[SET COMMENTS]

Thanks to its good bulk and access to various utility options, Kommo-o makes for a great defensive pivot in the metagame. It checks many physical threats like Excadrill, non-Play Rough Zeraora, Terrakion, and Cinderace and acts as a good Stealth Rock setter, preventing popular Defog users like Corviknight and Mandibuzz from clearing it. Earthquake strikes Toxapex and Aegislash and also hits Dragapult neutrally. The last moveslot is pretty flexible. Iron Defense lets Kommo-o overwhelm Corviknight and boosts Body Press's damage output; Taunt shuts down passive Pokemon like Toxapex and prevents the likes of Corviknight and Mandibuzz from using Defog; and Protect grants Kommo-o a free turn of Leftovers recovery and scouts foes' moves. Dragon Tail is also an option here; it is useful against sun teams and can deal with the likes of incoming Dragapult. Bulletproof gives Kommo-o an immunity to moves like Aegislash's and Gengar's Shadow Ball. 56 Speed EVs allow Kommo-o to outpace Aegislash, but 136 EVs should be run if Kommo-o is your only answer to Bisharp. Kommo-o is very prone to being worn down, so avoid letting it be hit by Knock Off and afflicted with status at all costs.

Kommo-o fits on balanced teams that require a Stealth Rock setter and a strong check to the likes of Terrakion, Aegislash, Excadrill, and Bisharp. Fairy-type checks such as Corviknight, Ferrothorn, and Rotom-H are necessary alongside Kommo-o due to its huge vulnerability to them. Wish support from Clefable is very appreciated by Kommo-o, since it gets worn down rather quickly. Togekiss is one of the best Pokemon to take advantage of Kommo-o, so strong answers to it like Rotom-H and Zeraora are needed.

I know this is WIP, but Clangorous Soul is not worth an analysis FYI.

Thunder Punch is not good enough to be slashed.

Thanks to its good bulk and access to various utility options, Kommo-o makes for a great defensive pivot in the metagame. It deals with many physical threats like Excadrill, non-Play Rough Zeraora, and Terrakion as well as acts as a good Stealth Rock setter, being capable of keeping it up against popular Defog users like Corviknight and Mandibuzz. It's definitely worth highlighting that Kommo-o can soft check Dracovish. Earthquake is generally preferred, as strikes Toxapex and Aegislash and also hits Dragapult neutrally, but Thunder Punch hits Corviknight while still damaging Toxapex. Corviknight's not really an important target; luring Pelipper and Mantine's why you'd run Thunder Punch. The last moveslot is pretty flexible. Iron Defense lets Kommo-o overwhelm Corviknight and boosts Body Press's damage output, Taunt shuts down passive Pokemon like Ferrothorn and Toxapex, and Protect grants Kommo-o a free turn of Leftovers recovery as well as scouts out the opposition. It's also worth noting that Taunt shuts down Defoggers like Corviknight and Mandibuzz. Dragon Tail definitely needs to be mentioned as an option; it's quite useful against sun teams and can mess with Pokemon like Dragapult as well. Bulletproof is the ability of choice because it gives Kommo-o immunity to moves like Ferrothorn's Gyro Ball and Aegislash and Gengar's Shadow Ball. Gyro Ball Ferrothorn's not really relevant. 56 Speed EVs allow Kommo-o to outpace Aegislash. Mention that you should run 136 Speed EVs if Kommo-o is your sole Bisharp check. Kommo-o is very prone to wearing down, so avoid it being hit by Knock Off and status at all costs.

Hazard control from Pokemon like Corviknight and Excadrill also helps Kommo-o stay healthy longer. This is filler. I'd also like to see a sentence attributed to Togekiss, as it's easily one of the best Pokemon that can take advantage of Kommo-o.

Thanks to its good bulk and access to various utility options, Kommo-o makes for a great defensive pivot in the metagame. It checks many physical threats like Excadrill, non-Play Rough Zeraora, Terrakion, and Dracovish idk how i feel about this since while it does resist rend it's still quite easily punished by legit any other move, perhaps mention something like cinderace as well as acts as a good Stealth Rock setter, being capable of keeping it up against popular Defog users like Corviknight and Mandibuzz. Earthquake is generally preferred, as strikes Toxapex and Aegislash and also hits Dragapult neutrally, but Thunder Punch lures and hits Pelipper and Mantine while still damaging Toxapex. Remove the thunder punch mentions! The last moveslot is pretty flexible. Iron Defense lets Kommo-o overwhelm Corviknight and boosts Body Press's damage output, Taunt shuts down passive Pokemon like Ferrothorn I don't get this Ferrothorn mention; why would it stay in on a Kommo-o and why would you taunt it rather than doing legit anything else to it; mention something like and Toxapex as well as prevents the likes of Corviknight and Mandibuzz from using Defog, and Protect grants Kommo-o a free turn of Leftovers recovery as well as scouts out the opposition what in particular are you scouting for?. Dragon Tail is also an option here: it is useful against sun teams and can seal with the likes of incoming Dragapult Bulletproof is the ability of choice because it gives Kommo-o immunity to moves like Aegislash's and Gengar's Shadow Ball. 56 Speed EVs allow Kommo-o to outpace Aegislash, but 136 EVs should be run if Kommo-o is your only answer to Bisharp.
