Pet Mod Breeding Variants V2

Rillaboom + Sirfetch'd
Pokemon Name:
Rillaboom-MartialArts
Egg Group: Field
Stats: 100/125/90/60/76(SpD averaged)/85
Type: Grass/Fight
New Moves: Close Combat, First Impression, Brave Bird, Curse, Leaf Blade
Abilities: Overgrow, (Scrappy)
Height: (Optional)
Weight: 103kg (227lbs)
Dex Entry: This variant of Rillaboom decided to incorporate martial arts techniques in it's drumming. The shows it gives are sensational!
Competitive Use: Rillaboom is already a strong pokemon that is can sweep the floor with most opponents. While I know that making it grass/fight will give it many weaknesses, it will also equally give it many resistances. With Farfetch'd providing powerful moves like CC, FI and BB, this variant of Rillaboom will make sure it leaves an everlasting impression (given it's not outright banned).

It's time, let's check out our winners!

First Place (5 votes)
View attachment 216605View attachment 216604
Pokemon Name: Rapidash-Meow
Egg Group: Field
Stats: 65 / 100 / 85 / 80 / 80 / 105 (BST: 515) Averaged Defense
Type: Steel/Fairy
New Moves: Fake Out, Iron Head, U-Turn
Abilities: Tough Claws / Pastel Veil (Anticipation)
Height: 1.7m
Weight: 80Kg
Dex Entry: It is said that touching this Pokemon would bring trainers good luck, but many suffered deep scatches as a result.
Competitive Use: Used as a Swords Dance sweeper or a wallbreaker thanks to Tough Claws and a good Speed stat. Steel-typing and improved Defense stat gives it much more set-up opportunities. It could also support its team with Fake Out and U-Turn shenanigans.
Second Place (4 votes)

Pokemon Name: Spoon Mr. Rime (Mr. Rime-Spoon)
Egg Group: Human-like
Stats: 80 HP / 85 Atk / 75 Def / 110 SpA / 100 SpD / 95 Spe | BST: 545 (Averaged Speed)
Type:
(Unchanged)
New Moves: Foul Play, Kinesis, Dream Eater, Charge Beam, Seismic Toss
Abilities: Magic Guard / Screen Cleaner | Ice Body
Height: 1.5 m | Weight: 48.2 kg
Dex Entry: After finding spoons used by the Alakazam, they started to develop further reaction speed, allowing them to run faster if needed. | The spoon handed by its Alakazam ancestor allows it to use telekinesis, but Mr. Rime still prefers to perform tap dancing.
Competitive Use: Basically just a faster Mr. Rime with reliable recovery, access of Foul Play (just for fun) and access to Magic Guard. Magic Guard alone allows it to wield Life Orb without penalty, which even Fake Out can hurt, and nullify hazard weaknesses (aside of Sticky Web), thus not needing to run Heavy-Duty Boots. With Nasty Plot and Freeze-Dry, it can become very dangerous toward even Toxapex and Dracovish. 95 Base speed isn't the quickest, but still fast enough to not be speed crept by Corviknight and Clefable this time. It can also provide support with Rapid Spin (combines very well with Magic Guard), Fake Out, Encore, and Thunder Wave.
Is it Overpowered?: While certainly bulkier than Jynx (who shares its Typing), its physical bulk is still somewhat bad and can be quickly taken down by faster physical threats such as Dragapult, Sand Rush Excadrill, Cinderace, Prankster Grimmsnarl, Barraskewda, Choice Scarf Hydreigon, Dragon Dance Gyarados, Buzz Flygon, and Gunwoman Froslass. Ocean Flareon can stomach a Freeze-Dry thanks to high Special bulk + neutrality thanks to Water / Fire, and OHKO in return with Flare Blitz. Flame Goodra speed ties with it, but its huge Special bulk (especially if it wears Assault Vest) allows it to survive even a Nasty Plot boosted attack, although it and Ocean Flareon must be wary of Psyshock.
Third Place (3 votes)

Pokemon Name: Thievul-Bananas
Egg Group: Field
Stats: 70 HP / 99 Atk (average) / 58 Def / 87 SpA / 92 SpD / 90 Spe
Type: Dark/Ice
New Moves: Icicle Crash, Superpower, Rock Slide, Earthquake, Zen Headbutt
Abilities: Gorilla Tactics / Unburden / Stakeout
Dex Entry: Hiding in the northern areas of Galar causes Thievul to learn some interesting battle strategies. Apparently bananas are now a dietary staple, and that's not monkey business!.
Competitive Use: Mainly wanted to see if I could make something with Gorilla Tactics work without being broken, and I think I did so. Maxing out at only 445 Atk with Jolly Scarf [equivalent to base 153] is not ideal (for reference, Scarf Jolly Darm hit 568, with an equivalency to base 210). This is about as strong as Mega Mawile (Adamant hit 678) or Mega Medicham (Adamant hit 656) from last gen. A double baned Jolly Thievul hits 667 Atk, putting it right in between both megas. It also has a worse type than both due to a SR weakness and a lower speed tier than both Medicham and Darm-G, and is incredibly frail with 70/58 physical bulk.

Pokemon Name: Castle Stonjourner (Stonjourner-Castle)
Egg Group: Mineral
Stats: 100 HP / 125 Atk / 135 Def / 20 SpA / 48 SpD / 70 Spe | BST: 498 (Averaged Special Defense)
Type:

New Moves: Shell Smash, Knock Off, Poison Jab, Hone Claws, X-Scissor
Abilities: Weak Armor
Height: 2.8 m | Weight: 720 kg
Dex Entry: Stonjourner had become a castle formation, with the head being located in the front. It can quickly knock out intruders with a swift punch. | Castle Stonjourner are notably heavier than normal Stonjourner, and is a very rare sight in Galar. They can disassemble and reassemble at will to hide themselves from a rampaging Gyarados or Tyranitar.
Competitive Use: Shell Smash. In addition to a better base Speed and base Attack than Crustle, Castle Stonjourner also have better physical bulk, allowing it to exploit Weak Armor to go even faster before setting up Shell Smash. It also have access to Knock Off to quickly disarm an item-reliant opponent and punish any switch-ins. I don't think I need further explanation for this one.
Is it Overpowered?: Stonjourner's Special Defense is still horrible, with Shell Smash worsened it. Although many Special Attackers have weak Defense and can't outrun a +2 Speed Stonjourner, Unaware Clefable can ignore the boost and finish it off with Moonblast. Choice Scarf Dragapult is able to revenge kill it, and Castle Stonjourner will be deadweight against a Swift Swim Barraskewda when rain is active. Corviknight can tank any hit and hit back with Iron Head, which can potentially OHKO on a -2 Defense Stonjourner. Aegislash can also do the same thing and minimize its Attack boost with King's Shield, but it must be wary about Earthquake or Knock Off, so switching it in would be risky. Finally, Burn, Paralysis or Intimidate spam will screw it up quickly.

Type: Steel/Fire
New Moves: Flare Blitz, Rapid Spin, Stealth Rock, Spikes, Will-o-Wisp
Abilities: Sheer Force / Flash Fire
Dex Entry: dude, copperajah got lit
Competitive Use: Copperajah-Forge can serve either as a scary Trick Room abuser with Sheer Force-boosted Iron Heads and Flare Blitzes, or as a defensive rocker similar to Heatran with Flash Fire.

Flareon and Leafeon are becoming better in Breeding Variants, but there is still one competitively-the-worst Eeveelution to fix; Glaceon.

Pokemon Name: Muddy Glaceon (Glaceon-Muddy)
Egg Group: Field
Stats: 80 HP / 60 Atk / 110 Def / 130 SpA / 95 SpD / 65 Spe | BST: 540 (Averaged HP)
Type:

New Moves: Scald, Hydro Pump, Earth Power, Sludge Wave, Recover
Abilities: Unaware | Ice Body
Height: 0.9 m | Weight: 35.9 kg
Dex Entry: Being able to adapt on the river, Muddy Glaceon figures out how to melt its own ice in order to perform Water attacks. It tend to overdo the melting that result a scalding water. | Although looking a bit sillier looking, it is more resilient than a normal Glaceon.

Competitive Use: Although this Glaceon still have four weaknesses and only gain a resistance to Water, it compensates with slightly better HP (which can reinforce good Defense further with Scald's burn) and Unaware, making physical set-up sweepers much less effective against it, especially since Muddy Glaceon have access to Recover. With Freeze-Dry, most opposing Water-type (including Toxapex) wouldn't bother to switch-in, while Earth Power will make it dangerous against Electric-type. It can serve as a wallbreaker who can ignore stage-based defensive boosts if it hold Choice Specs, or a physical wall with Scald and Unaware to ignore Attack and Special Attack boost.

Is it Overpowered?: It's Special bulk still isn't impressive, so strong Special wallbreakers can at least deliver a 2HKO or even a OHKO (though Unaware means that one should not set-up on Muddy Glaceon as it will just not work). It is also slow, which means it can be easily finished off if sufficiently injured outside of the semi-uncommon Trick Room. Migale Vikavolt will work the best does to naturally very high SpA and Compound Eyes Thunder.

Pokemon Name: Sumo Hitmonchan (Hitmonchan-Sumo)
Egg Group: Human-like
Stats: 97 HP / 105 Atk / 79 Def / 35 SpA / 110 SpD / 76 Spe | BST: 502 (Averaged HP)
Type:

New Moves: Earthquake, Heavy Slam, Iron Head, Knock Off, Poison Jab
Abilities: Thick Fat / Iron Fist | Inner Focus
Height: 1.8 m | Weight: 223.6 kg
Dex Entry: It is revealed that his variation of Hitmonchan wasn't known in public until they get exported into the Galar mainland. They can deliver punches as much as taking them. | Although they seems more obese than standard Hitmonchan at first, they turned out to simply have another layer of muscle, allowing them to tank physical and ranged hits better.

Competitive Use: Hitmonchan is the competitively worst of the Hitmons, and the reasons should be obvious; Hitmonlee have far better firepower while Hitmontop is better at supporting and use of Technician or Intimidate. With the bigness of Hariyama, Hitmonchan's Special Defense will be put into better use. Iron Fist allows it to power up Drain Punch, Bullet Punch and the elemental Punches to a more reasonable fire power, and can use Bulk Up to both boost its Attack and patch up it's less impressive Defense. It could also instead run Thick Fat to deal with special attacking (and maybe even physical attacking) Fire and Ice threats, especially with Assault Vest equiped.

Is it Overpowered?: 76 Speed is still unimpressive, meaning that it wants to use Mach Punch to take out faster opponent or have speed control supports. It's 105 Attack isn't really all that mighty and will not stand Burn, meaning that Conkeldurr, a fellow Fighting-type with Guts, still overshadows it in term of wallbreaking prowess. That being said, Conkeldurr itself is slower, and Sumo Hitmonchan is comparatively bulkier (combined with Thick Fat), especially if it managed to use Bulk Up, and Sumo Hitmonchan have access to Iron Head to deal with Fairy-type not having a problem with Poison moves.

Pokemon Name: Shock Cursola (Cursola-Shock)
Egg Group: Water 1
Stats: 85 HP / 95 Atk / 50 Def / 145 SpA / 130 SpD / 30 Spe | BST: 535 (Averaged HP)
Type:

New Moves: Thunder, Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave, Yawn, Sludge Wave
Abilities: Static | Perish Body
Height: 1 m | Weight: 11 kg
Dex Entry: The Shock Cursola had been known for causing a combination of petrification and paralysis on anyone who touched it's electroplasmic body. | New species of Cursola had developed static shocks, allowing it to generate electricity for self-defensive purposes.

Competitive Use: Cursola isn't really horrible, for sure, but it's definitely overshadowed by Galarian Corsola thanks to the pre-evolution's access of Eviolite. This whole new variant of Cursola now have what Galarian Corsola don't, namely Electric-typing which allows resistances to Steel, Flying and Electric, higher HP making it's Special bulk more usable, access of Thunder Wave and Yawn, and of course, BoltBeam coverage. With a Choice Specs or Assault Vest set, it can also play as a terrifying wallbreaker with BoltBeam coverage (with Assault Vest tanking even boosted Special Attacks). Or it can also mess with Yawn, Stealth Rocks, Thunder Wave or Will-o-Wisp to punish switch-ins. Once on a Trick Room, it can become a terror as not many are slower than it.

Is it Overpowered?: It's Speed is still very low, making it prone to be revenge killed, and it's Defense is still problematic, especially now that it is weak to the Physically oriented Ground (though most of them have to watch for Ice Beam or Giga Drian). It would only really shine in a Trick Room team (which is uncommon but more prominent in Doubles), or as a Specs wallbreaker, as Galarian Corsola is still better as a Ghost-type wall than Cursola ever could. In any case, just don't let it face a physical Ground or Dark outside of Trick Room (and watch for Sucker Punch), and you would be fine.

P.S. I definitely won't mind having Sylveon-Protector banned/removed from V2, seeing that Sylveon by itself is in Galar OU at the moment.

Type: Ghost/Water
New Moves: Recover, Toxic Spikes, Toxic, Haze, Baneful Bunker
Abilities: Weak Armor / Regenerator
Dex Entry: toxapex stopped eating corsolas because cursola seduced it
Competitive Use: Cursola-Tidal is a bulky mon that can both take hits and deal damage. It can use a defensive hazard-setting set or a set-up attacking set.

Pokemon Name: Grapploct-Hairy
Egg Group: Human-Like
Stats: 88/118/90/70/80/42 (Averaged HP)
Type: Fighting/Fairy
New Moves: Play Rough, Spirit Break, Fire Punch, Thunder Punch, Thunder Wave
Abilities: Prankster / Technician
Dex Entry: imagine grapploct but instead of tentacles it's just hair
Competitive Use: Grapploct-Hairy is an effective stallbreaker due to Octolock, trapping walls and then using Substitute and Taunt to prevent the opponent from using status or recovery. Its STABs are handy for hitting Dark-types who would be immune to its status moves, but other than that it struggles against offensive mons.

Abilities: Fluffy / Sand Stream / Unnerve

Competitive Use: Somewhat of a glass cannon with very strong STAB option when it has Skill Link. I suppose you can also use it for a fast setter of Grassy Surge

Pokemon Name: Machamp-Lucha
Egg Group: Human-Like
Stats: 90/130/80/65/85/86 (Averaged Speed) BST: 536
Type: Fighting/Flying
New Moves: High Jump Kick, Brave Bird, Swords Dance, Defog
Abilities: Guts / No Guard (Mold Breaker)
Height: 1.6m
Weight: 21.5Kg
Dex Entry: After being outmuscled by the other heavyweights, this Pokemon has found home to a new weight class where it shined: the Cruiserweight Division.
Competitive Use: Machamp-Lucha stands out from its peers with its combination of No Guard and High Jump Kick, allowing it to spam a 130BP STAB move without worries outside of Ghost-types and Protect. Stone Edge also benefits from No Guard, hitting its Flying-type checks while STAB Brave Bird offers nice neutral coverage. 86 Speed allows it to outspeed many Pokemon that classic Machamp wouldn't have. It could also attempt to set-up with Swords Dance or provide offensive support with Knock Off and Defog.

I feel like this one overlaps too much with vanilla Ferrothorn. Maybe it doesn't directly outclass it per se, but it could still cause issues due to greater utility and Regenerator.

We just got a Grapploct variant. There's no rules against subbing another one, just making sure you're aware.

We just got a Grapploct variant. There's no rules against subbing another one, just making sure you're aware.
Removed Stealth Rock and made Anticipation its hidden ability so Ferrothorn still gets Iron Barbs and better raw stats as its advantage.

I'm presuming Post-Home things are allowed for this. I'll update these slightly if it turns out otherwise.

(Since Gourgeist has multiple forms, I went with making only Super for the purposes of not making things complex and needing to post four stats for one sub. Not sure if that'd be cheating or not if I made stats for all its forms in a variant, anyways.)
Pokemon Name: Gourgeist-Streamline
Egg Group: Amorphus
Stats:
85 HP / 100 Atk / 122 Def / 58 Sp. Atk / 75 Sp. Def / 98 Speed (Avg.) (BST: 538)
Type:
Dragon / Grass
New Moves:
Dragon Dance, U-Turn, Dragon Claw, Sucker Punch, Acrobatics
Abilities:
Infiltrator / Frisk (Insomnia)
Height:
Unchanged
Weight:
Unchanged
Dex Entry:
Careful care in raising Supersized Gourgeist have made it more agile, able to sneak places much more quickly for its giant size.
Competitive Use:
Gourgeist-Streamline is a fairly potent Dragon Dance setup sweeper if it can come in against something that's a physical hitter or a wall. Some extra coverage is also added to allow it pivot potential, an attack for the new STAB, and an alternate priority.
Is it Overpowered?: It's definitely got a number of weaknesses, so I'd say it's not all that overpowered. 100 Attack and 98 Speed are both only "good" at best before it sets up, and it's got an incredibly glaring weakness to Ice, even if Ice Shard still targets its physical defense.

Pokemon Name: Vespiquen-Terra
Egg Group: Bug
Stats:
70 HP / 80 Atk / 102 Def / 80 Sp. Atk / 102 Sp. Def / 67 Spd (Avg.) (BST: 501)
Type:
Bug / Ground
New Moves:
Swords Dance, Knock Off, Earthquake, Rock Polish, Stone Edge
Abilities:
Pressure (Poison Heal)
Height:
Unchanged
Weight:
Unchanged
Dex Entry:
Rather than fly around, this variant of Vespiquen makes its hives in the ground. It still has its wings, but only uses them to extend the airtime of its jumps to get around.
Competitive Use:
Vespiquen-Terra can run a lot of potential things due to its relatively even (albeit low) statline. It can even bulkier set than it usually does due to its significantly improved typing and ability, while still having Roost for bigger heals. It can set up for a decently strong physical or mixed attacker via Swords Dance or Rock Polish. It can be a supporter with Defog and Knock Off for item and hazard control. Or it can run some other hodgepodge mix of those that I'm not thinking of.
Is it Overpowered?: It's not overpowered at all. Aside from its good defenses, its stats are pretty mediocre all around, and being burned immediately cripples it for the remainder of the battle since it tanks its already nearly-passive offenses and stops it from using Poison Heal unless it's cured by Heal Bell or the like. Which it can technically do on its own since Vespiquen gets Aromatherapy, but that's also eating a moveslot.

Wait before voting starts, I wanna throw my hat into this ring with a submission

Pokemon Name: Qwilfish-Streamlined (Qwilfish + Barraskewda)
Egg Group: Water 2
Stats: 65/95/85/55/55/109(Avg)
Type: Water/Poison
New Moves:
Psychic Fangs, Ice Fang, Close Combat, Crunch, Drill Run
Abilities: Poison Point/Swift Swim/Intimidate
Dex Entry:
Due to the rough seas of the galar region Qwilfish had to become faster to better handle them. Thus leading to some of them breading with Barraskewda for a sleeker streamlined form.
Competitive Use: The main thing Qwilfish needs is more speed, it now has more speed. Suddenly Qwilfish becomes a pretty good lead with it being able to set up hazards, poison the opponent, lower the attack, paralyze the opponent, and using destiny bond when it becomes low on health. Of course it can also counter other leads with taunt and thanks to its wider coverage you can slap a band on this sucker to possibly sweep.

Pokemon Name: Drampa-Regal (Drampa + King)
Egg Group: Monster
Stats:
78/60/85/135/100(avg)/36
Type:Water/Dragon
New Moves:Slack Off, Power Gem, Psyshock, Psychic, Scald
Abilities:Beserk/Sap Sipper/Regenerator
Dex Entry:After a Shellder bit the head of a Drampa who's father was a slowking, it triggered something within it. The aquatic knowledge suddenly turned Drampa into a regal old dragon. It is referred as The King of the Seas.
Competitive Use: Here we have a good special wall and a great abuser of assault vest. With the water/dragon typing it only has to worry about other dragons and fairies making it more viable in the OU meta game.

Pokemon Name:Perrserker-Warrior (Perrserker + Chesnaught)
Egg Group:Field
Stats:70/110/111(avg)/50/60/50
Type:Steel/Fighting
New Moves:Spiky Shield/Bulk Up/Pain Split/Hammer Arm/Drain Punch
Abilities:Tough Claws/Bulletproof/Steely Spirit
Dex Entry: When Perrserker invaded Kalos it took a liking to Chesnaught's armor. From there Perrserker's trainers would use this new found fascination to breed them thus resulting in bigger bulkier Perrserkers.
Competitive Use: A nice physical tank with a method of recovery thanks to pain split. However this thing isn't OP as pain split is its only method of reliable recovery and its special defense of 60 doesn't help it.

That's more than five moves, DG. You would want to remove until there's five left if you don't want it to be vetoed.
