Update for /itemsearch

pisxel

when my star shines, will you think of me? ☆
Most of the time, the /(dex/move/etc)search commands are fantastic and are easy to understand and allow the user to find the information they're looking for, such as moves that have the ability to flinch the target, Pokemon that have Intimidate, and many other examples that would apply here as well. The only issue is, is that /is makes it difficult to find what you're looking for, unless you're looking for an item with a certain Fling behavior or Natural Gift behavior. While some items such as berries are easy to find, others are fairly difficult to find, especially because of the whole "Command accepts natural language" thing. Here's a list of commands that I think would be easy to understand for the average user.

Command List

Thank you :)

Thank you :)

BTW: I'd be fine with providing a list of items that correspond to each command given in the link provided.
Also sorry about having to use pokepast.es, complicated thing with my computer that doesn't allow pastebin to load properly, so it may look off.

I'm not opposed to an item search improvement though it would require some sort of flag system on items probably followed by making is more ds like.

Ah okay, I assume that means that means that it's declined for now then, since I'm sure it'd take a lot of work. Either way, thank you for reviewing :)

No actually, most suggestions take work so thats not an issue. I just don't have time to hash this out before approving.

i tried to make a set of flags that parallels what we have for /ms as closely as possible, if such would be of help

(Search categories arecould be: gen, type boosted, categoryboosted, statboosted (accuracy and evasion included))

heal: Effect blocked by Heal Block. (leftovers, figyberry, berryjuice...)

consume: Used up after use. (powerherb, blunderpolicy, ejectbutton...)

fling: Possesses a non-outclassed fling power and/or effect. (ironball, (foo)fossil, rarebone, hardstone, flameorb, toxicorb, lightball, kingsrock, mentalherb, poisonbarb, whiteherb, razorfang, dreadplate)

extend: Extends a field condition. (lightclay, damprock, smoothrock, heatrock, icyrock, terrainextender)

proc: Activates when the user summons or is affected by a move, ability, or field condition satisfying a certain condition. (blunderpolicy, weaknesspolicy, adrenalineorb, absorbbulb, cellbattery, snowball, luminousmoss, rockyhelmet, enigmaberry, occa berry and equivalents, seeds, keeberry, marangaberry, roomservice, throatspray, normalgem, ejectbutton, redcard, jabocaberry, rowapberry)

pinch: Activates when the user has sufficiently low HP or PP. (figyberry, etc., liechiberry, etc., leppaberry, custapberry, lansatberry, sitrusberry)

response (couldnt come up with a good name): Activates when the user is afflicted with a disadvantage. (cheriberry, etc., lumberry, ejectpack, destinyknot)

restrict: Restricts what moves the user may use. (choiceband, choicescarf, choicespecs, assaultvest)

klutzproof: Not affected in-battle by the ability Klutz. (machobrace, poweranklet, powerband, powerbelt, powerbracer, powerlens, powerweight)

berry: Capable of interacting with Harvest. (just guess what sorts of items would end up here)

harm: More likely than not to inconvenience their holder. (flameorb, toxicorb, laggingtail, fullincense, blacksludge, ringtarget, stickybarb, machobrace, poweranklet, powerband, powerbelt, powerbracer, powerlens, powerweight, choiceband, choicescarf, choicespecs, assaultvest)

cover: Nullifies the effects of certain moves, abilities, or field conditions. (safetygoggles, utilityumbrella, heavydutyboots, shedshell, protectivepads, airballoon)

it'd be cool if we could have a "move boosted" comparable to "type boosted", like if you do /ms wrap itd show moves that specifically interact with the use of wrap (binding band / grip claw), but this might not be feasible.

similarly if you could do /is gengar and get all items specific to gengar (gengarite) that'd be similarly neat

E: oh true, forgot we had that, even if in a slightly more rough form

You can already do /is (pokemon), but imo there should be something more advanced. /is gengar only works because of the Common Language thing with /is, but yeah I agree with your response.

Edit: sorry, not agreed with your response lol, poor wording. Meant to say that I definitely thought those flags were better than some that I listed.
