Ghost/Grass is fail for the same reasons Celebi gets so pwned these days, and she has 600 BST. Seven weaknesses is a shitload to overcome.

Edit: Six weaknesses. Forgot that Poison is neutral. Boy, that makes a BIG difference....

So a Kirby-Esque Pumpkin? The Body/Face being the Pumpkin, with small arms and Legs? Sounds.....intersting.......Could work I 'spose.

The rock weak sucks, but I didn't realize the other weaknesses were so uncommon. That's kinda cool.

What would be the concept? The Burning Bush? Ouch, don't wanna start a religion posting-war if we went there...

Defensive spiking ghost/steel with levitate FTW

the fire/grass type could be a chili pepper. come to think of it fire would've been my second choice
 
I was thinking of a pumpkin head with glowing eyes/mouth and thorny vines.

EDIT: Haha I spelled it pumpking and immediately I know that I'm thinking of the Yu-Gi-Oh! card.

There you go, Fire/Water. It shoot oil at it's foe so giving it some ability to ignite said oil would be cool

I'm liking the chili pepper idea, but I also like the combinations Grass/Electric and Grass/Steel.

Heh, that monster was actually my inspiration for the idea. Except, in FFVII terms, being made of oil actually made him weak to Fire attacks.
 
What's wrong with it being just a pumpkin head with vines? I think it's a cool idea. Lots of Grass pokes are basically just plants with faces.

Water/Fire is a pistol shrimp, hands down.
 
I think if this gets to the point where we find a type combination and concept that just suits a current Pokemon too perfectly, we could always go back and vote again on the New Pokemon/Evolution round. I'm sure Game Freak has had a few occasions where a new Pokemon concept designed from scratch ends up becoming an evolution anyway.

It's so much easier if someone's on your side. I won't jump into forum debates otherwise, even when I'm right. (oh god that shedinja argument on serebii was terrible)
