SS OU Corvi + stall team

corviknight.png

Corviknight @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 32 Def / 136 SpD / 88 Spe
Careful Nature
- Brave Bird
- Roost
- Substitute
- Bulk Up

Main component in the team. A bulky EV spread to help him take hits and a middling speed. Basic sub+bulk up strategy, sweeping with Brave Bird. Corviknight is a good dynamax user, boosting his speed with Max Airstream. Normally throw in Corviknight when other steel types like Ferrothorn are in play, and start setting up with Substitute and bulk up, using roost to keep healthy.
toxapex.png

Toxapex @ Black Sludge
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Haze
- Scald
- Toxic
- Recover

Toxapex is here basically as a damage sponge with regenerator, poisoning with toxic on switch ins while also removing buffs and debuffs with haze. Standard build, opting for toxic over toxic spikes because I think the toxic effect is better than the slow burn of regular poison, especially considering Cinderace has court switch. Covers for Darmanitan unless I think the opponent has Earthquake, and a core of the Stall part of the team.

ferrothorn.png

Ferrothorn @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Stealth Rock
- Leech Seed
- Gyro Ball
- Power Whip

Second part of the stall team. Covers electric weakness on team, and can also take hits from ground checks for Toxapex and Darmantan. A decent counter to Trick Room Hatterene with Gyro Ball, and Power Whip for a standard STAB move and to help deal with Dracovish. Iron Barbs + Rocky Helm also does decent chip damage if they don't read the Ferrothorn switch in.
ditto.png

Ditto @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Imposter
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 SpA
Naive Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Transform

Ditto is just too good to pass up. Dynamax counter and also makes opponents think twice before starting to set-up their sweepers. I'm open to ideas of switching out Ditto to a pokemon that would round out my team more, especially considering iI currently have 2 Choice Scarf users. Considering a Water Absorb pokemon to have a true check on Dracovish, but when playing with this team.., i just feel like scarfed Ditto is just too over-powering.
clefable.png

Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 160 Def / 96 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Aromatherapy
- Moonblast
- Wish
- Thunder Wave

Third part of my stall, this time with a Clefable support. Running Aromatherapy to keep pesky burns and paralysis off my team, then can start paralyzing herself with Thunder Wave. Wish lets me keep my Ditto and Darmanitan healthy after revenge kills, and gives Ferrothorn a better way to recover health. Moonblast is only here as a STAB move and so Clefable can do some damage. A different item suggestion would be nice because I feel like Corviknight is a better user of it in the long run. I'm not sure if Life Orb is worth it considering I'm running mostly a support set on her.
darmanitan-galar.png

Darmanitan-Galar @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Gorilla Tactics
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Icicle Crash
- U-turn
- Earthquake
- Flare Blitz

My preferred entry pokemon/sweeper. Just an overall super strong pokemon with Gorilla Tactics and Choice Scarf. Fast enough to pivot out of most bad match ups with U-Turn. Flare Blitz covers Banded Darmanitans, and a speed tie with scarfed. Earthquake covers fire types, and Icicle Crash as a STAB move. This pokemon just has so much coverage with his move pool it was hard to find a pokemon to fill his roll.

Basically looking for suggestions for this team. I haven't played the game since X & Y so I'm a little behind, so let me know if there are any glaring weaknesses. Weather teams give me some trouble, especially rain teams. Trick room is alright to deal with as long as I have a good understanding of the correct switch ins.

Hey LC, the meta revolves around dynmax as it's pretty powerful (currently, it could be banned). So stall team dont benefit from dynmax as most of your mons moves will change to max guard, thus leaving you at a disadvantage. So right now dynmax can be the factor on what wins game.

tbh ferro isnt really a counter to tr hatterene since hatterene has low speed and will take little damage from gyro ball and instead 2HKO ferro with mystical fire

True, normally with ferrothorn I've been trying out knock off which helps with Lifeorb Hatterene. Basically use Ferro to bait out hattarene dynamax with my own. Max steelspike murders hatterene
