Prankster Snorlax acts as a blanket check to most setup sweepers due to Prankster Haze removing stat boosts before most Pokemon can attack. Snorlax's great special bulk also allows it to be a decent check to some special attackers, such as Lunala, Mewtwo, and Eternatus. However, because of Snorlax's low Defense, it cannot consistently wall most physical attackers, most importantly Zekrom, and is 2HKOed by Choice Specs Lunala's Psystrike. Importantly, Metal Burst is chosen as this set's way to deal damage, because Snorlax's high HP stat means most Pokemon will be OHKOed if they deal significant damage to Snorlax on the turn it is used. Will-O-Wisp can be used instead in order to cripple physical attackers that often switch into it Snorlax; however, it makes Snorlax even more passive. Prankster-boosted Recover can be used to PP stall attacking moves with 8 PP such as Photon Geyser and Sunsteel Strike. This makes Snorlax very difficult to wear down, as even if it is at low health, with a free switch into the aforementioned special attackers, it can heal to half of its health easily. This is especially relevant because using Metal Burst and U-turn means Snorlax will be taking a lot of hits. U-turn is chosen as the fourth move to gain momentum and to escape the trapping move Anchor Shot. Slow pivoting is also very useful to give free switches to frail offensive Pokemon such as Galarian Darmanitan-Z. However, due to Prankster's versatility, this move can be swapped with any support move your team needs, whether it is Glare, an entry hazard, or entry hazard control such as Court Change. Leftovers is usually preferred for passive recovery; however, Safety Goggles can be run in order to protect Snorlax from Spore. Minimum Speed EVs and IVs and a negative Speed nature are used to make Snorlax's U-turn and Metal Burst go last more often. A positive Special Defense nature is used to avoid the 2HKO from Choice Specs Adaptability Lunala's Photon Geyser with Leftovers recovery and to take minimum damage from the special attackers Snorlax will usually be switching into.

Teammates that can switch into common physical attackers in the metagame like Galarian Darmanitan-Z and Zacian-C are appreciated. Primordial Sea or Flash Fire Melmetal and Ferrothorn are good choices for this role. A Zamazenta check is also appreciated; good options for this are Aegislash and defensive Eternatus. Lunala that runs Photon Geyser instead of Psystrike can be a great teammate for Snorlax, as Snorlax can wall Lunala's Imposter, and Lunala appreciates the free switches that Snorlax sometimes provides with U-turn. A Zekrom check is an important teammate for Snorlax, as it is one of the sweepers Snorlax cannot wall. Primordial Sea or Flash Fire Ferrothorn is a great option, as it also counters other Snorlax checks mentioned above. Also, a secondary answer to setup sweepers, such as Imposter, is helpful so Snorlax is not overwhelmed.

Prankster Snorlax acts as a blanket check to most set up sweepers due to Prankster Haze removing stat boosts before most Pokemon can attack. Snorlax’s great special bulk also allows it to be a decent check to some special attackers, such as Lunala, Necrozma-DW, and Eternatus. However, because of Snorlax’s weak Defense, it cannot consistently wall most physical attackers, and is 2HKOed by Choice Specs Lunala’s Psystrike. Metal Burst is chosen as the set’s way to deal damage, because Snorlax’s high HP stat means most Pokemon will be OHKOed if they deal significant damage on the turn it is used. Priority Recover can be used to PP stall attacking moves with 8 PP such as Photon Geyser and Sunsteel Strike. Going first also means that Fishious Rend and Bolt Beak will only have 85 Base Power, as opposed to 170. prankster recover also makes u rly hard to wear down bc even if ur very low if you get in safely you can heal up. this is super relevant when youre running metal burst/uturn U-turn is chosen as the 4th move to gain momentum when your opponent switches, and to escape the trapping moves Anchor Shot and Octolock the slow pivot is good for getting frail stuff in safely. make some mention here of prankster's versatility: this can easily fit stuff like glare, hazards, court change if the team needs it to Leftovers are usually preferred as an item for passive recovery, however Safety Goggles can be run in order to protect from Spore. Minimum Speed EVs, IVs, and a negative Speed nature are used to make Snorlax’s U-turn and Metal Burst move last more often. why +spdef?

Teammates that can switch in to common physical attackers in the tier like Galarian Darmanitan-Zen and Zacian-C are appreciated. Primordial Sea Melmetal and Ferrothorn are usually the best option for this 'usually the best option' is overly strong language i think, there are lots of good options. just say that these mons are a good choice. A Zamazenta check, such as Aegislash or Zacian, is also appreciated. Lunala that runs Photon Geyser instead of Psystrike can be a great teammate for Snorlax as it can wall Lunala's Imposter, and Lunala appreciates the free switches that Snorlax sometimes provides.

Prankster Snorlax acts as a blanket check to most set up sweepers due to Prankster Haze removing stat boosts before most Pokemon can attack. Snorlax’s great special bulk also allows it to be a decent check to some special attackers, such as Lunala, Necrozma-DW nala and ndw are like basically the same pokemon, maybe put mewtwo here instead?, and Eternatus. However, because of Snorlax’s weak Defense, it cannot consistently wall most physical attackers zekrom imo is quite important to note here bc you mention in the first sentence that lax can deal w/ most setup sweepers, and this is a good opportunity to bring up smth which it can't deal with, and is 2HKOed by Choice Specs Lunala’s Psystrike. Metal Burst is chosen as the set’s way to deal damage, because Snorlax’s high HP stat means most Pokemon will be OHKOed if they deal significant damage on the turn it is used. This makes Snorlax very difficult to wear down as even if it is at low health, with a free switch it can heal to half health easily. what are some examples on the things that it can heal on? saying the aforementioned special attackers should be fine This is especially relevant because using Metal Burst and U-turn means Snorlax will be taking a lot of hits. Going first also means that Fishious Rend and Bolt Beak will only have 85 Base Power, as opposed to 170. dont bring this up, or bring it up and follow it up with how it can be rly potent alongside wisp bc the next turn itll be 170 anyway U-turn is chosen as the 4th move to gain momentum when your opponent switches only when our opp switches?, and to escape the trapping moves Anchor Shot and Octolock. The slow pivot is also very useful to give free switches to frail offensive Pokemon such as Galarian Darmanitan-Zen. However, due to Prankster’s versatility, this moves, to can be any support move you team needs i dont understand what this means, whether it is Glare, hazards, hazard control such as Court Change, or Heal Bell is heal bell really worth a mention here? it's not nearly as good as the other moves. also with this in mind dual status becomes a possible set which is like ehhhhhh, and imposter is able to heal the burns you give if you have heal bell on this set. Leftovers are usually preferred as an item for passive recovery, however Safety Goggles can be run in order to protect from Spore. Hey, this doesn't count as an official GP check so it should still be 0/1 (AMGP stands for "amateur GP"). Sorry for any misunderstanding
