Goodra's main niche in RU is that of a specially oriented wallbreaker. It can utilize its excellent special bulk and set of resistances to switch into common threats such as Salazzle, Vileplume, Charizard, and Heliolisk, and then proceed to dent the opposing team using its good power and excellent coverage. Goodra's coverage is one of its main draws; it becomes difficult to switch into thanks to it having moves that can break through any switch-in, allowing Goodra to become a Pokemon that can punch several holes in the opposing team. Fire Blast covers Steel-types such as Klefki, Copperajah, and Bronzong, hitting all of them hard should they switch in. Thunderbolt allows Goodra to OHKO Mantine and muscle through Vaporeon and Milotic. Sludge Bomb serves mainly to cover Gardevoir and Silvally-Fairy, while Hydro Pump dents Rhyperior and Gigalith. A Timid nature can be chosen over Modest to let Goodra outspeed Vanilluxe; however, Modest is usually the preferred alternative for the slight boost in power, as the Pokemon Goodra would Speed tie with, such as Gardevoir, Gallade, and Passimian, tend to force it out regardless. Sap Sipper is the preferred ability, as it allows Goodra to potentially switch into Vileplume and deny it recovery from Strength Sap. However, Gooey can be a possible alternative to allow Goodra to slow down faster physical attackers such as Virizion if necessary.

Goodra appreciates entry hazard removal in order to help it repeatedly switch into threats such as Salazzle, Heliolisk, and Vileplume, as it is prone to being worn down over the course of the match, so Dhelmise and Mantine make good teammates for this role. Klefki can function as an emergency check to Gardevoir and support Goodra through the use of Spikes and Thunder Wave, allowing Goodra to break through faster Pokemon more effectively. Galarian Slowbro is a good teammate that can pivot into threats such as Virizion and Silvally-Fairy that can force Goodra out. Alternatively, Inteleon and Barraskewda can lure in bulky Water-types such as Milotic and then allow Goodra in through U-turn or Flip Turn; the latter can also break past Copperajah with Close Combat. Golisopod can also revenge kill faster Pokemon such as Tauros and Heliolisk. Additionally, Toxicroak and Scrafty can set up on and break past Umbreon and Porygon2, as well as sweeping efficiently after Goodra has weakened the opposing team. Finally, fast sweepers such as Gardevoir and Virizion appreciate Goodra's ability to weaken or break through Steel-types and Dragalge, while they can weaken Steel-types in turn for Goodra to more easily spam Draco Meteor.

[SET COMMENTS]
Goodra can also act as a revenge killer with a Choice Scarf, trading raw power in favor of extra Speed. With its good Speed tier, Goodra can outpace most offensive Pokemon such as Barraskewda and Inteleon with a Choice Scarf equipped, and then proceed to revenge kill them with a decently strong Draco Meteor or one of its coverage options. Goodra notably stands out from other revenge killers with its raw special bulk and set of resistances, allowing it to switch into many powerful special attackers easily. Fire Blast once again functions as coverage for Steel-types, namely Steelix and Escavalier. Thunderbolt, in addition to hitting Mantine, provides Goodra with a consistent way to hit Inteleon and Sigilyph. Lastly, Sludge Bomb does heavy damage to Gardevoir and Silvally-Fairy, while Hydro Pump additionally serves as coverage for Rhyperior and Arcanine. Sap Sipper is the preferable ability to grant Goodra an immunity to Vileplume's Strength Sap if necessary.

Goodra appreciates entry hazard support from Pokemon such as Klefki and Rhyperior to help it wear down Pokemon it cannot KO as easily, and it also helps with Goodra's ability to force switches. Powerful wallbreakers such as Golurk and Bewear muscle through bulkier, slower Pokemon that Goodra cannot break through such as Bronzong and Milotic, while Goodra can deal with faster Pokemon such as Sigilyph and Espeon that can potentially revenge kill them. Centiskorch makes a good teammate for Goodra, since it can break past Bronzong, a threat that this Goodra set otherwise struggles with, while Goodra can also handle Inteleon for it in return. Additionally, good sweepers such as Inteleon can also sweep through teams after Goodra has revenge killed their checks. Sneasel and Sigilyph both appreciate Goodra's ability to revenge kill their checks such as Inteleon and Barraskewda. Sneasel can also threaten bulkier Pokemon such as Milotic and Bronzong with a Swords Dance-boosted Knock Off. Toxicroak and Scrafty can both deal with Umbreon and Porygon2 while appreciating Goodra's ability to revenge kill faster offensive Pokemon such as Sigilyph and Inteleon for them.

ScraftyIsTheBest I think you don't need to make CB a full set. I would recommend focusing on just Specs and Scarf (you can make the paragraphs for Scarf a little shorter, since it's pretty similar to Specs [which you describe right above] except faster and weaker)

Draco Meteor is Goodra's main STAB move, dealing severe damage to any offensive Pokemon that doesn't resist it; however, it is unable to break through specially bulky walls like Mantine, Milotic, and Umbreon. Fire Blast covers Steel-types such as Klefki, Copperajah, and Bronzong, hitting all of them hard should they switch in. Sludge Wave serves mainly to cover Gardevoir and Silvally-Fairy. Thunderbolt allows Goodra to break through Mantine [change to OHKO mantine + break through vapo/milo], while Hydro Pump dents Rhyperior and Gigalith.

Maximum Speed and Special Attack EVs allow Goodra to outspeed most slower Pokemon [can you provide a specific example justifying timid? ik you beat vanilluxe, cant think of anything more relevant for now]. Sap Sipper is the preferred ability as it allows Goodra to potentially switch into Vileplume. However, Gooey can be a possible alternative to allow Goodra to slow down faster physical attackers such as Virizion if necessary. Goodra appreciates entry hazard removal [why? im thinking 'to allow it to repeatedly switch into mons like salazzle, plume, ...'], as it can often be prone to being worn down over the course of the match due to its lack of recovery[feel like this is kind of clear already, it's a specs mon], so Dhelmise and Mantine make good teammates for this role. Dragalge makes an excellent wallbreaking partner with Goodra, as it can help Goodra break past some of its answers with its raw power, while Goodra's coverage allow it to break past Pokemon such as Steel-types and Mantine for Dragalge. Dragalge can also help Goodra into battle safely with a slow Flip Turn. [I feel like I would rarely if ever use dragalge + goodra due to the typing stack. something like gardevoir would be better here as a mon that appreciates Steel-types being weakened (and which can also weaken them for Goodra to spam draco easier] Klefki can function as an emergency check to Gardevoir, while it can support Goodra through the use of Spikes and Thunder Wave, allowing Goodra to break through faster Pokemon more effectively. Finally, fast sweepers that appreciate Goodra's wallbreaking capabilities, such as Virizion and Barraskewda, work well in tandem with Goodra. ScraftyIsTheBest Good overall, but a lot of minor changes to go over -- tag me when you're done and I'll check it out again.

Maybe Sludge Bomb > Wave due to the higher poison chance being better than 5 BP in many cases? Don't do this now though, I will wait for the next QC-er to weigh in on this.

I don't think you finished this sentence explaining why you prefer Modest over Timid on Specs. Fwiw, I'm fine with your choice of Modest > Timid on Specs. Also note that the things Timid speed-ties with (Pass, Gallade, Gardevoir) usually threaten Goodra out anyways, so it doesn't help you that much.

Goodra appreciates entry hazard removal in order to help it repeatedly switch into threats such as Salazzle, Heliolisk, and Vileplume, as it can often be prone to being worn down over the course of the match, so Dhelmise and Mantine make good teammates for this role. Make this its own paragraph - in the preview analysis format, teammates are the 2nd paragraph and set details (i.e. the sentences abt modest vs timid) are the 1st. Move everything before the first sentence of this quote up to the first paragraph.

Goodra appreciates entry hazard support from Pokemon such as Klefki and Rhyperior to help it wear down Pokemon it cannot KO more easily, and also helps in Goodra's ability to force switches. Powerful wallbreakers such as Golurk and Bewear muscle through bulkier, slower Pokemon that Goodra cannot break through, while Goodra can deal with faster Pokemon such as Sigilyph and Espeon that can potentially revenge kill them. Additionally, good sweepers such as Inteleon can also sweep through teams after Goodra has revenge killed their checks.

Again, this section is too short and should be expanded upon. Refer to my list earlier for more detail on this. Some other examples for this set include:
  • Pokemon that appreciate the likes of Barraskewda and Inteleon being checked, such as Sigilyph and Sneasel.
  • Since Goodra tends to struggle with mons like Bronzong and Snorlax, Pokemon that can deal with them like Centiskorch and Bewear are appreciated.

Goodra's main niche in RU is that of a specially oriented wallbreaker. It can utilize its excellent special bulk and set of resistances to switch into common threats such as Salazzle, Vileplume, Charizard, and Heliolisk, then proceed to dent the opposing team using its good power and excellent coverage. Goodra's coverage is one of its main draws: it becomes difficult to switch into thanks to it having moves that can break through any switch-in, allowing Goodra to become a Pokemon that can punch several holes in the opposing team. A Timid nature can be chosen over Modest to let Goodra outspeed Vanilluxe, however, Modest is usually the preferred alternative for the slight boost in power, as the Pokemon Goodra would speed tie with, such as Gardevoir, Gallade, and Passimian, tend to force Goodra out regardless. Sap Sipper is the preferred ability as it allows Goodra to potentially switch into Vileplume. Mention specifically how it denies Vileplume of its recovery. However, Gooey can be a possible alternative to allow Goodra to slow down faster physical attackers such as Virizion if necessary.

Goodra appreciates entry hazard removal in order to help it repeatedly switch into threats such as Salazzle, Heliolisk, and Vileplume, as it can often be prone to being worn down over the course of the match, so Dhelmise and Mantine make good teammates for this role. Klefki can function as an emergency check to Gardevoir, while it can support Goodra through the use of Spikes and Thunder Wave, allowing Goodra to break through faster Pokemon more effectively. Galarian Slowbro is a good teammate that can pivot into threats such as Virizion and Silvally-Fairy that can force Goodra out. Alternatively, Inteleon and Barraskewda can lure in bulky Water-types such as Milotic, then allow Goodra in through U-turn or Flip Turn, while the latter can break past Copperajah with Close Combat. Golisopod can also revenge kill faster Pokemon such as Tauros and Heliolisk. Additionally, Toxicroak and Scrafty can set up on and break past Umbreon and Porygon2, and can also sweep efficiently after Goodra has weakened the opposing team. Finally, fast sweepers such as Gardevoir and Virizion appreciate Goodra's ability to weak or break through Steel-types and Dragalge, while they can weaken Steel-types in turn for Goodra to more easily spam Draco Meteor.

Goodra can also act as a revenge killer with a Choice Scarf, trading raw power in favor of extra Speed. With its good Speed tier, Goodra can outpace most offensive Pokemon such as Barraskewda and Inteleon with a Choice Scarf equipped, and proceed to revenge kill them with a decently strong Draco Meteor or coverage options. Goodra notably stands out from other revenge killers with its raw special bulk and set of resistances, allowing it to switch into many powerful special attackers easily. Fire Blast once again functions as coverage for Steel-types, namely Steelix and Escavalier, Thunderbolt, in addition to hitting Mantine, provides Goodra with a consistent way to hit Inteleon and Sigilyph.

Additionally, good sweepers such as Inteleon can also sweep through teams after Goodra has revenge killed their checks. Sneasel and Sigilyph both appreciate Goodra's ability to revenge kill their checks such as Inteleon and Barraskewda. Mention how Sneasel can also threaten bulkier mons with Swords Dance, while Sigilyph can break through fatter mons like Bronzong and Steelix. Toxicroak and Scrafty can both deal with Umbreon and Porygon2 while they appreciate Goodra's ability to revenge kill faster offensive Pokemon such as Sigilyph and Inteleon.
