Melmetal @ Assault Vest
Ability: Iron Fist
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 24 HP / 220 Atk / 252 SpD / 12 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Thunder Punch
- Ice Punch
- Earthquake
- Double Iron Bash

The main attraction of this team. His purpose is to KO as many pokemon as possible before he gets KO'd. I put an assault vest on him because he had atrocious special defense and this way he could body many super effective moves, such as earth power and fire blast. He is pretty powerful but I'm debating on to put more EV's into attack then speed. He OHKO's Nidoking with double iron bash, and OHKO's landorus-T with ice punch and 2HKO's garchomp with Ice Punch. He is also the main lead as most teams think I'm going Toxapex and I get some bonus damage in when they switch in or get a 1-2HKO.

Landorus-Therian @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Impish Nature
- Swords Dance
- Rock Polish
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide

Your back-up wincon. Landorus-T is pretty easy to set up unless they are running ice beam/ice punch. I set up SD twice just to make sure i can OHKO and rock polish once. They have gotten me many sweeps and can 6-0 a team very easily. He also is good for eq switch ins when melmetal is out as he can possibly get a SD up the turn.
I don't have much to say for him as his set is very simple to understand.

Toxapex @ Black Sludge
Ability: Regenerator
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 128 Def / 128 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Toxic
- Recover
- Baneful Bunker

I realized I didn't have any Bulky stallmons, so I chose a well-known one, Toxapex. His main role is to annoy the other opponent or to just Toxic-stall. I was originally running Toxic Spikes on him, but that never got much use so I instead chose Baneful bunker to give me a turn to heal with sludge. I'm running scald for burn and also Landorus as that's one of its main threats. All in all, its a basic Toxapex set.

Kartana @ Choice Band
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Leaf Blade
- Smart Strike
- Knock Off
- Sacred Sword

My revenge killer. His main role is to get his beast boost up and having a chance to sweep. He's essentially a glass cannon but can tank a few hits. I mostly use knock off as that 2HKO's most 'mons but Smart strike does some great damage and could sweep. There's nothing else to say for him.

Zapdos @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Static
EVs: 248 HP / 220 SpD / 40 Spe
Calm Nature
- Volt Switch
- Roost
- Heat Wave
- Defog

My main and only pivot. If he gets hit, I go for roost based on how much damage he takes or defogs if spikes or SR are set up. Ground-types can break the momentum as Volt-switch can't do anything. He can deal some pretty good damage in and out and can get most mons in safely such as volcarona.

Volcarona @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Fiery Dance
- Bug Buzz
- Roost
- Quiver Dance

It is a offensive roost Volcarona. It might seem a bit stupid as I tweaked with the Offensive Smogon set but it does great. it can 2HKO most mons with quiver dance set up twice. I used Heavy-Duty boots as SR does too much and if Zapdos is KO'd. Roost was used because I kept on getting KO'd too much. I was originally running Marowak-Alolan but he kept on getting OHKO'd by knock off. Volcarona was much more useful as Fiery dance gives me a chance to raise my SpAtk and it also does not get KO'd easily by knock out.

I don't have any replays as I didn't think I would post this.

I'm open to any suggestions and advice and If you do try out this team, I hope you enjoy it.

Threats:

Scarfed Tapu Lele - It completely bodies my team with psychic and its only check would be melmetal and if possible, SD rock polish Lando-T.

SlowKing: This original slowtwin can futureport easily as thunder punch 3HKO's giving it enough time to get regenerator and future sight up.

These are the only checks I have found but there's obviously more.

Hello. You have an interesting team and I hope it's been working out well for you. However, I noticed a few general flaws that could potentially hold the team back. The first thing I noticed was a lack of a Stealth Rock user, something which is always necessary. I also noticed that the team was rather slow, with the fastest Pokemon being Volcarona. Lastly, some of your set choices weren't very optimal so I tried my best to fix them.

:Dragapult: > :Kartana:: Having Kartana alongside Melmetal is somewhat repetitive as while they are a little different they're both physical attacking Steel-types with similar checks. So I'm replacing Kartana with Dragapult which provides you with much needed speed control and is generally a great pivot. The set is standard with Thunder Wave to cripple the opposing team and Hex to take advantage of the status spread. You can try other sets like Will-O-Wisp over Thunder Wave or a mixed set with Dragon Darts over Draco Meteor too.

:Slowking: > :Toxapex:: I believe that Slowking is a more fitting Water-type on this team as firstly it's a better check to Heatran which can be a threat to your team, and secondly it can use the combination of Future Sight and Teleport to help your offensive Pokemon, especially Melmetal break through the opposing team. It's also a great special wall in general that can help against things like Tapu Lele and Latios.

:Melmetal: Choice Band > Assault Vest: Assault Vest Melmetal isn't a particularly good set. The best "defensive" set is Toxic + Protect, however I believe the Choice Band set works much better here. By using Slowking's Future Sight + Teleport you can put immense pressure on the opponent with Melmetal. It also works well alongside Dragapult which can force in Pokemon like Clefable and Blissey and then U-turn into Melmetal. The set has enough Speed EVs to outrun Clefable.

:Landorus-Therian: Defensive Stealth Rock > Double Dance: As the team lacks a Stealth Rock user I changed Landorus-T to a defensive set that can set up the hazard. It also gives you a good answer to Swords Dance Garchomp who is another threat to the team. However, if you still want to use Swords Dance, you can try a Stealth Rock + SD set that can offensively pressure Defoggers better.

:Zapdos: physically defensive > specially defensive: The next change I suggest is running a physically defensive spread on Zapdos. This it to help it check Pokemon like Kartana, Rillaboom, and Scizor better.

:Volcarona: Psychic > Roost: The final change I suggest is using Psychic on Volcarona. While Roost can be useful for helping to check things like Rillaboom, Kartana, and Scizor, you already have Zapdos to do that. Therefore I suggest running the standard offensive set with Psychic to help you beat Toxapex. It's also useful if you face the rare Kommo-o or Keldeo.

This team definitely isn't perfect. For example the lack of a Ghost- or Dark-resist means that Hydreigon and opposing Dragapult can be very threatening. Although you have a lot of momentum generating moves and great offensive pressure with Future Sight + Choice Band Melmetal as well as a win condition in Volcarona, meaning you should be able to find an out in a lot of games. Good luck!

I agree with all of this and haven't even thought of SD garchomp wrecking my team as I haven't encountered it yet But thank you a lot for reviewing my team and for the suggestions. I will try this out and see if it gives me a better chance. Thank you fro the advice, dude!
