Thanks to Shell Smash, Cloyster can be a terrifying sweeper and wallbreaker for unprepared teams. Shell Smash is used to boost Cloyster's Attack and Speed, allowing it to outspeed the entire unboosted metagame. Icicle Spear is the STAB attack of choice that also has the added benefit of bypassing Mimikyu's Disguise. Rock Blast is another 125-Base Power attack that offers decent coverage against Water-types such as Rotom-W and Tentacruel while also being Cloyster's best option against Escavalier. Hydro Pump is Cloyster's best option against Fire-types such as Chandelure and Incineroar, should you opt to use Pin Missile, and it allows Cloyster to hit Steel-types such as Doublade and Cobalion. Pin Missile can be considered over Rock Blast however, as it's Cloyster's best option against Slowbro and Bronzong, two of its premier checks. Ice Shard can be used to pick off weakened threats such as Noivern, Flygon, and Roserade, but the lack of coverage leaves Cloyster walled by Cobalion and Bronzong. Naive and Jolly are the natures of choice, as the extra Speed allows Cloyster to get the jump on Choice Scarf Keldeo. If Ice Shard is used over Hydro Pump, a Jolly nature is preferred. King's Rock is the preferred item of choice, as both Icicle Spear and Rock Blast in conjunction with Skill Link have a 41% flinch rate, allowing Cloyster to potentially muscle through checks and counters, such as Keldeo and Slowbro. White Herb, however, does help prevent Cloyster from being revenge killed as easily by Pokemon like Lycanroc-D.

Cloyster is best suited for offense teams that can support it in the form of dual screens or entry hazards in order to pull off a sweep. Grimmsnarl is the best dual screens user in the metagame, which allows Cloyster to more safely set up with Shell Smash. Behind dual screens, Cloyster avoids the OHKO from Terrakion's Close Combat and Zarude's Power Whip. Offensive Spikes users such as Froslass and Roserade are great at getting up multiple layers of entry hazards, wearing down the opposing team, with the latter also providing Sleep Powder support, creating more setup opportunities for Cloyster. Cobalion is always OHKOed after two layers of Spikes by a +2 Hydro Pump, while three layers guarantee Doublade is always OHKOed by a +2 Hydro Pump. Krookodile and Cobalion are premier Stealth Rock users, both of which can also soften Pokemon that check Cloyster. Cobalion in particular can chip Doublade with Volt Switch, while Chople Berry variants can check Lycanroc-D. Pokemon that can match up well against Water-types such as Celebi and Rotom-C make for excellent partners. In addition to weakening shared checks such as Cobalion and Escavalier, Celebi can provide wallbreaking capabilities and check Keldeo reliably. Rotom-C is also capable of wallbreaking with Nasty Plot, making it easier for Cloyster to sweep. Noivern and Starmie can pressure physical walls such as Slowbro and Cobalion; Noivern also provides useful utility in Taunt, while Starmie can clear entry hazards. Setup sweepers such as Mimikyu, Lycanroc-D, and Terrakion share similar checks with Cloyster such as Slowbro and Cobalion, meaning they can wallbreak for Cloyster and vice versa, allowing the other to sweep. Doublade as a partner appreciates Rotom-W being weakened and can check Lycanroc-D.

Thanks to Shell Smash and the ability Skill Link, Move this mention of Skill Link to the next line where you are actually talking about skill link moves. Cloyster can be a terrifying sweeper and wallbreaker for unprepared teams. King's Rock is the preferred item of choice, as with it Icicle Spear and Rock Blast both have a 41% flinch rate, allowing Cloyster to potentially muscle through checks and counters, such as Keldeo and Slowbro. White herb however does help prevent Cloyster from being revenge killed as easily by Pokemon like Lycanroc-D. Shell Smash is used to boost Cloyster's Attack and Speed, allowing Cloyster to out speed the entire un-boosted metagame. Mention it being faster in your first line. You may as well say most of the boosted metagame because it is faster than every good Choice Scarf user in the tier. Icicle Spear is the STAB attack of choice, as Icicle Spear in conjunction with Skill Link gives Cloyster an effective base 125 STAB attack. You can mention how it can bypass Mimikyu Disguise. Rock Blast is another base 125 attack that offers decent coverage against Water and Ice-types, such as Rotom-W and Tentacruel, while also being Cloyster's best option against Escavalier. Pin Missile however should be considered over Rock Blast, as its Cloyster's best option against Slowbro and Slowking, two of the premier checks to Cloyster. Slowking is going to get an update to a more SpD variant now that Bro is here, so it's not that great of a Cloyster check other than fishing for a burn. If you want another example you can use Bronzong. You should state how it detriments its ability to deal with Fire-types as reliably due to the accuracy diff. Hydro Pump is an option which allows Cloyster to hit Steel-types, such as Doublade and Cobalion. Hydro Pump is also Cloyster's best option against Fire-types such as Chandelure and Incineroar should you opt to use Pin Missile. Move this point where I said to just above. Ice Shard however can be used to pick off weakened threats, such as Noivern, Flygon, and Zarude. Remove Zarude, the damage is really low from an unboosted Cloyster. Use something less bulky like Roserade. If Ice Shard is used over Hydro Pump, a Jolly nature is preferred. You should mention why a Naive/Jolly nature is preferred, Scarf Keldeo etc.

Cloyster is best suited on offense and hyper offense teams that can support Cloyster often needs support in the form of Dual Screens or multiple entry hazards on the field in order to pull off a sweep. Grimmsnarl is the best Dual Screen user in the metagame, which allows Cloyster to more safely pull off a Shell Smash. Run some calcs of some foes Cloyster can survive a hit from behind screens, which helps it beat them 1on1. Offensive Spikes users such as Froslass and Roserade are great at getting up multiple hazards, wearing down the opposing team. You should also mention how Roserade can provide Sleep Powder support, giving Cloyster more opportunities to set up. Pokemon that can match up well against Water-types, such as Celebi and Rotom-C make for excellent partners. Celebi can provide Stealth Rock and If I'm pairing Celebi with Cloyster it is probably never going to be to run a rock set, they are usually defensive, which doesn't usually run coverage to break the Water-types. wallbreaking capabilities, while Rotom-C provides momentum with Volt Switch, allowing Cloyster to switch in safely. Specify how Celebi can weaken their shared checks in Steel-types like Escav, Doublade, and Cobalion, which helps put them in range of Cloyster's attacks. You should also emphasize how Celebi checks Keldeo, something Rotom-C isn't doing reliably. Entry hazard removers such as Defog Noivern and Starmie can pressure physical walls such as Slowbro, and clear entry hazards to prevent Cloyster from being more easily KOed. Lastly, set up sweepers such as Mimiyku, Lycanroc-D, and Terrakion can wallbreak for Cloyster and vice versa, allowing the other to sweep. This is fine but mention some shared checks like Slowbro and Cobalion that they can overwhelm for one another.

Add a mention of Krookodile and Cobalion as SR setters. They do a good job pressuring most Steel-types in the tier.

White herb however does help prevent Cloyster from being revenge killed as easily by Pokemon like Lycanroc-D. item description should really be at the end of the paragraph with other stuff about EVs/Natures. To keep the Kings rock mention in, just make a comment when you talk about Shell Smash letting you outspeed whole unboosted tier about how Kings rock + Skill Link can further limit counterplay by allowing Cloyster to flinch through these checks. Shell Smash is used to boost Cloyster's Attack and Speed, allowing Cloyster to out speed the entire un-boosted metagame. Icicle Spear is the STAB attack of choice thanks to Skill Link, as Icicle Spear in conjunction with Skill Link gives Cloyster an effective base 125 STAB attack, no need to state dex info which also has the added benefit of bypassing Mimiyku's Disguise ability. Rock Blast is another base 125 attack that offers decent coverage against Water and Ice-types, such as Rotom-W and Tentacruel, while also being Cloyster's best option against Escavalier. Pin Missile however should can be considered over Rock Blast, as its Cloyster's best option against Slowbro and Bronzong, two of the premier checks to Cloyster. Hydro Pump is Cloyster's best option against Fire-types such as Chandelure and Incineroar should you opt to use Pin Missile, and allows Cloyster to hit Steel-types, such as Doublade and Cobalion. Switch these two mentions around since Pin Missile is only a moves mention. Ice Shard however can be used to pick off weakened threats, such as Noivern, Flygon, and Roserade. Mention how it leaves Cloyster undesirably walled by Coba and Doub however. Naive / Jolly are the natures of choice, as the increase in speed allows Cloyster to get the jump on Scarf Keldeo. If Ice Shard is used over Hydro Pump, a Jolly nature is preferred.

Cloyster is best suited on offense teams that can support Cloyster in the form of Dual Screens or entry hazards in order to pull off a sweep. Grimmsnarl is the best Dual Screen user in the metagame, which allows Cloyster to more safely pull off a Shell Smash. Offensive Spikes users such as Froslass and Roserade are great at getting up multiple hazards, wearing down the opposing team, with the latter also providing Sleep Powder, creating more set up opportunities for Cloyster. Pokemon that can match up well against Water-types, such as Celebi and Rotom-C make for excellent partners. Celebi can provide wallbreaking capabilities you should comment on which shared checks it can weaken in particular here, such as Escavalier and Bronzong and can check Keldeo reliably, while Rotom-C provides momentum with Volt Switch, allowing Cloyster to switch in safely. I'd just comment on Mowtom as another wallbreaker with NP sets here, the momentum that Mowtom provides isn't useful to Cloyster as most of its main switch ins like Roserade, Celebi, opposing Rotom-Mow are not remotely good opportunities for Cloyster. Entry hazard removers such as Defog Noivern I don't like Defog Noivern as a mention here, doesn't really fit on the sort of offensive spikes teams that you'd find Cloyster paired with Noivern on. You can instead comment on how Noivern and Starmie can help to pressure checks to Cloyster like Slowbro, Keldeo, Cobalion, and bring up how Noivern can also provide Taunt support to help keep the teams Spikes up versus foggers like Washtom, while Starmie can provide spinning. and Starmie can pressure physical walls such as Slowbro, and clear entry hazards to prevent Cloyster from being more easily KOed. Krookodile and Cobalion are premier Stealth Rock users, which can also pressure types that check Cloyster. This is only somewhat true when your better checks like Doublade and Slowbro are either immune or resistant to rocks. If you mean the mons actually pressuring stuff like Doublade, say that specifically, giving mention to how Cobalion can soften Doublade up with Volt Switch is nice too, and comment on how Chople variants can check Lycanroc-D. Move this up to where you talk about Spikes setters too to keep this in an appropriate order. Lastly, set up sweepers such as Mimiyku, Lycanroc-D, and Terrakion share similar checks to Cloyster, such as Slowbro and Cobalion, meaning they can wallbreak for Cloyster and vice versa, allowing the other to sweep. I would include a Doublade mention here, in particular takes advantage of a weakened Rotom-W and takes advantage of Lycanroc-D revenge killing you.
