SPOILERS! Pokemon Legends: Arceus *Leak Thread*

When its fire is active, Hisuian Typhlosion reminds me of Akuma.

You've got the little balls of fire that resemble prayer beads (prayer beads aren't a thing specific to Akuma, but I'm positive they're what the flames supposed to look like), and then the big plume of fire kinda looks like Akuma's hair.

More Pokemon Nio references, althought my money is on H-Typhlo's flames representing Hitodama Lights.

My Team.JPG

Here is the team I plan on using! I was originally going to go with Overqwil, but the lack of physical dark moves is upsetting. So instead I have these guys playing the following roles:

H-Typhlosion: Fast Special Attacker
Kleavor: Fast Physical Attacker
H-Goodra: Bulky Special Attacker (special defense wall)
H-Avalugg: Bulky Physical Attacker (physical defense wall)
H-Electrode: Fast Special Attacker
Lumineon: Bulky and Fast

Late reply, but this is insanely helpful, thank you!! Seems like I’m definitely at the very least going to be using Hisuian Decidueye, Kleavor, and Hisuian Goodra. I also want to use Hisuian Zoroark and Alolan Ninetales, but they’re both very lategame, so we’ll see if they work out.

Well the one on the left is clearly Looker, so he's either implying at a DLC/Patch for BDSP, or the possibility that Looker will be in gen 9

By the way quoting myself from the non-leak topic

Did people figure what does using Strong Style on buffs/status do?
Agile makes buffs 1 turn default 2 turn strong 3 turns it only counts the players turns status effect are also turn limited but no info on how many turns and whether or not the styles effect them

Bumping the Team Planner and Pokedex Pokemon locations to make them easier to find. The Pokemon Locations also has an In-Game Tips/Spoilers tab and two things really stood out to me.

In-Game Tips/Spoilers said:
10. You cannot save before distortion and reset to find it still there
Glad to know this one in advance. I would've tried this sooner or later.
In-Game Tips/Spoilers said:
14. Status effects last 3 Turns in battle
...Between being forced to battle with Pokemon that know only attacks, the cutscene where someone tells you to attack them, and this... Game Freak, how many of you hate me?

Might as well share my planned team and why I picked them since so many people are sharing too

I just like using my starter and Typhlosion is one of my favorites. I'd be going with him even if there weren't Regional Variants. Also, Mystic Fire looks fun to spam if every use resets the number of turns the Attack debuff lasts and the sceenshot I saw if it next to the palyer looked like just the right height to make me want to pet it. <3

Wyrdeer is just for a Ghost Resist that's catchable early and everything else I wanted to use was new, so why not go all in with new Pokemon/Forms? It was either this or Samurott but I don't know how rare Space-Time Distortions are.

Lilligant's Victory Dance looks so OP. Boosting all stats, giving Double Hit's x1.5 Damage effect, and being able to heal with Drain Punch and Recover sounds hilariously broken. Nowere near as broken as the Legend Plate, but still broken.

Goodra's a cute defensive Steel type. How can I say no to that? (Side note: I really hope we can evolve Goomy from previous games into Hisuan Goodra in Gen 9 for transfer only moves like Toxic.)

Zoroark is awesome and I want to use it at least once. I'd love to try and fail to use it defensively in main games, but I'm pretty sure it won't learn any "offensive" Status Moves. (RIP TM 06 Toxic... Hopefuly, Spite or Roar will return.)

Parasect comes early, learns False Swipe and Spore for catching Pokemon in a game where that's an even more major part of the game, and is something I'd be happy to replace if I find a Shiny. (Guarentee Shinies aren't special enough to be worth replacing Parasect.)

It better have the power of anime and friendship as tool to defeat god or i'll be disappointed.
If it doesn't happen in the game, you know where it will happen? The anime.

Might as well join the trend!

Been on team Basculegion since day 1, and Overqwil is too sick to leave out. Arcanine I could honestly take or leave but you should never discount a fire type in game, especially in Hisui/Sinnoh. Ursaluna Im surprised I like so much, very powerful looking mon too. and lastly, Nagito- I mean Zoroark, for the coolness factor and a special sweeper since I Just realized my Sp.A is horrifcly stunted.

Here's the Pokemon Location Spreadsheet with specific location names and evolution methods alongside Unown locations and general questions answered.

Cogita (The other Cynthia ancestor) gives the Legendary quests.

i've been following this thread for a while and since this list exists and ive hit the postgame in my own early playthrough, and since people are talking ingame team planning, i went ahead and roughly ordered all the pokemon by area, in the loose order you can find them in:

https://pastebin.com/LYt6i39M

sorry if i missed anything, most of this was from the above doc but i did double check map locations ingame (and i can personally confirm magnemite and porygon appear in area 1 time distortions which isnt on the doc, i caught mine very very early through sheer luck)

edit: also completely unrelated but i didnt see it anywhere: was it known that using spark removes drowsy now, the same way using some fire moves removes freeze in older games? i found it by accident and i have no idea if any other moves do, thunder shock didn't seem to do it

Enamorus' signature move has different effects depending on its form. Incarnate's effect is a 30% chance of an omniboost. It also has Contrary. Trollfreak has topped itself yet again. (FYI Therian's effect is a 30% chance of dropping attacks and defenses)
so lets see anyone know it fully?
Its drops the opponent def ?

yeah she is not mythical!!not even close to mythical
her design woulld be far greater if she was(i dont even wanna think of a movie with this design....but it is decent)

Just saying but why anyone would think that Enamorus is a mythical Pokémon?
The Forces of Nature aren't mythical themselves, in fact, they are also known by some fans as Legendary Genies.

EDIT:
It has a unique signature move called Chloroblast (The user launches its amassed chlorophyll to inflict damage on the target. This also damages the user and lowers the user’s action speed.), it is a pretty strong move of 120BP at 95Acc (5PP) and lowers its own Speed when used.
"...This also damages the user and lowers the user’s action speed."
By action speed, it means that the user looses a turn as if it was using a Strong-style move. It doesn't actually lowers the Speed stat we all know about.

You are a godsend. Do you happen to know how early/late Alolan Vulpix’s quest is? Alolatales is one of my very favorite ‘mons so it would be amazing to be able to play through at least a decent chunk of the game with it.

Still very tentative on getting the game, but my team would likely look something like this:
1643197024378.png

Yes, Unown is there. Yes, I am being serious here. While I'm not committing to a full status-only playthrough, I still don't want to be throwing out basic high-power moves constantly. Hidden Power being automatically SE makes it a genuinely good option when restriced to 60 power or less. Of course, I am still hoping that most of my damage can come from damage over time effects, hence the burn/frostbite/poison core with extra splinters users.

This will definitely not be the team I 100% commit to for most of my first run because I'd like to give a bunch of different mons a try (hell, I have to agree with Ironmage above, Unown actually sounds kinda fun now, might run with one for a bit LMAO), but this comp will likely be what I use late/final game. I mainly wanted to ensure I used mons I thought were cool/neat, to hit every type super effectively with STAB, and try to have either an immunity or a resist to each type, as well. I'm a bit water-weak, but I feel Empoleon, Lilligant, and even Gardevoir can handle it with their anti-water coverage.
