kinda a perspective slip when you discredit "2 year old meta" on you, but are now asking for the same kind of meta on whydon. It's been around two years since anybody here has played on smogon, so if meta is reliable for whydon it is for you as well.

i also townleaned spiderz but have reverted to a neutral stance on the offchance that scum are taking the opportunity to throttle the idea that spiderz is one of 'the most town' and clear his name

i’ve been busy its not my fault that I can’t carry the thread like I had been, anyways who do you suspect is throttling me like you are suggesting and where are my fluffy day one posts you speak of?? Also it’s not just the fact that dyo claimed the cop on hal night 1 its that plus the fact he also died night one

Note the absolute lack of progression. M2H had an early tr and a late sr and they are literally the only person to appear in both lists, and only once. Eli was shaded from the start of D1 and that has continued. Caff and Clouds were towny in RVS in their view and still are just town, when they've had a v rocky path through this game with a lot of town and scum cred at various points. He threw one Haruno tr and now Haruno is dead. Beyond that, Laurel has only scumread, basically saying no one is town.

realiti seemed to be a top scumread and now he's completely dropped that. Not saying he changed his mind, just ignoring his existence

Almost all of his reads involve more active players and he's never commented on others. shadowpea he scumread toward EoD2 but that's it and he didn't provide reasoning, and Dyo he only scumread through Spiderz.

Speaking of, Spiderz is by far and away one of the most active players this game and he was just, never mentioned or read by Laurel? Which is weird considering Laurel's complete focus on active players.

Laurel's brought up DLE as a scumread frequently with basically no reasoning, and DLE has literally not been here so what's up with that

right anyways, I wanted to pressure Laurel yday and today more but everytime I try to talk to him while he’s online he kinda dodges all pressure and I think I am much better at reading someone when we are conversing on thread, regardless laurel is still a strong scumread for me and I’m not really buying the whole “good job spiderz” pocket attempt esp when laurel hasnt even given an actual read on me also the read progression on dyo for him felt BEYOND artificial if you read back on it. I do think that dyo and laurel feel like a scum v scum interaction because their interaction felt like a distance attempt like laurel was trying to catch credit on the read randomly so he can have that credibility on his other bullshit pushes lol. Literally it felt like none of his pushes has had any actual analysis or solving to back it up and yet he is so stagnant and confident in his pushed which weirds me out because I have no clue where he’s getting that confidence from, like I barely see him analyze any real posts beyond a simple one liner or asking people random questions
 
FTR I believe Dyo, I think his tone shift inbetween days was very interesting and if his role is typically for scum then that makes sense.

But I think Dyo has a good point people are dismissing as nonsense, which is that he would definitely 100% ask if role claiming would help him look town in mafia-chat.

voting Dyo to me implies that y’all believe he’s performing 3 layers of reverse psychology. Which is valid but I think very improbable.
