NOC Small Street Game Thread - Ended- TOWN wins!

keep refreshing but there's nothing to comment on

my take is everyone who has posted so far seems townie? kinda want to see what others say before coming to any conclusion. Initially thought the setup spec/pub vanilla spec seemed off but on reread it felt like town trying to get something started rather than scum trying to blend in so idk where to go from here.

wdym by "seemed off"? was there a side u felt was wrong or smth?
 
wrt setup spec it made no sense how talking about it would help game solve this early

wrt the pub vanilla thing I think the backlash against a tr on csyager was off because, his alignment isn't really important for this phase unless you think he's a good lynch candidate today? Like even if he's mafia there's less to lose in not lynching him today than there is in being wrong and he flips town, thus losing numbers, because as mafia he has no role anyway that could harm town. Initially thought former was off for pushing it but then I backed down on my read, he's probably tinfoiling especially since he doesn't really have any other read atm, I think his tr on mewtwo felt natural after the little scuffle they had,dunno how better to word this.

imo at worst everything produced content that is especially useful after flips

wdym by tinfoiling? former had premediated a townread on mewtwo before u even asked so it wasnt even before their scuffle right
 
same thing with backlash? no wagon had started due to it, the topic sorta just dropped after people said their pieces ig
 
like uh yeah mafia can wifom pick roles too but going with that train of thought anything especially early itg can be construed as wifom so it makes it hard to make any reads or develop a gamestate

idk my philosophy is more if someone is doing something they don't *need* to do as town its worth looking into so yeah it probably looks better when comments aren't added, shrug

probs just a playstyle difference but u mentioning this makes me think of two specific instances where i've done this as town so ig im just not looking into that too much

still not sure why you feel the discussion was something that felt extra tho?

nvm sorry i think you're specifically talking about the mewtwo -> former interaction where he disagreed with the nilla thing and not people talking about the angleshoot mewtwo made
