Charizard @ Leftovers
- Fire Blast
- Belly Drum
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake

A fan-favorite makes an appearance! Charizard finds a niche in GSC as a mixed attacker and the fastest user of Belly Drum. Its powerful Fire Blast separates Charizard from other Belly Drum users like Snorlax and allows it to OHKO physically defensive walls like Steelix and Skarmory. Rock Slide and Earthquake form a formidable attack combination that lets Charizard threaten common foes like Zapdos, Tyranitar, and Nidoking after a Belly Drum boost. To maximize Charizard's offensive capabilities, it is recommended to pair it with Explosion users and paralysis support. Explosion users like Cloyster, Steelix, Exeggutor, and Gengar can remove problematic Water- and Electric-types like Suicune and Raikou, while paralysis support from partners like Thunder Wave Zapdos and Zap Cannon Umbreon lets Charizard outspeed threats like Starmie and Gengar. Light Screen Zapdos is also a notable partner that allows Charizard to survive Electric- and Water-type attacks after using Belly Drum.

To maximize Charizard's offensive capabilities, it is recommended to pair it with partners like Cloyster and Exeggcutor. The former can set Spikes and remove bulky Water-types like Suicune and Starmie with Explosion, letting Charizard clean better, while the latter is able to provide sleep and paralysis support, allowing Charizard to beat threats like Raikou and Gengar, as well as use Explosion to handle foes like Umbreon.
Some other good team mates are Steelix (exploding on Zapdos or bulky waters, could also run Body Slam over Curse for paralysis support but +1 attack ensures you can take out Suicune from full HP) and Gengar (exploding on electrics). In general anything that is good at spreading paralysis can be good e.g. Thunder Wave Starmie/Zapdos, Zap Cannon Umbreon (also can try to take out Gengar with Pursuit).
Exeggutor helping to deal with Gengar is misleading, as it usually switches out of Exeggutor (might use Hypnosis if it has it). It is still a great team mate though, as it gets checked by Sleep Talk electrics or Suicune very often.
Umbreon is not a good check for Charizard (Zap Cannon is rare). In fact, Umbreon is usually one of the best mons Zard can use to setup on.
I'd also mention Light Screen support (usually from Zapdos) as option to allow Zard to survive electric or water attacks after drumming.
