Problem with that is it doesn't like taking SpecsMeteors to the face, but it does fine to counter Empoleon so.

Are you countering Salamence or Empoleon, I can't tell... But it doesn't counter Salamence but you quoted it, aiyaiyai... And you don't need natures/EV's if it is a sure counter even without them.
