Are you extending until all of these matches are done Lutra? Just curious

No, these tournaments aren't cancelled. I'm only in a position now to actually comfortably look at any decisions. I think unfortunately Friday is going to probably be the realistic day R2 goes up. It's my birthday tomorrow and the decisions will probably take up today. I probably have to post the next round unless I am able to teach the necessary find and replacements.

Ok thats understandable thanks very much!

I'm pretty sure I did post about it but here it is:

Host Interpetation: Walkover Win

RBY Ubers: [ARG] mamawebos rodriguez ‹0-W› [AME] SMB

No messages are publicly available but SMB claims being given the win and Argentina did knowingly not make a substitution.

ORAS DOU: [LA] LLiama ‹0-W› [ITA] umbreon098

They scheduled a time and LLiama couldn't play in the end. Lliama gave the win and Latin America knowingly did not make a substitution.

Host Decision: Adjudged Win

RBY Ubers:
[EUR] kjdaas «A-0» [BRA] Caetano93

kjdaas and Caetano93 scheduled for Thursday September 17th, and Caetano03 appeared to miss the time. They then scheduled for the following Wednesday, which Caetano93 also appeared to miss and wasn't available again until Sunday, when there wasn't much attempt to reschedule. Caetano93 offered the activity win.

RBY UU: [EUR] kjdaas «A-0» [SPA] Ilyakomaster

They tried to schedule for Saturday 19th, but Ilyakomaster replied late and couldn't do it. Ilyakomaster missed the scheduled time on the following Saturday and Spain didn't provide a substitute when requested.

GSC OU: [GER] vani «A-0» [FRA] BlazingDark

Missed opportunities for good communication within the deadline. Advancing vani due to the fact BlazingDark missed (and withdrew from) the scheduled time after the deadline but within their agreed extension; BlazingDark also said they would ask for a substitute.

GSC OU: [AME] Lord Thorx «A-0» [NE] Bongi

Bongi has been inactive/unresponsive since September 22nd.

GSC OU: [ARG] rdar «0-A» [BRA] kael

rdar hasn't been online on the forums since September 14th and was subbed out in another match.

GSC UU: [ARG] rdar «0-A» [FRA] Louna

rdar hasn't been online on the forums since September 14th and was subbed out in another match.

ADV Ubers: [NE] Bongi «0-A» [ARG] Kyundai

Bongi has been inactive/unresponsive since September 22nd.

ADV Ubers: [CHN] gostop «A-0» [SPA] IoSonoNeon

IosonNeon missed the apparently scheduled time on Sunday September 27th. gostop waited for around 40 minutes before posting in the thread and reportedly waited an hour more.

DPP UU: [LA] luisotte «A-0» [AME] Luisin

Apparently Luisin didn't reply to contact and has been inactive since September 23rd.

DPP UU: [ASA] Trade «A-0» [GER] esche

Trade and esche scheduled for Sunday 27th after a delay from esche's side. esche missed the scheduled time. Since esche offered an activity win, and there was some extra fault, I'll go with that, but I acknowledge Germany didn't appear to be alerted.

BW Ubers: [BRA] Caetano93 «0-A» [NE] ForgottenOnes

Caetano93 was only available on Sunday 27th. They offered an activity win.

BW OU: [BRA] Caetano93 «0-A» [ARG] MegaLucario

Caetano93 was only available on Sunday 27th. They offered an activity win.

ORAS UU: [ITA] Renny «A-0» [NE] Fortune ((Splash))

Fortune was substituted in on September 20th. They scheduled for the following Sunday over a 3 hour window. Northeast weren't alerted for a substitute request within the window, but it was more than 3 hours in an active time period the eve before the deadline, so given that, it was decided enough for an adjudged win.

ORAS UU: [FRA] Dlanyer «A-0» [AME] Ampha

Dlanyer contacted Ampha and the start and eventually posted on the thread a couple of delays before the deadline that Ampha hadn't replied the whole time. While late and not tagged, Team Americas should have made an attempt to substitute over the weekend.

Host Decision: Flipped Win

ADV OU:
[GER] Fakes «0-F» [MWS] Pak

No response from Fakes after intitial contact. There should have been some follow up from Pak though and contacting of Team Germany.

DPP Ubers: [ASA] CKW «0-F» [ITA] dream

They scheduled for Saturday 26th. CKW missed the scheduled time. dream only waited 25 minutes and Team Asia did not appear to be alerted.

BW RU: [SPA] ilesaural «F-0» [ASA] trace

They agreed on Sunday 20th, but trace didn't respond back with a time and didn't respond before the deadline. After the deadline, ilesaural reported that trace couldn't be found when they rescheduled. It doesn't seem Team Asia were alerted for a substitute request.

ORAS Ubers: [IDP] Aishia «F-0» [ITA] dream

They scheduled for Saturday 26th and Aishia missed the scheduled time. dream only stayed 25 minutes though and appeared to not alert the Independent Olympians.

ORAS DOU: [MWS] Shadowmonstr7 «F-0» [BRA] Natan

Shadowmonstr7 contacted and Natan responded a week later. Natan alerted that their opponent hadn't replied since, but didn't mention them by name when they posted less than 24 hours before the deadline.

ORAS DOU: [ARG] Enzonana. «0-F» [IDP] qsns

There was a delay in initial contact and then 2 delays on qsns's side with scheduling the match in which they claimed to be available and ended up being inactive to confirm times. The match didn't end up scheduled. Ezonana didn't mention who their opponent was when they made an activity request less than 24 hours before the deadline, and didn't alert the opposing team during qsns's inactive periods. qsns was again active later on.

I'll edit in the results of the flips later. Sorry for the delay, but I've had to do this on my own and I wasn't expecting to. Hopefully later today I can get R2 up.

I regret to Lutra's decision of flipping. Gostop is a very talented player, but he does not have enough time for gaming. Despite this, he still tried to contact his opponent and successfully scheduled the game time before the "generous" deadline as Lutra said. Missing the scheduled time should not be the norm in Smogon games, so when his opponent did not show up but still asked for an extension, it was completely unexpected for us and unacceptable. Gostop is on duty this week, and we did not see him for a few days (there may be occasional online but very short). Due to the Olympic format, vusty and wss can't easily subout gostop or he will completely miss all subsequent games. We believe that gostop has already responded to this post to call act before the deadline for the first round, even when gostop was still fully playable at that time. His reply is visible to everyone. The team Spain captains should have the responsibility to follow the progress of the game post and acknowledge when their players are playing, so I think they should be able to see the call act posted around the scheduled time. They are "alerted", but they just did not notice, and that's not gostop nor team China's fault.

How long did he wait after alerting in the thread?

gostop

Nation:
China
Tiers played: ADV OU/USUM UU/ ADV UB
Inactivity: no
Requested Captain: Wss

I don't want to be disrespectful but that's literally his word vs his word he signed up despite the fact that he doesn't have enough time to play plus i was one hour late and he kept logging after that so we could actually play on that day but for some kind of reasons he decided not to.

I don't think this inactivity should include the time past the deadline. Although gostop is busy, it did not prevent him from scheduling with all 3 opps before the DDL. Players have 2 and a half weeks to play, and he just pushed everything out of the 2nd weekends and play then, I think he has done very well about time management.

Why is this a coin flip Lutra ?
My man contacted opponent when tournament started.
Never get an answer. After the deadline the other man appears and he didn't appear when they scheduled to play... This is an activity win 100% lol even more when Ilesaural has played the other 2 matches with no problems.

trace DMed me very recently today and said they were online at that time. ilesaural didn't post on the thread or in discord, and alert Team Asia to get the match done, which is my main reason though.

Changed from a flip to this. It is a stronger case than I gave it credit for.
