[OVERVIEW]
Regirock's incredible physical bulk, typing, and access to Stealth Rock make it a premier physical wall in the tier. It can check a multitude of threats, like Archeops, Talonflame, Sneasel, Togedemaru, and Braviary, giving it multiple opportunities to set Stealth Rock reliably. However, it struggles against common wallbreakers like Virizion, Gallade, and Arctovish and can get overwhelmed rather quickly due to its lack of reliable recovery. Lastly, it suffers from competition from Gigalith, which can switch into threats like Charizard and Vanilluxe more reliably thanks to Sand Stream giving it better special bulk.

[SET]
name: Stealth Rock
move 1: Stealth Rock
move 2: Rock Blast / Stone Edge
move 3: Body Press
move 4: Toxic / Thunder Wave
item: Leftovers
ability: Clear Body
nature: Impish
evs: 252 HP / 232 Def / 24 SpD

[SET COMMENTS]
Thanks to its typing and splendid physical bulk, Regirock makes for a sturdy Stealth Rock setter capable of dishing out solid damage thanks to Body Press. The given EV spread allows Regirock to always avoid the 2HKO from Tsareena, Choice Band Aggron, and Choice Scarf Passimian, while Clear Body lets it block Parting Shot. Rock Blast allows Regirock to break Substitute and Focus Sash from Pokemon like Rotom-F and lead Archeops, while Stone Edge hits consistently harder. Toxic gives Regirock a way to cripple walls like Palossand and Vaporeon, whereas Thunder Wave can be used to cripple more offensive threats such as Virizion. Partners that can take on special attackers like Heliolisk and Magmortar that Regirock struggles against are appreciated. Lanturn stands out as a solid option, being able to further support Regirock with Heal Bell. Answers to Fighting- and Grass-types like Toxicroak, Virizion, and Tsareena are also appreciated; this makes Poison-types like Weezing and Garbodor stellar partners. Talonflame is another great teammate, and it appreciates Regirock checking threats like Aggron.
