4 votes. However, there is still one more issue with our winners.

In its current state, Antivirus isn't a viable choice. The description says the *user* must be burned to get a Special Defense boost, which is impossible since Bench Ability users always remain, well, on the bench. Spook please fix this so the user can be on the bench and give allies a boost of some sort.

With all that said, we shall now be entering our discussion phase. Take this time to discuss the winners impact on the meta, and if you haven't voted already, vote on the tiebreaker.
