when i play town i've realized there's some level of "how can i get other people to read me" versus "how can i get other people to trust in my reads." reads." I consider myself a good player. So I think if people can see the former through, then the second becomes natural because my reads are generally pretty damn accurate and I think I have the history to back it up.

Conversely, I don't consider a lot of people good players so all I want to do is just lock them down as an alignment and get them to sheep me for the rest of the game.

I've generally tried to yell at my scumreads. It doesn't change anything for my read for them. And it's generally not productive for the thread. So sometimes, trying to entice something like that gives you a reaction that hurts thread equity for whatever reason because it's clutter or people start to ignore it. It's happened in the past (check MS vs me in invitational, DS vs former in small street). So maybe hiding a card before it comes out can be pretty effective! Will see, obviously.

So maybe the two are intertwined, but I don't think it's particularly relevant this game. You may think that as you wish.

I've talked about this last game too; check somewhere between pages 4-6. Of course I don't think you'd realize since I think you were ghosting that game.

honestly just stepping back a bit

i feel like a decent amount of players on this site don't demonstrate serious conductive thought in their reads that would break them into the echelon of stronger players or players that i personally can feel like i bounce back with

so please read previous games and think about them. maybe my ego is in the way but it's seriously a super good idea to do it
