I wonder why both our Trainers forgot to equip their sendout. Might be my fault, I did forget to add it to my last post, but still.
Anyway, this is one of the most passive rounds I've ever reffed: Kitsunoh basically tries to setup something, while Tyranitar tries to fish out Crobat but ends up facing Zoroark instead, which is much less favorable, but at least Lou robbed nb of their lineup liberty. Wonder if that +2 Spe is going to be watsed...​

Were you expecting a fair fight, with two Dark-types facing each other? If you were, you're a fool, because it plays out exactly like a bar fight: Zoroark attemps to make Greninja trip up, but the frog had already gone ethereal to add to the damage rocks had done, thus rendering the maneuver essentially useless. However, a glowing white orb descends from the sky and enters Zoroark, visibly healing its wounds and rendering the maneuver essentially... useless. Who writes these things? They're so bad The Sun is trying to sue me for copyright infiringement...
*ahem* The rest of the fight is a bit more conventional, with Greninja not risking triggering Zoroark's Weakness Policy and taking a beating in the process, emerging from the round with bad eyesight and a considerable HP gap to close.
Oh, maybe the bad eyesight is due to the sand flying everywhere. At least the commentating boost is protected!​

Amidst all of the sand, the battle rages on! Greninja cleverly avoids another nasty attempt with another Shadow Sneak, but as it tries to strike and retreat, Zoroark comes out of nowhere and hits it from behind! Frustrated, the frog can only slash at a veil of sand as the sneaky fox retreats to the confines of the sandstorm, laughing.
Well, that's until a swooping wave crashes down on it and now its fur is all wet. Trying to retaliate with Night Daze is all fun, but who's the real winner this round, I wonder?
In that first-to-KO format, Lou will most likely have to switch manually, which may thwart his plans. Tyranitar is comfortably sitting in the back, though.​

As expected, Lou switches to a full HP Tyranitar, while nightblitz shows his poor taste in Pokémon by once again sending in Kitsunoh. Lou manages to avoid sending Greninja to certain death by using D/E moves properties, but will now have to take first order against a Kitsunoh. However, it does have the Speed advantage for the time being, as well as a sizeable HP lead, but with both Pokémon having SE STAB against each other, this matchup may be quite volatile.
Oh, and also seeing old stats now feels very weird.​
