Jokes aside, I don't have too much of a recollection of the ladder game from a couple of years back, but I hope there's no bad blood and I am always down to talk about new ideas with you or anyone else, including newer posters. I usually talk with them in PMs after they get their threads locked -- it's just most organized that way and avoids forum clutter/breaking forum rules that pre-date me.
This is very hard to pick; my list is constantly evolving after all, but as of right now I would say:
- Long Story Short: Absolutely pleading guilty to recency bias, but it is my favorite song off of Evermore. It shows a lot of evolution from Taylor as both an individual and an artist. Be it through the up-beat, flashy approach to communicating her progression in relationships or the brief history lesson she tells both with the lines and arguably in-between the lines for those following her for a long time like myself.
- All Too Well: I think this one tops a lot of Swift song rankings, so perhaps not a shocker. I adore her attention to detail here, which is especially relatable as I tend to cling on to specific details of memories that I miss in the aftermath myself. In addition to this, it is the epitome of early 2010s Taylor as a whole.
- Betty: Again, some recency bias, but I fell in love with this song. I do not care if it is a cheesy story about a teenager cheating on his girlfriend and then realizing he fucked up, leading to him showing up uninvited to a party. It is one of my favorite songs of hers to listen to easily.
- Back To December: A sad bop, but a bop nonetheless. One of my favorite older Taylor songs. It was one of the first songs from her I could really relate to in my teenage years and I loved it.
- Better Than Revenge: This one was really catchy and I loved Taylor throwing real shade that caught headlines for the first time I really understood that dynamic. Since then -- and it has been roughly ten years, it has always stuck with me whenever listening to her older albums.

I had one guy notice it was me mid-ladder battle (probably because of my custom avatar as I was on an alt) and proceed to flame me for "enabling stall by banning all the fun Pokemon" over the course of a ~100 line rant that spanned 10-15 minutes as he dragged out the battle. He was foreign, too, which is totally fine, but he did the whole thing in very broken English, which made it pretty hilarious. I have been looking for the replay or the logs for the last 10-15 minutes, but no luck in finding them unfortunately.
I've had a handful of similar interactions where people really just attack me down to the core because I have banned their favorite Pokemon over the years. It is amusing how quick some people are to hate, especially when you have never interacted with them previously.
Fwiw, I was a 22 year old baseball player in college studying accounting. I went from 22 to 24 after a while because I realized that I forgot to age myself to 23, too. Anyway, there was a time when I was driving home with my parents from my grandparent's house and meeps wanted to know if I could hop on PO. I VMd him saying I was driving home, as if it was me driving.
Seeing as I was actually 14, I was obviously not driving. However, seeing as driving while responding to a Pokemon forum VM is not exactly legal or smart, that was also quite bad. Not sure how so many people did not catch on, but it came out soon thereafter tbh.
Probably late last generation as to if we were to have another suspect or not in the last months. I and a few others wanted to discuss Kartana and Mega Mawile whereas ABR and some others were less motivated to have a suspect. Never really came to a full agreement there unfortunately. BW Council has probably had even more heated debates though.

Normally I just grind away on the ladder or doing something IRL until I'm past it. I tend to be upset for 30 mins or an hour and then I am able to mostly move on. It may linger in the back of my head for a bit, but you gain nothing by just sulking forever, so I tend to let it all get out in one sad sitting and then move on.
Star, BKC, PDC, Marcop, TDK, Sabella, bro fist, rozes, ABR, briefly Jirachee, meeps, Rare Poison, and Kingler I have met off the top of my head. They are all great people and it was a pleasure meeting them all. Gonna leave it at that because giving details/specifics on them is not really something I wish to disclose -- privacy reasons and all. I plan on meeting a couple of others who live in my state now once the pandemic ends, too. May be forgetting a couple of people as well, so if you're seeing this and I did not list you, MB

Baseball, football, basketball, and hockey mainly. I follow the first two very closely to the extent that I am a dedicated fan. More casual with basketball/hockey, but still follow decently. Nothing new is really needed though, I am content with where I am at.

Just a simple "." followed by hours of intense malding when anything does not go my way. Not exactly a phrase, but it's very much my personal pattern of behavior.

Hard to say. I dislike how much attention to detail and production there is. I just want to make content and provide it. However, I quite like how easy it is to reach out to and positively impact countless individuals. I feel like I am positively impacting the next generation of players -- it is amazing and I am honored tbh.
Gems are amazing in BW -- Fighting Gem LandoT, Water Gem Keldeo, and Dragon Gem Latios/Garchomp are great examples. As for NU, I was the first dude to use Hex Rotom during generation 6, so gonna roll with that one.
Nah, DLCs stink. They ruin the tiering process, they are a huge money grab, and I just want to play with every single Pokemon ASAP personally. Not huge on it at all.

I haven't had Jimmy John's in forever, but 15-17% probably. If its a smaller order, I will round to a higher dollar above 15% usually.

Not sure if somebody already asked, but what is your least favorite Pokémon and why?
The importance of communication is a big thing I have learned on Smogon tbh. Being able to talk with people about different contributions or even teammates in tournaments has been huge. I am one of the most verbal people and comfortable with communicating with anyone, so naturally it makes me one of the biggest names and most influential users. Growing in this regard has been one of my favorite things and translated to IRL, too.
Nah lol I only have 1-2 people I'd say are true IRL friends that are from Smogon. A vast majority of my IRL friends are not from Smogon.

"Celebrity" is a new one, but if you want a serious answer to the actual question, I think a lot of people have healthy followings of celebrities and those who invest themselves too much in the happenings of celebrities are likely doing so because they do not have enough going on in their own lives. One should always focus predominantly on themselves before looking elsewhere (at least at the age of most Smogon users).
Not entirely sure what you mean by this, but I do feel a need to protect the "Finchinator" brand. Why else would I constantly try to cover my ass after getting unlucky in a children's game? Gotta let them know I should have won, of course.
Late January is my current guess. I think any rumors about the Blue Jays are bogus, but DJ's camp is playing it smart to secure the best bag.
I actually dislike egg sandwiches tbh. I normally go plain bagel every morning I have work, sometimes with butter if I have a few spare minutes in the AM.
Amy would be the single closest, but I actually spent some time thinking about this and there are absolutely aspects of both Jake and Gina that fit.
Jeter is the real answer. I was a huge fan of his; I even was Jeter for Halloween 9 years in a row as a child. However, the older I get, the more I appreciate Ken Griffey Jr. and LeBron James.
Tony D's Pizza in Caldwell, NJ. Don't go very often as it is not super close to where I am, but the few times I have had, it has been great. Honorable mention to a place called Anneballa's which is a bit more local to me and a ton of different pizza places on Long Island.
