SKI MASK THE SLUMP GOD-DROWN IN DESIGNER
I really like Keldeo as a competetive Pokèmon. I remember back in ORAS and BW2
Overused when it was such a massive threat, but now that stuff like Toxapex have
been introduced into the meta, it really fell off, since being walled by Toxapex is enough to
make anything trash in this tier. I always wanted to use this thing again, since it see’s very
little usage nowadays, but with some support, it works real nice as a late game
cleaner due to it’s pretty above-average speed and nice offensive stats. So let’s get started!

H2O (Keldeo) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Icy Wind
- Secret Sword
- Scald

This set is pretty powerful. This thing can usually take a hit from faster Pokemòn like
Choice Scarf Lando-T or Protean Greninja and strike back with a powerful water or fighting hit. Like I said
earlier, this thing is a pretty strong late game sweeper when it’s threats like Toxapex, Gastrodon, Clefable, or Magearna are
gone. It’s able to get the jump on things like Heatran or Garchomp and KO them with a Hydro Pump. When I was laddering
using this team, Keldeo would alway get one or two kills during the end-game. It’s pretty stronk. Don’t believe me? Okay, then, here’s
a wall of calcs to prove you wrong, hehe.

252 SpA Choice Specs Keldeo Secret Sword vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Magearna: 184-217 (50.6 - 59.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 SpA Choice Specs Keldeo Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Tornadus-Therian: 292-345 (80.6 - 95.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 SpA Choice Specs Keldeo Secret Sword vs. 248 HP / 28 Def Celesteela: 196-232 (49.3 - 58.4%) -- 69.5% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Choice Specs Keldeo Hydro Pump vs. 20 HP / 20 SpD Tapu Koko: 331-390 (115.7 - 136.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Choice Specs Keldeo Secret Sword vs. 248 HP / 8 Def Gastrodon: 280-331 (65.8 - 77.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Choice Specs Keldeo Hydro Pump vs. 248 HP / 244 SpD Scizor: 246-291 (71.7 - 84.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 SpA Choice Specs Keldeo Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Quagsire: 379-447 (96.1 - 113.4%) -- 75% chance to OHKO after Leftovers recovery

TAKEASTEPBACK (Greninja) (M) @ Groundium Z
Ability: Protean
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Dig
- U-turn
- Ice Beam

- Gunk Shot

This is the sole reason Keldeo can even put in any work. It can bait threats like Magearna or Toxapex and hit them
with a Z Dig and kill them off, or maybe put them in range of my Keldeo. It can even keep up momentum with U-Turn.
Even though I built the team around Keldeo, Gren is probably the most important member. When it’s done it’s job, it can be used as
a sack, or even can get surprise KOs on Bulu, Lando-T or Torn-T. It always does what it needs to do efficiently too, which makes it
a real nice member of the team.

ENERGY (Alakazam) (M) @ Alakazite
Ability: Magic Guard
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Focus Blast
- Psychic
- Shadow Ball
- Recover

God, I love Mega Zam (no homo). It helps weaken the opponent or maybe even sweep their team, and is a huge help to Keldeo.
I don’t really know what to say about this Pokemòn, it isn’t too interesting, but I don’t want my RMT to get taken down, so
I’ll try to explain more. I wanted to add something that could be a backup “sweeper” if Keldeo died.
Alakazam has amazing speed, amazing SpAtk and somewhat decent SpDef. Recover helps it survive long and
be able to repeatedly bash the opponent’s team with strong STAB Psychics and strong 120 base-powered Focus Blasts. Plus,
it can beat M-Pert with a little bit of prior chip.

ADVENTURETIME (Magearna) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Soul-Heart
EVs: 248 HP / 28 Def / 232 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Volt Switch
- Fleur Cannon
- Focus Blast
- Iron Head

Magearna is the only thing holding back Ash-Greninja from 6-0ing my entire team, except maybe Keldeo.
Due to it’s pretty nice special attack stat, it can dish out some damage, even when uninvested, and tank hits left and right
due to it’s immense bulk. Magearna is really fat on the SpDef side with AV and can soft-check almost every
special attacker (not Zard-Y tho lol). Even though it has 296 with no EVs, which is pretty low, it has real high based-power moves
like Fleur Cannon or Focus Blast, which make up for that. So yeah, this thing is meant to just tank hits and be annoying.

BIRDISTHEWORD (Zapdos) @ Leftovers
Ability: Static
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 188 Def / 72 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Volt Switch
- Discharge
- Defog

- Roost

Zapdos has always been a great competitive Pokemòn. I really like using it to scout for physical hits, punish Kart, rek Toxapex and threaten to status it, etc. No Heat Wave hurts, but Discharge and Volt Switch do pretty nicely alone. I ran 72 speed so I could outspeed modest Heatran and Volt Switch on it. I’m not sure if it’s necessary, but it’s still useful sometimes. It’s also a defogger which is always appreciated. I really don’t have much to say about this electro-birb other than the fact that it’s bulky, can defog, and can threaten to parahax Kart.

RAMBO (Tyranitar) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 168 Atk / 88 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Pursuit
- Crunch
- Stone Edge

- Stealth Rock

Tyranitar is for when I wanna shut my brain off and auto-win with hazards, because SR is balanced amirite? I like TTar on this team
because it fills two roles in one Pokemòn. It can Pursuit trap and kill psychic types and can set up rocks. I ran enough attack where I could hit hard and ran enough SpDef so I could tank some hits. When I use Tyranitar it puts in a lot of work. It might be the last, but DEFINITELY not least.

THANK YOU FOR READING :)

Time for checks and counters.
HAWLUCHA: Hawlucha 6-0es my team (if it is running stone edge) It all comes down to a roll with Magearna
Gastrodon: Gastrodon can wall my soul out of my body. I got very little things for Gastrodon.
Z-Giga Kartana: It can break past Zapdos with Z-Giga and can kill my Magearna if it’s taken too much damage.
Mawile: I’m not completely sure about this one, but I think it has a good MU.

also the import if you wanna use this:

First, make your Gren regular, I agree shiny looks sick, but Ash can't run shiny so it gives it away that its protean.
Also to hyper optimitize everything I went back and make everything odd number of HP.
I haven't even tested it yet, so just weaknesses on paper from a 2 second glance
