Yo this mon hits fucking different please put this in natdex

My favorite thing is that this is a world of fire rats and space ducks yet somehow one on the most dangerous attackers period is literally just a bear. It doesn't have ice beams or eye lasers. It just fucking mauls you with regular animal claws. This thing deals more damage than the deitys that control space and time, the avatar of death, the ruler of the underworld, and the entity that created the universe.

I can bearly believe it.

Reject dishonorable super effectiveness. Embrace Normal supremacy. Oh, you need BoltBeamEdgeQuake to beat generic metagame threat? Click Explosion once and get back to me. Or don't. I won't hear you over my zero-cost 140BP sound move. Normal stronk.

?????

There are no new abilities, and the ones assigned to the new Pokémon are right at the source. I don't think you checked.

EDIT: Apparently, our own Hematite went and did us one better:

If it is anything like Ursaring in the anime then no it does not have eye lasers. It has a mouth laser instead.

I think Guts Ursaluna might have a space on mono-Ground. Burn can wreck havok on Ground teams. I've always wanted a Guts user that could switch into Will-o-Wisps without a care.

I've thought about this and I think this mon quite easily ends up slotting over Hippowdon on Sandless variants. Essentially has the same spread as Hippowdon with a much higher attack stat.

Thank you thank you

I don’t see any of the Hisuian mons being able to transfer to SwSh or BDSP. I think GF is prepping for Gen 9. Riddler Khu has already stated Gen 9 will be announced this year.
Well definitely not BDSP, certainly, BDSP doesnt even have Alolan compatibility.

Hum. We found in the code of BDSP traces of a message like 'Region : Alola', but which was stating 'Ancient Sinnoh', and which was different from the message put on Mons transferred from DPP to BDSP. So wouldn't be too sure about that.

By the way, I'm curious, but from what I've seen I think this is the list of the "Noble" Pokemon and the "Ride" Pokemon we've seen thus far, and if I'm reading this right, we have the following known so far:

NOBLES:
- Kleavor
- Hisuian Lilligant
- Hisuian Arcanine
- Hisuian Avalugg

RIDE POKEMON:
- Wyrdeer
- Basculegion
- Hisuian Braviary
- Ursaluna
- Sneasler

The question remains though: Who is the fifth Noble Pokemon? There are known to be five major sub-areas within Hisui, and there's likely one Noble Pokemon and one Ride Pokemon in each area, but so far I've only seen four confirmed Noble mons so far. So who's the fifth?

Doesn't really take a leaker for this.
If GF sticks to the regular release schedule, Gen 9 will come out this autumn/winter and we'll likely hear an announcement of it somewhere around May or June.

Gen 7 games had Go compatibility messages yet Go compatibility didn't come until later halfway in gen 8.
GF likes to put stuff in their data for future reference or just id compatibility even if they end up not using it (shoutout to basically every single item data still being carried over, including gems, z-crystals and megastones). The presence of a line in the game code doesn't really prove much.

It's all new pokemon so it doesn't take a lot to go through the list of new pokes and figure who could it be.

Personally I'd not be surprised if the last Noble is either the genie or straight up doesn't exist and you have to deal with the plot arc with Arceus/Palkia/Dialga instead.

Braviary has ways to actually abuse Sheer Force with strong STAB Psychic moves at least. Why does it keep Defiant though if its now primarily a Special Attacker? Odd choice.

Hustle is always a goofy ability on fast Pokemon if Durant in lower tiers has taught us anything. Hustle Close Combat with a Choice Band? Jeez. New Lilligant form actually looking not THAT shabby, akin to a diet Mega Medicham. Unless they screw over its movepool a ton, which I imagine might be the case.
I'd point out we got Moxie on a special attacker so getting this weirdness has precedent

Forms are different from location data.

You will likely be able to take a Rotom from SWSH to Home to BDSP, or a Rotom from LA to Home to BDSP

You will almost certainly not be able to take Hisui Arcanine from LA to Home To BDSP and wont be able to take an Alolan Sandshrew from SWSH to Home to BDSP
