@ the vizh thing might be biased from what I expect from newer people but the last time I saw a scum slip claim it led to former and ds arguing for 50 pages and it wasn’t even right iirc so im a little traumatized
I think semantically it’s a fair thing to read for but vizh seems so awkward (the movie thing made me laugh af though) so im not gonna push on it rn
would be more interested if you guys find his posts indicative of like newer town or scum in context tho

our role pms are basically the same, to paraphrase: your ability is tied to (person who i'm pretty sure is harunos flavour) who i know exists, if you target them you make a private message channel
he has my flavor name in his pm so its clear enough to me

slowly working my way through the thread from the start (this current convo has derailed that a bit), my present thought is that the arsonist role is not one we should let live unless we have a mechanically certain way to prevent them from ending the game with their victory condition, there's also the possibility that their dousing is a cult like role with a fakeclaim as i'm remembering an old game I played where the black goos ran away with it, which is to say in principle i'm okay with letting the slot live but its a risk i prefer not to take, thread diving is still in memey territory so havent uncovered much except some stuff on my biggest sr atm
