idea definitely not resurrected (spooky joke) from a banned user

do u think zombies retain their moral compass/aversion to eating meat when they zombify or do they simply no longer care about the suffering of animals etc.. discuss.

Its like spiderman in the what if zombie marvel verse. Spiderman would be hungry, go on a hunger rage and then cry afterwards because he ate Aunt May and rinse and repeat.

not to get too real but I gotta explain my logic here, veganism on some level is very often borne out of a belief that humans possess a much more potent ability to recognize the consequences of their actions and a sort of abject morality that comes with the responsibility of knowing that kind of information.
and say, a cat cannot be judged for killing and eating a bird because they are not capable of considering the impact that comes with that death.

so if a vegan became a zombie, under most interpretations a zombie is a mindless existence that cannot process the impact of killing and eating another being and that would be offered the same grace as an animal and a natural occurrence in the world for it cannot be helped, it does not and will forever be incapable of knowing any better.

now there is an interesting exception in the left 4 dead series, where the comics reveal the perspective of someone infected with the zombie virus and instead of true mindlessness it forces a kind of constant psychosis where all uninfected humans are seen as devils or monsters but I argue this too sidesteps the potential to become vegan as it's an unnatural and irrational forced perspective that pushes out the ability to recognize anybody else as an other with their own thoughts and lifes, merely a kind of pure distilled concept of an enemy and a threat. fighting against that isn't against the vegan creed, thus I would argue a vegan left 4 dead zombie eating brains is still in essence a vegan
