Ditto's ability to copy the foe's stat changes and outspeed it with the use of Choice Scarf makes it a very capable revenge killer, provided the foe hasn't set up a Substitute. Importantly, it is also able to reverse trap and eliminate opposing Dugtrio. There are essentially no limits to what Ditto can do, another example being its ability to come in on Toxapex to copy Regenerator and regain some health. It is most commonly used on bulky teams featuring a lot of passive Pokemon, as Ditto prevents opposing setup Pokemon such as Hydreigon, Excadrill, and Cloyster from setting up due to the fear of being revenge killed or even reverse swept. Because of this, it is wise to avoid having Ditto's Choice Scarf removed, since this heavily impedes its ability to reliably revenge kill, though losing the Choice lock is oftentimes favorable in matchups against opposing bulky teams. Ditto appreciates teammates like Corviknight and Mandibuzz with the ability to bring it in safely via a slow U-turn, as this circumvents the risk of Ditto directly switching into threatening attacks like Draco Meteor from Hydreigon and Earthquake from Excadrill.

Hydreigon's not really a setup sweeper. Use something like setup-reliant Pokemon instead. Because of this it is wise to avoid having Ditto's Choice Scarf removed since this heavily impedes its ability to reliably revenge kill. You may want to mention that losing your Choice Scarf is oftentimes favorable in matchups agains topposing bulky balance teams. It is most commonly used on bulky balance I have absolutely never heard of this as an archetype. it's either balance or bulky offense from my experience. plus, from the rest of this description of the archetype, it sounds more like you're talking about semistall builds teams featuring a lot of passive Pokemon as the presence of Ditto discourages setup-reliant Pokemon, such as Hydreigon, Excadrill, and Cloyster, from setting up due to fear of being revenge killed or even reverse swept, while these could pose significant threats otherwise. in general though this sentence is a bit of a mess.
