Reuniclus [QC 3/3] [GP 0/2]

[OVERVIEW]

Reuniclus's Calm Mind set is a win condition with solid bulk and Magic Guard, allowing it to set up on Pokemon reliant on passive damage such as Chansey, Celesteela and Spikes Mew, and Pokemon that are unable to deal enough damage to it like Krookodile and Kommo-o, but faces competition from Galarian Slowbro, who can absorb Toxic Spikes, has Regenerator, and can cripple its checks like Scizor with Scald burns, and Taunt Mew with Sludge Bomb poisons respectively. However, Reuniclus can break through Pokemon like Chansey and Celesteela more easily, and opposing Calm Mind users like Galarian Slowbro and Raikou, and it doesn't struggle as much against the likes of Nidoqueen, Kommo-o, and Mamoswine. Its low speed means it gets forced out by powerful wallbreakers like Scizor, Aegislash, and Choice Specs Chandelure, and it also has to watch out for moves like Trick and Knock Off that can heavily cripple it, especially if its the Assault Vest set.

[SET]
name: Assault Vest
move 1: Future Sight
move 2: Knock Off
move 3: Focus Blast
move 4: Psyshock
item: Assault Vest
ability: Regenerator
nature: Modest
evs: 248 HP / 16 SpA / 244 SpD

[SET COMMENTS]

Reuniclus has moves to support its teammates, like Future Sight, which allows teammates like Keldeo and Krookodile who might struggle against the likes of Amoonguss and Buzzwole to get past them, making them unable to switch in the turn Future Sight takes effect on without fainting, and Knock Off, which cripples the opposing team by getting rid of important items like Heavy-Duty Boots on Stealth Rock weak Pokemon like Salamence, Moltres, and Noivern, or an Assault Vest from Tangrowth. Reuniclus can also exert offensive pressure by itself with Focus Blast, punishing Dark-types like Krookodile and Zarude trying to come in on a Future Sight. Regenerator allows Reuniclus to function as a good pivot into special attackers like Keldeo, Primarina, and Nihilego while regenerating most of the damage these foes do after switching out.

This Reuniclus set fits best on offensive teams who appreciate Future Sight and Knock Off support, and also appreciate Reuniclus's capability to heal itself without wasting a turn to do so, but it is very reliant on its Assault Vest to take strong special attacks, so a Knock Off absorber like Amoonguss, Buzzwole, or Cobalion is necessary, alongside a teammate that can abuse Future Sight support like the aforementioned Keldeo and Krookodile, or Mienshao. Dark-types like Krookodile, Zarude, and Galarian Moltres who can take advantage of Ghost-type moves aimed at Reuniclus, and a Pokemon that can take on multiple U-turns from foes such as Scizor, Zarude and Mienshao like Salamence, Buzzwole or Moltres, forming a solid defensive core. A defogger that can keep entry hazards out of the field, like the aforementioned Salamence and Moltres is appreciated, to keep Reuniclus healthy enough to take on the threats it is supposed to, and a pokemon that can provide speed control, since Reuniclus teams tend to be quite slow. This can come either by priority moves from Scizor, Mamoswine, and Lycanroc-D, or by using a Choice Scarf on Pokemon like Zarude, Mienshao, and Krookodile.

[SET]
name: Calm Mind
move 1: Calm Mind
move 2: Recover
m0ve 3: Psyshock
move 4: Focus Blast
item: Colbur Berry
ability: Magic Guard
nature: Bold
evs:252 HP/ 252 Def/ 4 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]

Psyshock allows Reuniclus to immediately pressure Pokemon like Kommo-o and Nihilego, and it also beats opposing Calm Mind users like Primarina and Hatterene 1v1. Stored Power is an option to snowball through teams easier and it also makes Reuniclus a good stallbreaker since it allows you to beat Pyukumuku and non-Haze Quagsire, but you lose the ability to immediately threaten foes like Kommo-o and Nidoqueen. Focus Blast is chosen as the coverage move, to hit problematic Dark-Types like Krookodile and Zarude, while also hitting Steel-types like Scizor and Jirachi for neutral damage, although it is unable to deal any significant damage to Aegislash. Colbur Berry allows Reuniclus to survive a Dark-Type attack while staying at a high amount of health, and then KO back with a boosted Focus Blast. Even after consumed it will still help, since Knock Off will become 65BP.

Unlike Assault Vest Reuniclus, this set is best used in balance and Semi-Stall teams as a reliable win condition that can also check dangerous threats such as Kommo-o, and it can be supported with Dark-type Pokemon checks like Buzzwole and Primarina for opposing pokemon trying to activate Reuniclus's Colbur Berry, to facilitate a revenge kill from Krookodile or Zarude. U-turn switch-ins like Salamence, Moltres, and Buzzwole are also appreciated, since Reuniclus cannot immediately punish some users of this move, like Scizor and Jirachi, and checks to dangerous threats such as Chandelure, like Chansey and Umbreon, who can handle Hex sets but they have to watch out for Trick on Choice Specs sets, and Aegislash, like Amoonguss and Assault Vest Tangrowth, who can scout Aegislash's set and act accordingly. Dealing with Aegislash is particularly important, since Reuniclus is completely unable to get past it thanks to it being a Steel-type inmune to Focus Blast, so wallbreakers like Choice Band Zarude and Galarian Moltres able to take advantage of Aegislash and other problematic Pokemon like Jirachi are appreciated.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

A Grassy Seed set gives Reuniclus a huge boost in defense, becoming nigh unkillable in that front in theory, but its multiple flaws, like forcing Tapu Bulu into the team no matter what, or the fact of it being a one time use item, meaning that the boost is lost if Reuniclus is forced out for any reason at all, or that Galarian Slowbro can do a very similar job with no restrictions, make it too inconsistent in practice to see consistent usage.

A Life Orb Trick Room set allows Reuniclus to outspeed almost any Pokemon while having incredible power and coverage, making it incredibly threatening against offensive teams, but the loss on bulk combined with it needing a turn to set Trick Room up, Trick Room's limited turns making it way too prediction reliant, and no defensive utility make it very difficult to fit into a team

Checks and Counters

===================

**Scizor **: Scizor is a big problem for Reuniclus, always defeating Assault Vest sets, and Calm Mind ones most times. Choice Band and Swords Dance sets with U-turn will win almost every time, but Swords Dance Knock Off sets will heavily struggle or outright lose to Calm Mind Reuniclus if it gets a Calm Mind off as Scizor comes in

**Dark-types **: Krookodile and Zarude threaten to revenge kill Reuniclus, but they have to watch out for a Colbur Berry since it will allow Reuniclus to take a hit and OHKO back with a +1 Focus Blast Galarian Moltres is the bigger problem, since it has a really good special bulk, allowing it to take on Reuniclus's attacks, and with Nasty Plot it can boost itself faster than Reuniclus can.

**Ghost-types**: Chandelure and Aegislash are able to deal massive damage to Reuniclus, although they fear taking a Knock Off in response, so they cannot safely come in on it. However, this issue is mitigated if Aegislash is running Substitute, blocking Knock Off and getting multiple free turns afterwards to make progress against Reuniclus's team

[OVERVIEW]

-Reuniclus is one of the best sweepers in UU, thanks to its good natural bulk and the ability Magic Guard

-The afromentioned natural bulk allows Reuniclus to act not only as a sweeper, but also as a check to a variety of threats such as Belly Drum Kommo-o, Terrakion, and Zeraora

-Thanks to Magic Guard, Reuniclus can setup on foes most setup sweepers struggle with such as Celesteela and Chansey

-Reuniclus is very slow, meaning that it will have problems setting up if the opposing team has foes that can deal massive damage to it such as Crawdaunt, Moltres-Galar, Bisharp, and Scizor

-Another problem that arises from being a slow setup sweeper is being vulnerable to Trick, a common move on foes such as Victini and Jirachi

This overview kind of misses the mark for me on what you should talk about with respect to Reuniclus here. The topics that you should realistically be covering here personally would be,

  • Powerful win condition and set up sweeper, solid bulk + magic guard that allows it to set up on passive Pokemon like Chansey / Celesteela, and especically in conjunction with grassy seed makes Pokemon like Krookodile unable to reliably deal with it, but mention how grassy seed + bulk also lets it set up on pokemon like kommo-o, zeraora etc.
  • Compare it to CM Slowbro-Galar, which provides more defensive utility as a check to POkemon like Zeraora, Tapu Bulu etc, has Regenerator, and has more early game presence through its ability to cripple checks like SD Scizor with Scald burns. Make sure to comment on Reuniclus's upsides here too though, with it being able to break through Pokemon like Celesteela / opposing CM users like Slowbro-galar better and being less vulnerable to Pokemon like Nidoqueen / Mamoswine.
  • Bring up the fact of it being easily forced out by powerful wallbreakers like Scizor , Specs Chand, and CB Victini due to its speed, suspectibility to a fast Sleep Powder from Tangrowth, and vulnerability to Trick from Jirachi as things that can easily limit its ability to sweep.

Paragraph 1

-Psyshock is the STAB move of choice because, unlike Psychic, it hitting the foe’s physical defense allows Reuniclus to beat opposing Calm Mind users such as Hatterene and Primarina and, unlike Stored Power, it doesnt require multiple boosts to be used, allowing Reuniclus to attack unboosted when necessary Needlessly fluffy. Just mention how Psyshock lets it immediately pressure Pokemon like Kommo-o / Terrakion unlike Stored Powder, and beat stuff like CM Glowbro 1v1. doesn't need to be too long.

Mention stored power, how its nice to snowball better and improves your stall matchup, but comes at the cost of immediately threatening Kommo-o.

-Focus Blast is the coverage move of choice to hit the Dark-Types Like Krookodile and Bisharpthat are so problematic for Reuniclus. Psychic-Types resisting both of Reuniclus’s moves is not a big issue, since most Psychic-Types can’t hurt Reuniclus once it gets 1 or 2 Calm Minds up fluff again.

also comment on it as necessary coverage for stuff like Skarmory / Scizor.

-Grassy Seed gives Reuniclus a Defense boost that makes it really hard to 2HKO Reuniclus with any Physical Attack, and also Grassy Seed is a 1-use item, meaning that Knock Off becomes only 65 BP, but also meaning that once you use Grassy Seed you can’t switch out or else you will lose your Defense boost

Again this is a bit wordy, you can summarise it a bit more imo and go into more details about the sort of mons the defense boost is important for to stop revenging you. Also comment on it giving you the ability to pressure and set up on mons like Terrak. Bring up colbur berry too, as something you can run on non Bulu teams that similarly helps you versus mons like Krook / Bish,

Paragraph 2

-Reuniclus is best used in bulky balance and Semi-Stall, since those kinds of teams have the perfect support for Reuniclus while not being affected by the loss of momentum when Reuniclus comes in, unlike more offensive teams. its fine on normal balance team strucutres too (see some of the snake replays for examples of this). Just say that it fits well on balance and semi stall teams as a potent win condition that can serve as a check to Pokemon like Terrakion.

-The obvious (and required) teammate for Reuniclus is Tapu Bulu, rephrase this since it isn't actually necessary since you need a Grassy Surge user to actívate Grassy Seed. As a bonus, Tapu Bulu matches well versus all of the darks with the exception of Moltres-Galar, and Bisharp if you don’t run max Speed Tapu Bulu Would change the focus on this here. Tapu Bulu obviously provides the grassy terrain which is worth commenting on, but you should be mentioning that it in turn provides a good check to Krook and general Knock switch in for Reuni if it wants to do earlier game wallbreaking without activating its seed, and can pressure and remove checks like Sleep Powder Tangrowth with SD sets, can also mention that these can wear Skarmory down to a point that it cant necessarily whirlwind reuniclus reliably.

-Steel-Types such as Skarmory or Magnezone can support Reuniclus very well. Skarmory walls Scizor and all of the Physical Dark-Types while chipping them with Spikes and Rocky Helmet, and Magnezone traps the obonoxious Whirlwind Skarmory, while also trapping Scizor. You should focus with more specific examples with Skarmory here, eg. Krook. If you are going to focus on it walling Scizor / Bish, need to mention this being an Iron defense + body press set to actually comfortablywall scizor, as SD sets can otherwise be pretty scary. Ditch the magnezone mention, it doesn't rly fit on teams with reuni that well as a pretty fake steel type. How do spikes help reuni on these builds from skarm?

-Knock Off absorbers such as Kommo-o, since in most games foes will try to knock Reuniclus’s Grassy Seed off before it can use it Clanger not good Knock absorber really. just bring this up with Tapu Bulu.

-A Moltres-Galar counter is important to have since it sets up on Reuniclus and also on a lot of its common teammates. Chansey, Primarina, or even the rare Diancie can get the job done Prim isn't really a good goltres counter, and chansey loses to Rest Talk variants. This point should also just generally focus on some other stuff too not just goltres, the biggest thing that needs to be mentioned is strong Chandelure answers like Chansey / Umbreon, can also bring up Kommo-o if you want as a specs check, though it rly struggles with hex versions.

Reuni is a psychic-type that isn't really providing you with a check to Pokemon like Victini / Keldeo / Salamence unlike Slowking on these sorts of builds. While it has defensive utility, it often doesn't want to waste its HP and can often not want to switch in with grassy terrain up either. Mention some reuniclus teammates that can patch up these issues, such as your own Salamence and the previously brought up chansey.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]

=============

-A set with Colbur Berry as Reuniclus’s item helps it survive a Dark-Type attack while staying at a high amount of health, and then KO back the Dark-Type with a boosted Focus Blast. However, this set is outclassed by the Grassy Seed set because that set’s defense boost allows Reuniclus to take around the same amount of damage from a Dark-Type move while taking better the rest of physical attacks moving this into main set.

-A set with Acid Armor and Stored Power that allows Reuniclus to boost the defense stat it wants to depending on the situation. However, this set relies on the opposing Dark-Type getting Burned or Poisoned by a teammate, which is very unreliable Its actually not particularly unreliable at all. By far the most common Dark-type atm is Krookodile, which is a mon thats easily pressured into taking Toxic from Boots Chandy and easily worn down by chip damage from helmets etc. Mention how this set has a lot of snowballing potential especially vs Krookodile teams, mention some teammates like Chandy t hat can force krookodile to be crippled. Then comment on how it can greatly struggle into other matchups versus stuff like Zarude though, meaning it can be a bit of a matchup fish at times.

Checks and Counters

===================

**Dark-Types **: After activating Grassy Seed, Krookodile can’t really hurt Reuniclus, although it can still Taunt it, which could force you out if you take too much damage. Moltres-Galar is the bigger problem, since thanks to its Flying-Type its not weak to Focus Blast, and with Nasty Plot it can boost itself faster than Reuniclus can. This should not be the first point. Move this down. With the krookodile point, this really hits the wrong bases, and you should instead be focusing on the fact that darkest lariat krookodile can revenge reuni after it has taken sufficient damage, (also mention stuff like Zarude here too).

**Scizor **: Scizor is both the most common and the most problematic Reuniclus counter. With Swords Dance to set up, Roost to heal Focus Blast damage off and either U-turn or Knock Off to deal massive damage to Reuniclus, a Reuniclus sweep is very unlikely if Scizor is still alive. This matchup isn't necessarily as reliable as you make it out to be. CB Scizor isn't an answer versus healthy grassy seed sets as you can just Recover on the switch-out and end up roughly net even. SD Knock off sets can struggle to break through Reuniclus if its colbur / grassy seed and will lose if reuniclus has already boosted before it comse in and hits both focus blasts. You should encapsulate these different scenarios in this section, but mention how SD Bug Bite in particular can absolutely destroy Reuniclus, how SD knock can beat it if its not already boosted / is forced to recover, and CB revenges it when chipped.

**Trick Users **: The afromentioned these were mentioned absolutely ages ago, so no need for this. Victini and Jirachi can trick their Choice Scarf/Band na CB victini barely ever runs trick so not worth mentioning, if anything CB victini is jut going to v-create you for like 85% damage lol to Reuniclus to lock it into a move, making it unable to sweep. This can only be done once though, and if the Reuniclus switches into another teammate, Reuniclus can try another sweep later on. However, forcing Reuniclus out when it has the Grassy Seed boost can be enough to stop a sweep for the rest of the game. If you are mentioning these two, you should also be commenting on their ability to still break through you anyway, as Jirachi can easily get through you with flinches, while CB victini has a nuclear v-create.

**Clear Smog Users **: The only users of this move are Gastrodon and Amoonguss. Amoonguss can Clear Smog Reuniclus’ boosts away in an emergency, since it will take massive damage from a +1 Psyshock. Gastrodon can easily tank a +1 Psyshock and do the same as Amoonguss, but much more consistently. not relevant enough move on either of these mons for a point. Instead change this to a point on phasing and sleep moves, move it up to be above trick users, and talk about whirlwind skarmory and sleep powder / spore tang/amoong. Talk about how these aren't necessarily rreliable counterplay, as skarmory is forced to take a focus blast first / can't beat last mon reuni, and the second two are set up fodder if something else is already slept.

**Unaware Users**: Reuniclus relies on its boosts to sweep, so Unaware Users such as Quagsire and Pyukumuku easily stop it unless its carrying Stored Power

[OVERVIEW]

-Reuniclus is a powerful win condition with solid bulk and magic guard, allowing it to set up on Pokemon reliant on passive damage such as Chansey and Celesteela
-With a Grassy Seed, Reuniclus is able to set up on Pokemon such as Zeraora, Kommo-o, and Mamoswine, while making Pokemon like Krookodile unable to reliably deal with it Sorry if i wasn't super clear here, but put the Krook being unable to deal with it well because of solid bulk in the first bit, grassy seed doesn't tend to matter because of darkest lariat, but its still only doing like 50% either way anyway. This also applies to Kommo-o, it sets up on mixed / defensive sets either way, grassy seed makes 0 difference here. The focus on Grassy seed goes more towards like, setting up on stuff like Mamo / Zeraora and being harder to revenge kill with something like Bish / CB Victini etc.
-It faces competition from Slowbro-Galar, who can check Pokemon Reuniclus cannot, like Tapu Bulu and Terrakion, its also a lot to do with the defensive utility slowbro-galar brings to the table, yea its a bulu check etc but its a grounded-poison, regen means it honstly acts as a decent zeraora check etc has Regenerator to stay at a high amount of health even when its forced to take a hit important focus is here that it lets it take a hit from something like a Chandelure after a CM boost to remove it for later, but thanks to regen it actually stands a chance of doing something again later because it can get itself back up higher HP without needing to find something to recover on when its slow af, and can cripple its checks like SD Scizor and Bisharp with Scald burns. However, Reuniclus can break through Pokemon like Chansey, Celesteela, maybe say "more easily" or something here because its not out of the realm of possibility for glowbro to do it, it just wastes a lot of recovery and attacking PP in the process since its not got psyshock. and opposing CM users like Slowbro-Galar and Reuniclus themselves, and unlike Slowbro-Galar it isn't a poison type, meaning it doesn't struggle as much against the likes of Nidoqueen, Mamoswine, Rhyperior and Diggersby Too many mentions, just focus on Nidoqueen and Mamo in particular her.
-Due to its low speed, Reuniclus can be forced out by powerful wallbreakers like Scizor, CB Victini and Specs Chandelure, by a fast Sleep Powder from Tangrowth, or by Trick from Jirachi.

[SET COMMENTS]

Paragraph 1

-Psyshock allows Reuniclus to inmediately typo pressure Pokemon like Terrakion and Kommo-o unlike Stored Power, and it also beats opposing CM users like Primarina and Hatterene 1v1 unlike Psychic
-Stored Power is an option to snowball through teams easier and it also makes Reuniclus a good stallbreaker since it allows you to beat the unaware users, maybe speciically state non-Haze Quagsire here, but you lose the ability to inmediately threathen typo Kommo-o and Conkeldurr
-Focus Blast is the coverage move of choice to hit the Dark-Types like Krookodile and Bisharp that are so problematic for Reuniclus, and its also necessary for Steel-Types like Skarmory, Scizor and Jirachi
-Grassy Seed gives Reuniclus a Defense boost, allowing it to 1v1 Pokemon such as Terrakion, CB Victini, and BU Zeraora. Also, Grassy Seed is a 1-use item, so Knock Off is weakened to 65 BP when you use it Mention the specific downsides that you have to play around here, ie. that you need to be careful when you bring reuniclus in if terrain is up and can't let yourself take a knock off early game from a Pokemon like krook if its needed later for your win path.
-Colbur Berry allows Reuniclus to work on teams without Tapu Bulu, surviving a Dark-Type attack while staying at a high amount of health, and then KOing back the Dark-Type with a boosted Focus Blast. Its also superior to Grassy Seed when having to take a Darkest Lariat from Krookodile or Zarude, but this set loses out on beating the afromentioned Terrakion, CB Victini, and BU Zeraora not really true w.r.t terrakion as you take one anyway, what grassy seed allows you to do is much more comfortably check terrakion / try to set up on it. Bulky up zeraora also loses the 1v1 too if it comes in after Reuniclus has already set up a Calm Mind. The important thing here is that you are easier to revenge kill with stuff like CB Victini / CB Azu.

Paragraph 2

-Reuniclus is best used in balance and Semi-Stall teams as a reliable win condition that can also check dangerous threats such as Terrakion
- The most common teammate for Reuniclus is Tapu Bulu. Its needed if you want to use Grassy Seed as your item, it provides passive recovery with Grassy Terrain making it easier to set up, its a good Knock Off absorber and Krookodile check, and it can remove some of Reuniclus's checks, like Tangrowth with a +2 Megahorn, or Skarmory by weakening it into Focus Blast range. Make it specific you mean Swords Dance sets doing this. Also you aren't actually removing Skarmory then in the second part.
-Skarmory can support Reuniclus very well, walling Scizor, Krookodile, and Bisharp with an Iron Defense + Body Press set try and word that you need Body Press for the last one in Bisharp but not the other two as atm it sounds like you need it for the others too. while chipping Pokemon like Scizor, Conkeldurr, and Mamoswine into Focus Blast/Psyshock range with Spikes and Rocky Helmet. +1 4 SpA Reuniclus Focus Blast vs. 120 HP / 0 SpD Scizor: 189-223 (60.7 - 71.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and 1 layer of Spikes this isn't really true and scizor has recovery anyway. Just state how Spikes wear down offensive checks like SD Scizor / Scarff Jirachi etc.
-Checks to dangerous threats such as Chandelure and Moltres-Galar. Chansey and Umbreon(smh esta)
1614808049728.png
can counter Chandelure, but they have to watch out for Trick on Choice Specs sets, and Earthquake Kommo-o can check Specs Chandelure, but struggles against Hex variants. An offensive check like Zeraora is preferred for Moltres-Galar, since RestTalk is very hard to answer defensively Talk more about what Zeraora can offer for these sort of teams too, such as a much more reliable check to stuff like Keldeo / Terrakion. Mention running Blaze kick especially to help pressure scizor and how it appreciates Reuni checking Kommo-o if it doesnt run Play rough.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

-A set with Acid Armor and Stored Power exists that allows Reuniclus to boost the defense stat it wants to depending on the situation. Mention why acid armor is helpful here, ie. that you can easily prevent yourself being revenged by stuff like Azu and CB / SD Knock sciz. With support from teammates like Toxic or Will-O-Wisp Chandelure luring and statusing the most common Dark-Type in Krookodile can make this set quite dangerous. However, this set is matchup reliant, and if facing Pokemon like Bisharp or Zarude its basically useless offensively until those foes faint.

Checks and Counters

===================

**Scizor **: Scizor is a big problem for Reuniclus, but the matchup is very dependant on Scizor's set. Choice Band really struggles against Grassy Seed Reuniclus, since it can heal most of U-Turn's damage off, but it can revenge kill it if its low enough. SD Knock off can lose if Reuniclus CMs on the switch and hits Focus Blast enough times, but it wins if Reuniclus is forced to recover on the switch. SD Bug Bite wins no matter what.

**Dark-Types **: Krookodile and Zarude can 2HKO Grassy Seed Reuniclus with Darkest Lariat, but struggle against Colbur Berry. Realistically they also struggle versus Grassy seed because darkest lariat just isn't doing enough, mention this specifically but coment on how they are able to revenge kill reuniclus if its chipped enough because they ca go through grassy seed / put them in range of their offensive teammates Moltres-Galar is the bigger problem, since thanks to its Flying-Type its not weak to Focus Blast, and with Nasty Plot it can boost itself faster than Reuniclus can.

**Phasing and Sleep Moves**: Whirlwind Skarmory and Sleep Powder/Spore Tangrowth/Amoonguss can either force it out or give free turns to a teammate to try and beat Reuniclus. However, Skarmory can't Whirlwind if its in Focus Blast range and the other 2 become setup fodder if there is already an asleep Pokemon in Reuniclus's team

**Jirachi **: Jirachi can trick its Choice Scarf to Reuniclus to lock it into a move, making it unable to sweep. This can only be done once though, and if the Reuniclus switches into another teammate, Reuniclus can try another sweep later on. However, forcing Reuniclus out when it has the Grassy Seed boost can be enough to stop a sweep for the rest of the game. Additionally, Iron Head+Thunder/Body Slam can easily flinch down Reuniclus if Jirachi gets lucky enough. Even the para support is technically unecessary since Jirachi only needs to land 3-4 paras. This comes up to about a 14.4% chance to flinch straight rom full to KO factoring in the iron head rolls, realistically much greater because you'll have multiple chances to fish for this as Reuniclus cannot easily kill you.

Make this point Trick users in general, put the Victini mention back in and mention how trick form that cripples u while CB sets can try and break through you if you dont have your grassy seed boost.

**Unaware Users**: Reuniclus relies on its boosts to sweep, so Unaware Users such as Quagsire and Pyukumuku easily stop it unless its carrying Stored Power, although these sets can still be stopped by Haze Quagsire.

[OVERVIEW]

-Reuniclus is a powerful win condition with solid bulk and Magic Guard, allowing it to set up on Pokemon reliant on passive damage such as Chansey and Celesteela and Pokemon that are unable to deal enough damage to it like Krookodile and Kommo-o
-With a Grassy Seed, Reuniclus is able to set up on Pokemon such as Zeraora and Mamoswine, while also being harder to revenge kill by Pokemon like CB Victini, Bisharp and CB Scizor Bisharp, Choice Band Scizor, and Choice Band Victini (spell out Choice Band instead of CB. Applies to moves like "Bulk Up" too. Also, I reordered this to move Bisharp first so it doesn't sound like you are suggesting Bisharp is also CB)
-It faces competition from Slowbro-Galar Galarian Slowbro (Galarian forms in analyses are always "Galarian X", etc., I didn't highlight it in the rest of the analysis just here so that you know), who can more easily check Pokemon Reuniclus cannot, like Tapu Bulu and Terrakion (Reuniclus is KOing Terrakion at +1 with Psyshock and Rak can't KO it even if Band, so I wouldn't say it totally can't check it. I would just relax the language a bit and still get your point accross), can absorb Toxic Spikes, has Regenerator to stay at a high amount of health and try to sweep even when its forced to take a hit from Pokemon such as Chandelure, (you can probably just mention regenerator without explaining all of this afterwards) and can cripple its checks like SD Scizor and Bisharp with Scald burns. However, Reuniclus can break through Pokemon like Chansey and Celesteela more easily, and opposing CM users like Slowbro-Galar and Reuniclus themselves, and unlike Slowbro-Galar it isn't a poison type, meaning it doesn't struggle as much against the likes of Nidoqueen and Mamoswine. (You basically spent half the intro comparing Reuniclus to Glowbro. I would suggest condensing this part a bit if possible.)
-Due to its low speed, Reuniclus can be forced out by powerful wallbreakers like Scizor, CBChoice Band Victini and Choice Specs Chandelure, by a fast Sleep Powder from Tangrowth, or by Trick from users like Jirachi (I would change this to "Trick users like Jirachi", since other Pokemon that run Trick can do the same thing also, as you mention later on with Victini)

[SET COMMENTS]

Paragraph 1

-Psyshock allows Reuniclus to immediately pressure Pokemon like Terrakion and Kommo-o unlike Stored Power, and it also beats opposing CM users like Primarina and Hatterene 1v1 unlike Psychic (Your point here seems to be that Psyshock is the preferred STAB option over moves like Stored Power or Psychic, so you should start with that right away so your point does not get lost)
-Stored Power is an option to snowball through teams easier and it also makes Reuniclus a good stallbreaker since it allows you to beat Pyukumuku and non-Haze Quagsire, but you lose the ability to inmediately immediately threaten foes like Kommo-o and Conkeldurr (added "foes like" since there are more things besides these two you can immediately threaten, such as Nidoqueen, etc.)
-Focus Blast is the coverage move of choice to hit the problematic Dark-Types like Krookodile and Bisharp that are so problematic for Reuniclus, and its also necessary for Steel-Types like Skarmory, Scizor and Jirachi
-Grassy Seed gives Reuniclus a Defense boost, allowing it to 1v1 Pokemon such as Terrakion, CB Victini, and BU Zeraora (You can actually lose a 1v1 with Rak if it's SD Megahorn, even at +1 def, and Victini can also win if Reuiniclus is chipped when it comes in as VCreate does over 50% with Def boost, so change 1v1 to a different phrasing, like "allowing it to beat" or something along those lines). Also, Grassy Seed is a 1-use item, so Knock Off is weakened to 65 BP when after you use it. However, you have to be careful about sending Reuniclus out when terrain is up to not accidentally consume the Grassy Seed, or about making sure it doesnt get knocked off
-Colbur Berry allows Reuniclus to work on teams without Tapu Bulu, surviving a Dark-Type attack while staying at a high amount of health, and then KOing back the Dark-Type with a boosted Focus Blast. Its also superior to Grassy Seed when having to take a Darkest Lariat from Krookodile or Zarude, but this set is more easily revenge killed by the likes of CB Victini, CB Scizor, and CB Azumarill

Paragraph 2

-Reuniclus is best used in balance and Semi-Stall teams as a reliable win condition that can also check dangerous threats such as Terrakion
- The most common teammate for Reuniclus is Tapu Bulu to set Grassy Terrain, allowing Reuniclus to consume its Grassy Seed. Its needed if you want to use Grassy Seed as your item, It also provides passive recovery with Grassy Terrain making it easier to set up, its is a good Knock Off absorber and Krookodile check, and with Swords Dance it can remove Tangrowth with a +2 Megahorn and weaken Skarmory into Focus Blast range.
-Skarmory can support Reuniclus very well, walling Scizor and Krookodile with an Iron Defense set (it can check these pretty efficiently even without the Iron Defense set), and potentially threatening Bisharp by adding with Body Press, while wearing down offensive checks to Reuniclus with Spikes like SD Scizor, Scarf Jirachi, and Mamoswine (Mamoswine may not be the best mention here - it can't do much to Reuniclus with Knock, and EQ only does 50% with Orb without a Defense boost. Also you mention in the Overview that Reuniclus can "set up easily" on Pokemon like "Mamoswine".)
-Checks to dangerous threats such as Chandelure and Moltres-Galar (While you are still in bullet point form, I would make this a complete sentence). Chansey and Umbreon can counter Chandelure, but they have to watch out for Trick on Choice Specs sets, and Earthquake Kommo-o can check Specs Chandelure, but struggles against Hex variants. An offensive check like Zeraora is preferred for Moltres-Galar, since RestTalk is very hard to answer defensively. Additionaly, Zeraora provides a reliable check to Pokemon Reuniclus stuggles struggles with, like Keldeo and Terrakion while pressuring Scizor with Blaze Kick, and Reuniclus allows Zeraora to drop Play Rough since beating Kommo-o is no longer necessary.

=============

-A set with Acid Armor and Stored Power exists that allows Reuniclus to boost the defense stat it wants to depending on the situation (I'm not sure what you mean by "depending on the situation", and I don't think I'm dumb (usually), so I would flesh that out more or just re-word this), meaning it doesn't get revenged by any physical attacker lacking Darkest Lariat. With Support from teammates like Toxic or Will-O-Wisp Chandelure luring and statusing the most common Dark-Type in Krookodile can make this set quite dangerous. However, this set is matchup reliant, and if facing Pokemon like Bisharp or Zarude its it's basically useless offensively until those foes faint.

Checks and Counters

===================

**Scizor **: Scizor is a big problem for Reuniclus, but the matchup is very dependant dependent on Scizor's set. Choice Band really struggles against Grassy Seed Reuniclus, since it can heal most of U-Turn's damage off, but it can revenge kill it if its health is low enough. SD Knock off can lose if Reuniclus CMs on the switch and hits Focus Blast enough times, but it wins if Reuniclus is forced to recover on the switch. SD Bug Bite wins no matter what.

**Dark-Types **: Krookodile and Zarude can 2HKO Grassy Seed Reuniclus with Darkest Lariat, which isnt enough to beat it but they can revenge it or put it in range for a teammate to revenge, but that is not possible against Colbur Berry. Moltres-Galar is the bigger problem, since thanks to its Flying-Type its not weak to Focus Blast, and with Nasty Plot it can boost itself faster than Reuniclus can.

**Trick Users**: Jirachi and Victini can trick their Choice Scarf to Reuniclus to lock it into a move, making it unable to sweep. This can only be done once though, and if the Reuniclus switches into another teammate, Reuniclus can try another sweep later on. However, forcing Reuniclus out when it has the Grassy Seed boost can be enough to stop a sweep for the rest of the game. Additionally, Iron Head can easily flinch down Reuniclus if Jirachi gets lucky enough, and the odds are even higher if the Jirachi has Body Slam/Thunder, and CB Victini can break through Reuniclus if it doesn't have a Grassy Seed boost. (This point is about Trick Users, but as you read this last bit it sounds more like a point about Jirachi and Victini specifically instead of Trick generally, so I'd consider revising this point or dropping this last bit. Also, other Pokemon can run Trick like Rotom-W and Chandelure, so I would change the mentions here to "Pokemon like Jirachi etc." or "Trick users like Jirachi and Victini etc." instead of only saying "Jirachi and Victini")

**Unaware Users**: Reuniclus relies on its boosts to sweep, so Unaware Users such as Quagsire and Pyukumuku easily stop it unless its carrying Stored Power, although these sets can still be stopped by Haze Quagsire

FINAL NOTE: I caught a few spelling errors/typos and changed some, but there are still others, so I would suggest you proofread through this before the next QC.

[OVERVIEW]

-Reuniclus is a powerful tone it down win condition with solid bulk and Magic Guard, allowing it to set up on Pokemon reliant on passive damage such as Chansey, Celesteela and Spikes Mew, and Pokemon that are unable to deal enough damage to it like Krookodile and Kommo-o
-With a Grassy Seed, Reuniclus is able to set up on Pokemon such as Mamoswine, while also being harder to revenge kill by Pokemon like Diggersby, Choice Band Azumarill, and Choice Band Scizor.
-It faces competition from Galarian Slowbro, who can more easily check Pokemon like Tapu Bulu, can absorb Toxic Spikes, has Regenerator to stay at a high amount of health and try to sweep even when its forced to take a hit from Pokemon such as Chandelure, and can cripple its checks like Scizor and Taunt Mew with Scald burns and Sludge Bomb poisons respectively this reads kinda weirdly prolly better off splitting into a couple sentences. However, Reuniclus can break through Pokemon like Chansey and Celesteela more easily, and opposing CM users like Galarian Slowbro and Reuniclus Raikou themselves, and it doesn't struggle as much against the likes of Nidoqueen, Diggersby and Mamoswine include clanger somewhere, could just remove diggs mention.
-Due to its low speed, Reuniclus can be forced out by powerful wallbreakers like Scizor, Aegislash and Choice Specs Chandelure, by a Sleep Powder from Tangrowth, or by Trick from users like Jirachi having the sleep powder and trick cripple mentions feels off w the low speed point, better to split imo

Paragraph 1

-Psyshock allows Reuniclus to immediately pressure Pokemon like Kommo-o and Conkeldurr i mean I guess? would prefer a diff fighting here or like nihi unlike Stored Power, and it also beats opposing Calm Mind users like Primarina and Hatterene 1v1 unlike Psychic
-Stored Power is an option to snowball through teams easier and it also makes Reuniclus a good stallbreaker since it allows you to beat Pyukumuku and non-Haze Quagsire, but you lose the ability to immediately threaten foes like Kommo-o and Nidoqueen
-Focus Blast is the coverage move of choice to hit problematic Dark-Types like Krookodile and Zarude, and it is also necessary for Steel-Types like Scizor and Jirachi
-Grassy Seed gives Reuniclus a Defense boost, allowing it to beat Pokemon such as Choice Band Azumarill and Swords Dance Diggersby. Also, Grassy Seed is a 1-use item, so Knock Off is weakened to 65 BP after you use it. However, you have to be careful about sending Reuniclus out when Grassy Terrain is up to not accidentally consume the Grassy Seed, or about making sure it doesn't get knocked off
-Colbur Berry allows Reuniclus to work on teams without Tapu Bulu, surviving a Dark-Type attack while staying at a high amount of health, and then KOing back the Dark-Type with a boosted Focus Blast. It is also superior to Grassy Seed when having to take a Darkest Lariat from Krookodile or Zarude, but this set is more easily revenge killed by the likes of Choice Band Scizor and Choice Band Azumarill just make this about colbur pros and usage rather than seed comparison

Paragraph 2

-Reuniclus is best used in balance and Semi-Stall teams as a reliable eh win condition that can also check dangerous threats such as Kommo-o
- The most common teammate for Reuniclus is Tapu Bulu to set Grassy Terrain, allowing Reuniclus to consume its Grassy Seed. It also provides passive recovery making it easier to set up, is a good Knock Off absorber and Krookodile check, and with Swords Dance, it can remove Tangrowth with a +2 Megahorn and Aegislash with a +2 High Horsepower
-Knock Off absorbers like Amoonguss, Tangrowth and Buzzwole for opposing pokemon trying to Knock Off Reuniclus's Grassy Seed before it can activate it.
-Spikes Mew can support Reuniclus by Will-O-Wisping foes like Scizor and Krookodile, the latter with Colbur Berry as Mew's item and also by wearing down offensive checks to Reuniclus with Spikes like Swords Dance Scizor and Choice Scarf Jirachi.
-Checks to dangerous threats such as Chandelure, like Chansey and Umbreon, who can handle Hex sets but they have to watch out for Trick on Choice Specs sets, and Earthquake Kommo-o can check Choice Specs Chandelure, but struggles against Hex variants, and Aegislash, like Amoonguss and Assault Vest Tangrowth, who can scout Aegislash's set and either stay in or go to another teammate that beats that set this is too wordy.

Paragraph 1
-Future Sight allows Reuniclus to support teammates who might struggle against the likes of Amoonguss and Buzzwole, making them unable to switch in the turn Future Sight takes effect on without fainting. Examples of teammates are Conkeldurr and Buzzwole itself these r ok but I think there are more relevant mons that work here
-Knock Off cripples the opposing team by getting rid of important items like Heavy-Duty-Boots on Stealth Rock weak pokemon like Salamence, Moltres, and Noivern, or an Assault Vest from Tangrowth and Amoonguss.
-With Shadow Ball, Reuniclus can deal solid damage against threats like Aegislash, Galarian Slowbro and Mew instead of getting walled by them after knocking them off.
-With Focus Blast, Reuniclus can punish Dark-types like Krookodile and Zarude trying to come in on a Future Sight.
-Regenerator allows Reuniclus to function as a good pivot into special attackers like Keldeo, Primarina, and Nihilego while regenerating most of the damage this foes do after switching out.
- 248 HP and 200 SpDef evs allow Reuniclus to survive 2 Choice Specs Hydro Pumps from Primarina if Stealth Rocks aren't up, and retaliate with a Knock Off to drastically reduce its power. just replace with 16+ SpA Reuniclus Focus Blast vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Krookodile: 312-368 (94.2 - 111.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock and can keep this as a general comment on its bulk

Paragraph 2
-Unlike Calm Mind Reuniclus, this set fits best on more offensive teams who appreciate Future Sight and Knock Off support, and also appreciate Reuniclus's capability to heal itself without wasting a turn to do so.
-It is very reliant on its Assault Vest to take strong special attacks, so a Knock Off absorber like Amoonguss, Rocky Helmet Tangrowth, Buzzwole, or Cobalion is necessary.
-Teammates that can abuse Future Sight support like the afromentioned Conkeldurr and Buzzwole, or Mienshao.
-Dark-Types like Krookodile and Galarian Moltres uh i mean this works against the ghosts but not so much against other darks? id just split into two points who can take advantage of Ghost and Dark-Type moves aimed at Reuniclus
-A Pokemon that can take on multiple U-Turns from foes such as Scizor, Zarude and Mienshao like Salamence, Buzzwole or Moltres
this seems pretty short so try to include some defensive partners

Swords Dance Knock Off can lose if Reuniclus Calm Minds on the switch and hits Focus Blast enough times, but it wins if Reuniclus is forced to recover on the switch. **Dark-Types **: Krookodile and Zarude can 2HKO Grassy Seed Reuniclus with Darkest Lariat, which isnt enough to beat it but they can revenge it or put it in range for a teammate to revenge, but that is not possible against Colbur Berry. Galarian Moltres is the bigger problem, since thanks to its Flying-Type it is not weak to Focus Blast, can make this portion less typechart and say smth like it can nasty plot can break w fiery wrath and with Nasty Plot it can boost itself faster than Reuniclus can.

Reuniclus is a win condition with solid bulk and Magic Guard, allowing it to set up on Pokemon reliant on passive damage such as Chansey, Celesteela and Spikes Mew, and Pokemon that are unable to deal enough damage to it like Krookodile and Kommo-o, but faces competition from Galarian Slowbro, who can more easily check Pokemon like Tapu Bulu, can absorb Toxic Spikes, has Regenerator to stay at a high amount of health and try to sweep even when its forced to take a hit from Pokemon such as Chandelure, and can cripple its checks like Scizor with Scald burns, and Taunt Mew with Sludge Bomb poisons respectively. Do you realize how long this sentence is. AV is now the main set so you should be talking about it first and the utility that provides. Shorten your comments about its CM set. However, Reuniclus can break through Pokemon like Chansey and Celesteela more easily, and opposing Calm Mind users like Galarian Slowbro and Raikou, and it doesn't struggle as much against the likes of Nidoqueen, Kommo-o, and Mamoswine. Aside from facing competition, Reuniclus's suffers from having a really low speed, meaning it can be forced out by powerful wallbreakers like Scizor, Aegislash and Choice Specs Chandelure, and its reliance on items means it has to watch out for Trick from users like Jirachi too. If you are going to say it's reliant on its item then only refer to the AV set. CM sets aren't that bothered, in some cases, it could be more beneficial for taking a weaker Knock Off, the most common Dark-type move.

Paragraph 1
Reuniclus has moves to support its teammates, like Future Sight, which allows teammates who might struggle against the likes of Amoonguss and Buzzwole to get past them, making them unable to switch in the turn Future Sight takes effect on without fainting, Examples of teammates being Keldeo and Krookodile, and Knock Off, I'm not really sure why you are trying to merge this Knock Off bit into the same sentence because it reads weirdly. Just merge the examples into your first line where you say 'allows teammates...' which cripples the opposing team by getting rid of important items like Heavy-Duty-Boots on Stealth Rock weak pokemon Pokemon like Salamence, Moltres, and Noivern, or an Assault Vest from Tangrowth and Amoonguss. Reuniclus can also exert offensive pressure by itself with Focus Blast, punishing Dark-Ttypes like Krookodile and Zarude trying to come in on a Future Sight. Regenerator allows Reuniclus to function as a good pivot into special attackers like Keldeo, Primarina, and Nihilego while regenerating most of the damage this these foes do after switching out, and in combination with its great bulk, this allows it to take on powerful wallbreakers like Choice Specs Primarina and Choice Specs Keldeo. You're just repeating info

Paragraph 2

This Reuniclus set fits best on offensive teams who appreciate Future Sight and Knock Off support, and also appreciate Reuniclus's capability to heal itself without wasting a turn to do so, but it is very reliant on its Assault Vest to take strong special attacks, so a Knock Off absorber like Amoonguss, Rocky Helmet Tangrowth, Buzzwole, or Cobalion is necessary, alongside a teammate that can abuse Future Sight support like the afromentioned aforementioned Keldeo and Krookodile, or Mienshao, and alongside a Knock Off absorber, Dark-Ttypes like Krookodile, Zarude, and Galarian Moltres who can take advantage of Ghost-Ttype moves aimed at Reuniclus, and a Pokemon that can take on multiple U-Tturns from foes such as Scizor, Zarude and Mienshao like Salamence, Buzzwole or Moltres, forming a solid defensive core. You really need to read over your work because why is this an entire sentence. Just because commas exist doesn't mean you add them everywhere to fit 4-5 points into one sentence. A defogger that can keep entry hazards out of the field, like the afromentioned aforementioned Salamence and Moltres is appreciated, to keep Reuniclus healthy enough to take on the threats it is supposed to, and a pokemon that can provide speed control, since Reuniclus teams tend to be quite slow. This can come either by priority moves (Scizor, Mamoswine, and Lycanroc-Dusk), or by using a Choice Scarf (Zarude, Mienshao, and Krookodile). Don't use brackets

Paragraph 1

Psyshock allows Reuniclus to immediately pressure Pokemon like Kommo-o and Nihilego unlike Stored Power, and it also beats opposing Calm Mind users like Primarina and Hatterene 1v1 unlike Psychic, and on the other side Add a full stop here Stored Power is an option to snowball through teams easier and it also makes Reuniclus a good stallbreaker since it allows you to beat Pyukumuku and non-Haze Quagsire, but you lose the ability to immediately threaten foes like Kommo-o and Nidoqueen, and Add a full stop alongside 1 of these 2 Focus Blast is chosen as the coverage move, to hit problematic Dark-Ttypes like Krookodile and Zarude, while also hitting Steel-Ttypes like Scizor and Jirachi for neutral damage. Mention how it is completely walled by Aegislash Colbur Berry allows Reuniclus to survive a Dark-Ttype attack while staying at a high amount of health, and then KO back the Dark-Type with a boosted Focus Blast. Even after consumed it will still help, since Knock Off will become 65BP.

Paragraph 2

Unlike Assault Vest Reuniclus, this set is best used in balance and Semi-Stall teams as a reliable win condition that can also check dangerous threats such as Kommo-o, and it can be supported with Knock Off absorbers like Amoonguss, Tangrowth and Buzzwole for opposing pokemon trying to activate Reuniclus's Colbur Berry, to facilitate a revenge kill from Krookodile or Zarude, Just list Dark-type checks than Knock absorbers. It really isn't as important for this set. U-Tturn switch-ins like Salamence, Moltres, and Buzzwole, since Reuniclus cannot inmediately immediately punish some users of this move, like Scizor and Jirachi, and checks to dangerous threats such as Chandelure, like Chansey and Umbreon, who can handle Hex sets but they have to watch out for Trick on Choice Specs sets, and Aegislash, like Amoonguss and Assault Vest Tangrowth, who can scout Aegislash's set and act accordingly. You should have a small statement saying how Aegislash is really problematic because it's a Steel-type immune to Focus Blast entirely.

Mention some wallbreakers in this point that can open up opportunities for Reuni to sweep

This entire paragraph is one sentence. Fix this.

=============

Mention a LO Trick Room set here.

Checks and Counters

===================

**Scizor **: Scizor is a big problem for Reuniclus, always defeating Assault Vest sets, and Calm Mind ones most times. Choice Band and Swords Dance sets with U-Tturn will win almost every time, but Swords Dance Knock Off and non Swords Dance non Choice Band sets will heavily struggle or outright lose to Calm Mind Reuniclus Non-SD and CB sets aren't really common so I fail to see the reason to state this. Also If you're going to say SD Knock loses then you have to specify that Reuni has to already be at +1 when Scizor comes in, otherwise you lose regardless of having Colbur.

**Dark-Ttypes **: Krookodile and Zarude can 2HKO Reuniclus after the Colbur Berry has been consumed with Darkest Lariat, which isnt enough to beat it but they can revenge it or put it in range for a teammate to revenge, You are all over the place with this and I think that's because you haven't factored in AV as a set. Just say Krook and Zarude threaten to revenge kill Reuniclus, but if it has Colbur Berry then it can take one hit and threaten to OHKO back with a +1 Focus Blast. but that relies on removing the Colbur Berry with another pokemon, so it can be avoided. Galarian Moltres is the bigger problem, since it has a really good special bulk, allowing it to take on Reuniclus's attacks, and with Nasty Plot it can boost itself faster than Reuniclus can.

**Trick Users**: Trick users like Jirachi, Chandelure and Rotom-Wash can trick their Choice Scarf to Reuniclus to lock it into a move, making it unable to wall what it is supposed to. This can only be done once though, and if the Reuniclus switches into another teammate, the effect is minimized, although Reuniclus still has to watch out for it, since the important part is not losing its Assault Vest Sure but I don't think this is worth its own point. These moves aren't even that common on their choiced sets other than Washtom.

Add a point about Ghost-types.
