What is your favorite Starter?

What is your absolutely favorite starter?
I've like all grass starter actually because grass types is always my favorite type, but my absolutely favorite of all is Meganium its cute, storng and unik supportmoves.
 
Favorite starter as in what we want to start the battle with? Or you mean Bulbasaur, Torchic, etc. In battle my favorite starter is Choice Scarf Typhlosion. My favorite starter nromally is Charizard.
 
If you mean out of the starters in the games, then Charmander and the Fire-Types are the ones I always pick. But for battles:

At the moment I'm loving Typhlosion, but in D/P I've only actually built 2 teams so far. Salamence and Typhlosion have been my openers and I've only lost 1 match. So I've not seen much reason to change yet, I just got bored of a team so I changed it and this team is also fairing just as well, if not better.

I'll probably start exploring more openers and different teams after I get 50~ wins or lose a few more matches.
 
Charizard all. the. way.

I haven't gotten a good battling 'zard yet (stupid IVs, >.<), but all of my in-game 'zards have been nothing but awesome. I also generally like the Fire Starters over the other lines, although Meganium and Sceptile were awesome for me in their respective games....

Fools people into thinking that you have a RD team, and also makes them switch to Blissey to avoid the "inevitable" Draco Meteor and RD-boosted Surf. Semi-automatic free DD.

In-game starter? Espeon. Duh, in XD, you fool.
 
Venusaur. I like how it does multiple roles. Also, Blastoise is cool for Rapid Spin and stuff, and Sceptile is also great because of Leech Seed and hability to hit hard with Special or Non-Special attacks.

All the starters are pretty cool . . . with the exception of infernape . . . I just don't like him for some reason as awesome as he is . . .

I think in terms of design I like Torterra the best. Charizard is definitely badass though . . . Movie 3 = <3

Movie 3 isn't that the movie which had Entei in it if so I don't really remember Charizard in that movie oh well......

Sadly I'm still a newcomer to the competitive D/P battling/breeding thing, so I'm afraid none of my offers would be enough for a "fair" trade, :/ I know everyone has to start somewhere, but I still feel bad for trading for stuff people have obviously worked hard for for my newbish breeding attempts....
 
In general, Venusaur, my first starter. =) It and Mewtwo are the two Pokemon I like better than P2. :D

In metagame, Blastoise. Haze and Rapid Spin annoy the opponent to no end, and has stopped many a BL Nasty Plotter (read: Ninetales and Houndoom) as well as other things. It's one of the most useful Pokemon I have ever used.
 
three is just no way this thread is going to result in any worthwhile competitive discussion, sorry
