[OVERVIEW]
Reuniclus's Calm Mind set is a win condition with solid bulk and Magic Guard, allowing it to set up on Pokemon reliant on passive damage such as Chansey, Celesteela and Spikes Mew, and Pokemon that are unable to deal enough damage to it like Krookodile and Kommo-o, but faces competition from Galarian Slowbro, who can absorb Toxic Spikes, has Regenerator, and can cripple its checks like Scizor with Scald burns, and Taunt Mew with Sludge Bomb poisons respectively. However, Reuniclus can break through Pokemon like Chansey and Celesteela more easily, and opposing Calm Mind users like Galarian Slowbro and Raikou, and it doesn't struggle as much against the likes of Nidoqueen, Kommo-o, and Mamoswine. Its low speed means it gets forced out by powerful wallbreakers like Scizor, Aegislash, and Choice Specs Chandelure, and it also has to watch out for moves like Trick and Knock Off that can heavily cripple it, especially if its the Assault Vest set.
[SET]
name: Assault Vest
move 1: Future Sight
move 2: Knock Off
move 3: Focus Blast
move 4: Psyshock
item: Assault Vest
ability: Regenerator
nature: Modest
evs: 248 HP / 16 SpA / 244 SpD
[SET COMMENTS]
Reuniclus has moves to support its teammates, like Future Sight, which allows teammates like Keldeo and Krookodile who might struggle against the likes of Amoonguss and Buzzwole to get past them, making them unable to switch in the turn Future Sight takes effect on without fainting, and Knock Off, which cripples the opposing team by getting rid of important items like Heavy-Duty Boots on Stealth Rock weak Pokemon like Salamence, Moltres, and Noivern, or an Assault Vest from Tangrowth. Reuniclus can also exert offensive pressure by itself with Focus Blast, punishing Dark-types like Krookodile and Zarude trying to come in on a Future Sight. Regenerator allows Reuniclus to function as a good pivot into special attackers like Keldeo, Primarina, and Nihilego while regenerating most of the damage these foes do after switching out.
This Reuniclus set fits best on offensive teams who appreciate Future Sight and Knock Off support, and also appreciate Reuniclus's capability to heal itself without wasting a turn to do so, but it is very reliant on its Assault Vest to take strong special attacks, so a Knock Off absorber like Amoonguss, Buzzwole, or Cobalion is necessary, alongside a teammate that can abuse Future Sight support like the aforementioned Keldeo and Krookodile, or Mienshao. Dark-types like Krookodile, Zarude, and Galarian Moltres who can take advantage of Ghost-type moves aimed at Reuniclus, and a Pokemon that can take on multiple U-turns from foes such as Scizor, Zarude and Mienshao like Salamence, Buzzwole or Moltres, forming a solid defensive core. A defogger that can keep entry hazards out of the field, like the aforementioned Salamence and Moltres is appreciated, to keep Reuniclus healthy enough to take on the threats it is supposed to, and a pokemon that can provide speed control, since Reuniclus teams tend to be quite slow. This can come either by priority moves from Scizor, Mamoswine, and Lycanroc-D, or by using a Choice Scarf on Pokemon like Zarude, Mienshao, and Krookodile.
[SET]
name: Calm Mind
move 1: Calm Mind
move 2: Recover
m0ve 3: Psyshock
move 4: Focus Blast
item: Colbur Berry
ability: Magic Guard
nature: Bold
evs:252 HP/ 252 Def/ 4 Spe
[SET COMMENTS]
Psyshock allows Reuniclus to immediately pressure Pokemon like Kommo-o and Nihilego, and it also beats opposing Calm Mind users like Primarina and Hatterene 1v1. Stored Power is an option to snowball through teams easier and it also makes Reuniclus a good stallbreaker since it allows you to beat Pyukumuku and non-Haze Quagsire, but you lose the ability to immediately threaten foes like Kommo-o and Nidoqueen. Focus Blast is chosen as the coverage move, to hit problematic Dark-Types like Krookodile and Zarude, while also hitting Steel-types like Scizor and Jirachi for neutral damage, although it is unable to deal any significant damage to Aegislash. Colbur Berry allows Reuniclus to survive a Dark-Type attack while staying at a high amount of health, and then KO back with a boosted Focus Blast. Even after consumed it will still help, since Knock Off will become 65BP.
Unlike Assault Vest Reuniclus, this set is best used in balance and Semi-Stall teams as a reliable win condition that can also check dangerous threats such as Kommo-o, and it can be supported with Dark-type Pokemon checks like Buzzwole and Primarina for opposing pokemon trying to activate Reuniclus's Colbur Berry, to facilitate a revenge kill from Krookodile or Zarude. U-turn switch-ins like Salamence, Moltres, and Buzzwole are also appreciated, since Reuniclus cannot immediately punish some users of this move, like Scizor and Jirachi, and checks to dangerous threats such as Chandelure, like Chansey and Umbreon, who can handle Hex sets but they have to watch out for Trick on Choice Specs sets, and Aegislash, like Amoonguss and Assault Vest Tangrowth, who can scout Aegislash's set and act accordingly. Dealing with Aegislash is particularly important, since Reuniclus is completely unable to get past it thanks to it being a Steel-type inmune to Focus Blast, so wallbreakers like Choice Band Zarude and Galarian Moltres able to take advantage of Aegislash and other problematic Pokemon like Jirachi are appreciated.

Other Options
=============
A Grassy Seed set gives Reuniclus a huge boost in defense, becoming nigh unkillable in that front in theory, but its multiple flaws, like forcing Tapu Bulu into the team no matter what, or the fact of it being a one time use item, meaning that the boost is lost if Reuniclus is forced out for any reason at all, or that Galarian Slowbro can do a very similar job with no restrictions, make it too inconsistent in practice to see consistent usage.
A Life Orb Trick Room set allows Reuniclus to outspeed almost any Pokemon while having incredible power and coverage, making it incredibly threatening against offensive teams, but the loss on bulk combined with it needing a turn to set Trick Room up, Trick Room's limited turns making it way too prediction reliant, and no defensive utility make it very difficult to fit into a team
Checks and Counters
===================
**Scizor **: Scizor is a big problem for Reuniclus, always defeating Assault Vest sets, and Calm Mind ones most times. Choice Band and Swords Dance sets with U-turn will win almost every time, but Swords Dance Knock Off sets will heavily struggle or outright lose to Calm Mind Reuniclus if it gets a Calm Mind off as Scizor comes in
**Dark-types **: Krookodile and Zarude threaten to revenge kill Reuniclus, but they have to watch out for a Colbur Berry since it will allow Reuniclus to take a hit and OHKO back with a +1 Focus Blast Galarian Moltres is the bigger problem, since it has a really good special bulk, allowing it to take on Reuniclus's attacks, and with Nasty Plot it can boost itself faster than Reuniclus can.
**Ghost-types**: Chandelure and Aegislash are able to deal massive damage to Reuniclus, although they fear taking a Knock Off in response, so they cannot safely come in on it. However, this issue is mitigated if Aegislash is running Substitute, blocking Knock Off and getting multiple free turns afterwards to make progress against Reuniclus's team
