Alright, folks. Throughout the weeks I've been gone, I've done a little searching, I've done a little talking, and I've done a little trolling. I have acquired some information about Smogon.com's future which I believe you will find interesting. Don't show this to the mods...

  • Chaos will be stepping down as owner of Smogon, citing "too many girls throwing themselves at me". His successor will be The 2nd coming.
  • Due to economic inflation, it will require 3 likes to raise your reaction score.
  • Buying [404 CONTENT NOT FOUND] for $3 a month will give you exclusive access to Firebot 2
  • You are no longer allowed to speak in anything other than irony in Smogoff
  • To celebrate Smogoff's 1st anniversary, tier lists are allowed again!
  • BP's drunk threads will continue to be put in Greatest Hits, and the subforum will be renamed Big Penis' Gallery
  • A new official metagame will be released where all the Pokemon allowed are chosen from the /randpoke command. I'm not sure of the name yet.
  • theyre going to add sex to smogon

Good chap, I think you bloody well did hit on the future of Smogoff with this thread!

The fact that you put a cursive signature at the end of your post makes your post feel distinguished. It makes your post feel dignified. It's like I got a letter from a member of the nobility, like the Duke of Wales or the Earl Spencer or some other person who didn't actually do anything besides get lucky when they were born.

This more formal letter-like format puts the curt and undignified posting of Smogoff to shame. To shame I say! Smogoff, the crown jewel of Smogon, deserves a more aristocratic packaging for its communication. All smogoff posts deserve to have a cursive signature. What's more, all smogoff posts deserve to have a formal opener.

Allow me to provide an example:
