Ftr I read through the smogon rewind game a bit and I think that texas then and texas here are quite similar albeit everyone is a lot less aggressive, sidenote that day one was really stupid I have no clue why people got that heated

It’s less of me trying to say “there’s no way it’s me because I’m town because I say so!!!1!1!1”and more of, I don’t know what actual information is available to actually make said read on me, if that makes sense

Wait, so the reasoning behind the suspicion of Texas is the submission + prior game meta/similarities from past games of mafia?

I feel like that's reasonable, but I feel like lowkey a lot of people have been decently trolly, I'm just wondering how it translates into the specifics for Texas. I don't really know the player meta for mafia/this pl other than Starhome participants in other social games, so I guess I don't have the nuance right now to firmly get the read.

I wasn't really looking to create pressure w/ those votes, moreso just voicing what I think.
The reason I'm on Vizh isn't really something I can pressure them on... at least idt I can.
Haven't read rest of thread, just saw this notification and wanted to address it just before dinner. If there's been any developments, I'll post a new list. Might take Sam's advice on board.

39-51. nothing super scummy here as far as I'm aware? just jumping in with normal conversational stuff. jumping in on the random voting kinda raises questions but its ultimately minor

57. kind of a strange question to ask? it's like "what am I doing that's making people believe I'm town" so he can get more information about his perception and use that to avoid suspicion


189, 431. both clarifications but also both general restatements that dont really move discussion forward too much. it's like he wants to insert himself into conversation so people see him being present but hes not actually contributing anything new

430. "no reads cause its day 1" is the main red flag here for me. I understand the sentiment since as a newbie it's hard to make any reads since we dont really know as much but I feel like even a "this person seems town" or "x is a little shaky" is something that you can share?

434. "what am I doing that's making you suspect me so i can course correct" similar to 57

436. this ones relatable tbh

438. minor but weird since whydon hasnt posted as much as some people

486-491. no real thoughts on these? 491 isnt bad but I'm not sure how to read the neutrality of it

499. extremely confusing tbh and I'd appreciate other peoples takes on it. defending someone who's voting you after theyve been discredited is odd and I could easily see it as either him being town who's tring me and doesnt want me getting pushed for mistakenly pushing him OR scum who just wants me to think hes good and take my vote off him

528. this one is understandable tbh

overall vizh has been posting but isnt really contributing his own perspective on things and it feels more like "hey guys I'm here! I'm helping!" hope this is what you're looking for and that it can help in any way! sorry if this is all just about of nonsense LMAO

here's what we're going to do then.

like i said before, i have an angleshoot on at least one person being scum. there is i guess a very specific circumstance in which they could POSSIBLY be town, but that circumstance is so small that we just lynch one of them today. and i know everyone here will agree with me.

assuming nobody chews me out for using it, i'm going to say who the first scum is. i'll announce my lynch order when i hammer, and post my salad picture in that hammer also. anybody else who submits is getting massively lynched.

point is that either i live with the extra vote or scum nightkills me, i think both are pretty good for town and i've talked before on why i think it's good to have a strong NK target

if people aren't a fan of me using the angleshoot today, i can do what i suggested earlier, fuck off for the rest of the day, and come back tomorrow?
