On Deadline & Match Completion
All players must complete their matches by Sunday 5th of May 23:59 PM EST. Any incomplete matches by that time will be subject to activity decision (MAKE SURE YOU POST ON YOUR OPPONENT'S VM WALL); otherwise, the game will be dead. NO Extensions will be granted.

On Substitutions & Lineups
Managers, if you wish to make any substitutions, you must post here tagging both the player you're subbing out, the player you're subbing in, the manager and assistant manager of the opposing team, the substitute's opponent, and myself. This is to assure that everyone is in-the-loop and that the OP is updated accordingly to reflect the new match-up.

SM Bo7: DenisTheMenace vs MaceMaster (30-70) honestly I don't understand why Denis is in Bo7. His record is 1-2, and his main tier is BW (as far as I'm aware of), while Mace has shown some of the most consistency in this tour.
SM: ryyjyywyy vs Krytocon (65-35) Kryto had the guts to beat Blazikin in SM and suapah in DPP but ryy holds a way better record, so it's not gonna be easy for Kryto. Win goes to ryy
SM: ggopw vs Eriey (60-40) a more balanced (but still one-sided) matchup. Eriey is good, but his 4 won matches weren't against very formidable opponents. Other than that, Eriey just lost to ggopw last week
ORAS: dom vs Shyom (60-40) same thing as above. dom is very good at ORAS, shutting down winning streaks more than once. Shyom, on the other hand, only won against Cynara, and ayedan, who wasn't even playing his main tier. He also played DPP, so his focus was shifted between two metagames. Shyom also already lost to ggopw last week.
ORAS: Endal vs Catalystic (45-55) Endal was also a bold choice from the pluffs, since he hasn't shown his face very often around. They both hold a tied record, but not against the best opponents, also Catalystic lost to roman so ehh. I'm gonna give it to Cata just because more experienced
BW: SoulWind vs Wanonymous1616 (49-51) very hl match. Wanon already won against SW last week and had all his focus on BW during the whole pl (which is why I gave him the w) but this could honestly go both ways
DPP: CrashinBoomBang vs Yami (60-40) Magma isn't bad but CBB is strong as shit so I'm giving the win to him
2v2 Doubles: RuffletMuffler vs Pigeons (40-60) another very close matchup: Pigeons was a gamble from the moment he was drafted for more than 10k, but he showed everyone he was well worth the money. Rufflet, on the other hand, went for 3k but showed the most underpaid performance (3-2). Pigeons won against Rufflet last week but if he learns from this loss, he might as well get his revenge

Overall
Where's UOP? Why Denis for Bo7? this is a weird game for being the semi finals, but the mess caused in SM seems to balance out in the old gens. Close game but imho pluffs more likely to take the win

SM Bo7: Kaif vs XSTATIC COLD (20-80) Kaif for Bo7? this man was excited to be in the 1600s on ladder yesterday smh. Drop him back to BW where his main tier is and get my man Solar to kick XSC's ass.
SM: Iron Crusher vs UBERLandon21 (45-55) two decading legends. Both went for insane prices in the draft but delivered very little. Only giving this to Landon because one of IC's wins was in 2v2 so it doesnt count.
SM: Chickenpie2 vs alive (60-40) two very dangerous players, but alive hasn't played SM yet so ????
ORAS: WhalemanCheng vs Joker 1v1 (49-51) some of the most dangerous ORAS players around, honestly struggled decided who to give the W to but Joker won against roman so I mean, this is 100% his win.
ORAS: Osra vs Baleblaze (51-49) definitely an hl match. Osra is the most worth player for the money she was bought for, and BaleBlaze was a big steal. BB is yet to lose, but I'm giving this to osra because the opponents she fought were better, and because Baleblaze hasn't played oras yet either (???)
BW: SolarflareRo vs ima (45-55) Solar went for 4k and he's 6-1 while ima went for 7k and he's 7-0 like what the hell? These two were the biggest steals in the history of PLs. Giving this to ima because ima is going home 9-0 and Solar lost a match to wanony.
DPP: Hijasu vs TogliBabineBoeuf (35-65) Hijasu started strong by beating Tony, but then started disappointing. Togli remains a top tier DPP player even if his record doesn't clearly say so.
2v2 Doubles: AllFourtyOne vs motogp (30-70) I don't think there's much to be said here. VG is 1-3 and never played 2v2, while motogp is 5-2 and won against JediR. Very hard for VG to win since Kaif's team aren't really the creme de la creme and there aren't other good 2v2 players in the Panchams.

very fucking weird choices here as well but who am I to judge, correct planning is for casuals anyway. Heatrans are probably gonna get this bread.

honestly what is wrong with all the managers, this is Semi finals, not week 8. If you lose, you fucking go home. smh.

SM Bo7: Kaif vs XSTATIC COLD (51-49) - this is gonna be an IQ test for kaif and I'm not going to miss it

SM: Iron Crusher vs UBERLandon21 (40-60) - everyone has been saying Landon had a bad run this tour, well all of that doesn't mean shit poffs are a different atmosphere now his games actual matter insert heatrans being broken during reg season

SM: Chickenpie2 vs alive (60-40) - cp2 is one of the hardest players if not the hardest to prep for and he damn well knows how to win in his main sm tier while on the other hand, we have alive with an impressive run this tour but way way less impressive wins

ORAS: WhalemanCheng vs Joker 1v1 (51-49) - this one is prolly the hardest one to predict on one hand u have the dude that had a major stroke recently and on the other its joker who is probably still bummed out that he isn't playing osra once again, regardless I'm giving the edge to wmc because i think he can do well vs most likely deg teams coming from Joker

ORAS: Osra vs Baleblaze (55- 45) - another exciting match on paper spoiler alert its not going to be exciting when we see osras teams, anyway i don't think i have watched BB play oras recently which imo is a good thing since less cteaming potential for our favorite milk obsessed person with that being said the fact that when its important osra almost always wins is what i am going by

BW: SolarflareRo vs ima (40-60) - only two players that either have the same or better record than me facing each other :bloblul: I'm going with ima here since overall better player w/o even mentioning that insane 7-0 record totally not motivating solar with this .

DPP: Hijasu vs TogliBabineBoeuf (45-55) - the match im excited the least to watch so i won't get into why im going with this

2v2 Doubles: AllFourtyOne vs motogp (51-49) - now look do i think vg the guy idt has played 2v2 ever is better than ex 2v2 leader well of course not but its moto his specialty is losing to act in important moments like these and if they do get to play each other by some miracle VG is going to be unpredictable as hell u def cant prep for him while he can easily prep for you again with that being said if moto takes FIREEEs teams this is more like a (30-70) matchup.

Dom, on the other hand, has been grinding oras this entire tour, and he's honestly the favorite here. A closer predict because Shyom could surprise me. [60-40] dom)

ORAS: Endal vs Catalystic (Do I know who Endal is? Hell nah. But I'm not sure I'll have to in order to predict this match. Not sure why I think this, and it might not make too much sense, but Catalystic is winning. [40-60] Catalystic)

BW: SoulWind vs Wanonymous1616 (Stop this nonsense. Soulwind wins this. I don't care what happened last week. This is soulwind all the way. I'll give Wan a chance because he won last week, but it's unlikely imo. [70-30] SoulWind)

DPP: CrashinBoomBang vs Yami (CBB is honestly a great DPP player and I think he's got this on lock. Like, he'll win. CBB is the favorite here for sure. [75-25] CBB)

DPP: Hijasu vs TogliBabineBoeuf (This is the only uncertainty that I have in this team battle. Hijasu makes weird stuff, but I'm not sure Togli is really feeling himself here. Could go either way. [50-50])

2v2 Doubles: AllFourtyOne vs motogp (So, uh, yeah. It's VG versus moto. Moto is a great builder and should honestly sweep this JV 500 swimmer, but since it's 2v2, skill kinda flies out the window, making this still pretty close. [35-65] moto)
