It was a Minor Redesign,This is back when Gen 3 were Launched,If you look at the Artwork and Even the 2D/3D Sprites They look Like Their Redesign is Minor.

Sorry Mace this is a fundamentally bad take because a thread is only as funny as the context its in and clearly a lot of things are taken out of context when it comes to posts. A joke can only be as funny as the person reading it thinks it is. On stage people have the benefit of laughing with others. On forums people have the benefit of taking a post and misconstruing the meaning and convincing others that the way they took the joke is the way the joke was intended to be.
