Each week I may or may not rank Top 10 SS, and Top 5 of the other tiers, based on who is playing for that week. Will try to make it a weekly thing, since the Team Power Rankings will only be a few times during the season.

SM POWER RANKINGS:

1. amukamara - amuka’s the most consistent and motivated player in the pool, and also has a fair amount of tournament pedigree. This is his tour to continue his run of dominance in this format

2. basaninho - Basaninho’s probably high motivation, great metagame familiarity, and ability to just flat out play well lands him a high placement on this list always.

3. Vival O.S. Pride - Viv’s level of comfort with this meta, fifteen billion teams, and good support from Ramo should lend well to a decent performance. Questions remain though about his motivation and ability to consistently reach his peak performance.

4. Thiago Nunes - Thiago’s a decent player in almost any metagame you slot him in, but I’m never left particularly impressed by him. I expect a middling record especially considering his building support is Sickist.

5. itsjustdrew - Drew’s motivated and ready to shake off the rust, but I was never quite blown away by his playing ability before he quit, and has almost no team support behind him. I don’t have a confident projection on his record seeing as he’s the one most likely to go onto either extreme, but as it stands
he’s the one with some of the most to prove.

6. Splash - Splash is an alright player with good team support but doesn’t have the experience or tournament pedigree of anyone above him as far as I know, so 6th feels about right for me, but he could be as high as fourth.

7. Staxi - This is an Ubers player with Estarossa as his sole building support, which I’m not super sold on, in one of the toughest pools in the tournament. It’s looking kinda grim

8. faded love - faded love is the single worst player in this tournament. He seems to be completely unaware that not every format has the blitz timer, lacks any understanding on how to effectively capitalize on advantages found in the team builder, and tilts into the shadow realm at seemingly random points and more often than not in winning positions. I expect a single win if he’s lucky and fishes well enough with Choice Scarf Togekiss or something like that.

SS UU: ojr v. jeza.p --> support orange juice, I haven't drank some for a while
SS UU: rinnegan418 v. Kitten Milk --> kitten milk is my friend for a few years and we share things in common
SS UU: SanJl v. Adrift and Alone --> SanJL has been very nice to me, Adrift and Alone has raged against me when I stalled him on the ladder lol
SM UU: basaninho v. faded love --> basa is my good friend and faded love cancered on me like 3 UUPLs ago
ORAS UU: CBU v. Moutemoute --> Moute is a top tier contributor and CBU didn't include me as a legend when he rofl rage quitted and flamed everyone last month
BW UU: FU SHUN HA v. Drud --> I think FU SHUN HA is viv's friend and I love viv
DPP UU: Mygrein v. Diophantine --> Mygrein is great he almost beat me with a meme team for a solonor tour. However diophantine is almost donphantastic who is quite energentic about this tier
ADV UU: solonor24 v. Vaboh --> solonor24 killed solonor1-23 to get his username and will surely be able to kill another here
GSC UU: Ewin v. cherryb0ng --> people who use 0 as an o in their username are probably braindead or 11
RBY UU: pacattacc v. Plague von Karma --> i like people who rhyme in their username

Tangela Ever After v. Yanmegatron and the Destroyers (4-6)

SS UU: Maple v. naviii 1 --> Maple is an actual word so I assume he's like 50 years old to get that smogon account and likely will fall asleep in his game. Navii is a top ladder player
SS UU: JustFranco v. Fathiryxi --> i think i am friends with franco
SS UU: Luirromen v. DKM --> 3 letter username vs idk
SM UU: Thiago Nunes v. Amukamara --> funny story viv made a joke about amukamara once, something like he got drafted in uupl 3 or 4 years ago because his name sounds like alolan muk. alolan muk is good in this tier imo so i think he can win
ORAS UU: RaJ.Shoot v. Cam --> uh i thought rajshoot was on my team or is that rahelgamer? sorry i'm a little racist i guess. cam is my friend
BW UU: Nalorium v. Rabia --> i think rabia is my friend and his name almost sounds like rabbit and i like rabbits
DPP UU: luisotte v. ara --> i'm beloved in the french community bc i verbally abuse ramolost who nobody in france likes so i will bold the french sounding name, ara is a nice 3 letters tho, this is hl match
ADV UU: LpZ v. Mac3 --> LpZ didn't get drafted for UU snake because stupid shitters like me who cancered week 2 got drafted. I'm sorry, I hope you win LpZ, you deserve to be well known, he kind of played exceptionally vs me in UU classic last year. Mac3 is almost a 3 letter name tho so it could be tough
GSC UU: Amaranth v. spatulakun --> this is kind of a funny name
RBY UU: Louna v. Lusch --> louna reminds me of my good friend luna bae who is no longer active rip

BW UU: Expulso v. Lilburr --> well i want to advance my uu career so this is a no brainer
DPP UU: Alkione v. McSim --> my good french friend and uupl teammate. he's quite good at mons
ADV UU: avarice v. Yami --> everybody shits on avarice and says he is a cheeser but i think it takes skill to set up screens and click boosting moves
