Imposter allows Wobbuffet to transform into a bulkier version of the opposing Pokemon, allowing it to blanket check most Pokemon. Imposter also lets Wobbuffet copy the foe's stat changes and, when combined with Choice Scarf to avoid Speed ties, allows Wobbuffet to also check most setup sweepers. As a result, Imposter Wobbuffet pressures teambuilding, as teams must carry checks to their own Pokemon to prevent Imposter from being threatening and possibly counter sweeping. Additionally, this ability allows Wobbuffet to easily scout opposing movesets by switching in, which is valuable because movesets can be very unpredictable. Wobbuffet's scouting capability is enhanced by equipping it with Shed Shell to ignore trapping moves like Anchor Shot from Pokemon such as Melmetal and Zamazenta-C, as otherwise, Wobbuffet can be trapped and PP stalled. There are very few times where Wobbuffet will not be transformed, and the moves listed are for these rare occasions. Whirlwind phazes Pokemon behind a Substitute, which blocks Imposter from activating. Recover keeps Wobbuffet's HP high should it be chipped during the game and also allows it to Imposter-proof certain offensive Pokemon such as Sheer Force Mewtwo. Teleport allows Wobbuffet to pivot out of poor matchups and gain momentum. Trick can get rid of Choice Scarf in games where the item is unneeded, while Final Gambit allows Wobbuffet to exchange itself with an opposing Pokemon when Wobbuffet is no longer needed. Metal Burst can be used without Choice Scarf to reduce Wobbuffet's passivity by retaliating with large amounts of damage thanks to Wobbuffet's high HP stat.

Wobbuffet is capable of fitting on a large number of teams thanks to the support it brings to them by scouting sets and blanket checking offensive Pokemon. Wallbreakers like Zeraora and Galarian Darmanitan-Z appreciate Wobbuffet checking setup sweepers and Pokemon like Zacian-C that outspeed and KO them. Offensive teams, in general, like Wobbuffet blanket checking threatening setup sweepers without forcing them to resort to passive Prankster users. Defensive Pokemon such as Melmetal, Eternatus, and Toxapex enjoy Wobbuffet scouting offensive Pokemon's sets to avoid being hit by unexpected coverage moves. Wobbuffet appreciates slow pivots such as Melmetal and Teleport Eternatus to safely switch in and scout movesets without taking excessive damage or being inflicted by status conditions. It also appreciates entry hazard removal to avoid being chipped every time it switches in. Examples of this include Defog Melmetal and Refrigerate Rapid Spin Kyurem-B. Wobbuffet hates Knock Off, as it requires Choice Scarf to reliably check offensive threats and Shed Shell to scout and switch in against defensive Pokemon, so Knock Off absorbers like Zacian-C, Poison Heal Zacian, Zamazenta, and Zekrom are helpful. Due to the lack of Toxic Orb, Wobbuffet can struggle against Poison Heal attackers including Mewtwo, Zekrom, and Zamazenta, so checks to them like Umbreon and Eternatus are appreciated, and these partners can also absorb status moves. Wobbuffet can be paired with some offensive Pokemon it can Imposter-proof such as Zamazenta and Sheer Force Mewtwo to compress roles.

wobb is a difficult and weird analysis that needs to be approached a bit differently to other mons. i think theres some structural issues here that need to be addressed before i can give a qc check

i think atm this focuses far too much on the specifics of the set (don't really want more than a couple of sentences on the moves bc they almost never matter) and not enough on what wobb actually does and why youd want to run it. should talk more about how it blanket checks a ton of offensive mons (particularly setup sweepers), how it forces opponents to imposter proof and restricts their options if their defensive improof is weakened or dead, how it heals on/pp stalls bulky stuff (especially if its shed shell), and the value of scouting sets in a meta where mons can run anything

also make sure to consider your audience when youre writing. dont just drop terms like 'improof' without explaining them, the people reading these wont necessarily be super familiar with the bh metagame or its lingo. same goes for when youre talking about trapping moves, dont assume that they know that its common for bulky mons to run anchor shot to trap and pp stall imposter. in the second paragraph instead of just saying dragapult, specify multi-attack dragapult.

when discussing specific stuff to pair with wobb, i think you could focus more on what support wobb offers to teams rather than the support it requires, because it really doesnt need much (you need checks to dragapult, ph, dgz anyway, that's not really support that wobb needs). talk about how it's good at patching holes on more offensive teams or teams weak to setup by blanket checking offensive threats, and how bulkier teams appreciate its scouting ability so that they can more easily play around the opponent's threats.

some notes on the set: i think +speed is way better than -speed on this, the fast final gambit seems a lot more important than the slow pivot especially considering that this should generally be running teleport anyway. i think lefties is pretty marginal, you could briefly mention it but i wouldnt slash it on the set, its a lot worse than scarf and shed shell.

implement all this and ill look over it again for the check

talk about switchins to knock off as teammates
talking about prankster pkmn to beat some ph sweepers could be nice, wobb cant always beat those
