So when I stopped playing Pokemon TSS was still playable, do people still do TSS teams or spikes teams at all anymore. I know that this format is more Attack oriented but I am fairly curious since there is nothing really written about D/P and no articles that I can find. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
 
Uhh...

Stall teams do still exist, but they're kinda in a "lull" right now. You could say that there are "stealth rock" (new entry hazard) teams, but most, if not all, teams use stealth rock.

A stall team is a team that uses passive damage for a win. Stuff like SR, Spikes, TSpikes, and hail or sand storm. Through this, by whittiling down opponents pokemon and teams, well, yeah.

These teams arn't everywhere, but, yeah.

You're bound to come across one. Probably obis. :]
 
Well I haven't been battling online, I'm waiting until I pretty much beat ingame to even think about returning competatively, I don't even have the program anymore and last I heard Smogon was making a new one iirc. What's the deal with that anyways?

I use a mac, so it's out of the question for me.
 
I too use a mac. Competitors coming along, check the main site's news and you'll see what I mean. And last time heard it would work on all systems.
 
There used to be a major Choice Scarf trend, where almost everything had a Choice Scarf (I even saw choice scarf Weaviles) but stall kinda killed it. There was also a lot of life orb sweepers on Shoddy for a while, but that also got killed by stall.

Nowadays, Substitute users are becoming more common as a way to beat stall teams. Hail teams have died somewhat, but sandstorm still lives on.


BTW, Lord Sunday, if you have a mac, does your shoddy game lack an items tab as well? ever since I updated to 10.5 it ceased to exist... no point in playing without items T_T

I use a Mac and I still have an Items tab.
