with the sudden crash in the react market and the rise of NFTPs (Non-Fungible Trophy Points), i felt it was important to protect my fellow posters from destitution
that's why i am proud to announce a new, safer currency—the posting point
when you hear this noise, you'll know your future is secure, because you've just been awarded a posting point!!
how does it work?
posting points can be awarded by any user to any user other than themselves, but only ever one at a time. this means that for each posting point you award, a new post must be created. awarding a posting point does not reduce your current level of posting points. instead, each award creates a new posting point, and points remain your own. that's how you know this is a good currency; we just make more of them based on how good the points are
in order to award a posting point, just reply to a post and let the poster know you've given them a posting point!
how do i keep track of my posting points?
take care of the posting pennies, and the posting pounds will take care of themselves!! posters may choose to keep track of their posting points in any way they desire. perhaps in their about section, their signature, their custom title, or even as their username (you'll need to request a name change every time you receive a posting point)
what if someone LIES about how many posting points they have?
that would be an insane thing to do
however, in the case of a tricky posting point embezzler then an audit process will be conducted by todd bonzalez himself and the true total determined.
ok, how do i spend them?
posting points are accrued year-long, to be redeemed in a special end-of-year bonanza. this is completely different to reacts for trophy points. i don't know why you'd even bring that up
