move 3: Scale Shot
move 4: Fire Fang / Stone Edge
item: Leftovers
ability: Rough Skin
nature: Jolly

[SET COMMENTS]
Garchomp is a dangerous setup sweeper with a better Speed stat under its belt. Swords Dance allows it to break past sturdy walls such as Corviknight and Landorus-T. Earthquake is strong and reliable, threatening common Pokemon such as Heatran and Galarian Slowking. Scale Shot allows Garchomp to attack while further raising its Speed, making it more difficult to revenge kill. Fire Fang targets Grass-type foes that can handle Earthquake like Tangrowth and Ferrothorn, as well as others like Skarmory and Corviknight, providing perfect neutral coverage alongside Earthquake and Scale Shot. Stone Edge can be used instead to heavily damage Yveltal, Mandibuzz, and Ho-Oh, with the former two heavily threatening Garchomp with Foul Play and the latter with a burn from Sacred Fire. Leftovers provides longevity as Garchomp sets up.

Garchomp best fits on bulky offense teams as a late-game sweeper or hyper offense ones as a wallbreaker. A Speed donation from Zamazenta, Pheromosa, or Mewtwo helps it force more offensive Pokemon out such as Zygarde-10% and Noivern, allowing it to get a Swords Dance up more easily. Entry hazards, like Ferrothorn's Spikes and Heatran's Stealth Rock, compound damage throughout the game, putting Pokemon like Buzzwole and Slowking in Garchomp's KO range late-game. Magnezone can trap and eliminate Corviknight and Skarmory, making it a great partner. Special attackers that invite Heatran and Galarian Slowking in, especially those with a pivot move like Tapu Koko or Tornadus-T, are also great options. Pokemon such as Weavile and Kartana work with Garchomp to overwhelm shared checks, allowing one to sweep. The latter can also break past physically defensive Unaware walls like Clefable and Quagsire, which Garchomp can't get past. Dual screens support from the likes of Alolan Ninetales and Grimmsnarl helps Garchomp set up safely and remedies its Defense drop from Scale Shot. Scale Shot's inconsistency can make bulky Flying-type Pokemon, namely Ho-Oh and Landorus-T, troublesome, making teammates that can take advantage of them like Urshifu-R and Cloyster valuable. Psychic Surge from Tapu Lele can prevent priority attacks like Weavile's Ice Shard from exploiting Scale Shot's Defense drop.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Garchomp can forgo Scale Shot or one of its coverage moves for Stealth Rock. Fire Blast and a Special Attack donation threaten some of its checks like Skarmory and Corviknight better. A defensive set with a Defense donation and Rocky Helmet is possible, but the reliance on Wish and cleric support makes it hard to justify. Life Orb can increase its damage output, although it makes Garchomp more prone to priority moves such as Grassy Glide. Similarly, an Adamant nature leaves it outsped by more offensive Pokemon post-donation, like Tapu Koko and Noivern, but is an option on Scale Shot sets.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Physically Defensive Pokemon**: Hippowdon, Buzzwole, Skarmory, Tangrowth, and Corviknight can switch in and sponge any attack from Garchomp if it hasn't set up. They can then disrupt its sweep attempt with Whirlwind, Toxic, Stun Spore, or setup of their own.

**Unaware Walls**: Pyukumuku, Clefable, and Quagsire have no trouble handling Garchomp thanks to ignoring its boosts and healing its damage.

**Ice-type Coverage**: Ice Beam from Tyranitar or Ice Punch from Buzzwole can surprise Garchomp and heavily damage it, if not outright OHKO.

**Faster Pokemon and Priority Users**: Pokemon with Choice Scarf like Tapu Lele or a Speed-boosting ability like Arctozolt can outspeed and revenge kill Garchomp before Scale Shot, but only then. Alternatively, priority moves such as Ice Shard from Mamoswine and Weavile and Grassy Glide from Rillaboom can take advantage of the Defense drops from Scale Shot.

**Status**: Garchomp struggles to do its job properly if it is statused. Burn cuts its damage in half, paralysis from Tangrowth or Amoonguss makes it far easier to outspeed and revenge kill, and poison puts its sweep on a timer.

Garchomp is a dangerous setup sweeper, especially with a better Speed stat under its belt. Earthquake is Garchomp's strongest STAB option, threatening common Pokemon such as Heatran and Slowking-G. Fire Fang targets Grass-type foes that can handle Earthquake like Tangrowth and Ferrothorn, as well as Skarmory and Corviknight. Scale Shot allows Garchomp to attack while raising its Speed at the same time, making it more difficult to revenge kill. Scale Shot also kill, and provides perfect neutral coverage alongside Earthquake and Fire Fang. Stone Edge can be used instead to heavily damage Yveltal and Ho-Oh, both of which heavily threaten Garchomp with Foul Play and a burn from Sacred Fire, respectively. Swords Dance further increases its offensive capability, allowing it to break past sturdy defensive walls such as the aforementioned Corviknight and Landorus-T. Leftovers provides longevity as Garchomp sets up, and maximum Attack and Speed make Garchomp as threatening as possible.

Garchomp fits best on bulky offense teams as a late game win condition wincon or hyper offense ones as a breaker. A Speed donation from Zamazenta, Pheromosa, (comma) or Mewtwo helps it scare more offensive Pokemon out, allowing it to get a Swords Dance up more easily. Entry hazards facilitate Garchomp in the late game by helping it nab more KOs KOes, so Spikes from Ferrothorn or Stealth Rock from Heatran are appreciated. Magnezone can trap and eliminate Corviknight and Skarmory, making it a great partner. Special attackers that invite Heatran and Galarian Slowking Slowking-G in, especially those with a pivot move like Tapu Koko or Tornadus-T, (comma) are also great options. Dual screen support from the likes of Alola Ninetales Ninetales-A and Grimmsnarl help Garchomp find more opportunities to set up safely and remedy its Defense drop from Scale Shot. add that it is weak to priority, especially with Scale Shot, and you need checks to that. I would also add that Scale Shot is unreliable, so targets it needs Scale Shot to hit are problematic.

Garchomp can forgo Scale Shot or one of its coverage moves for Stealth Rock. Giving Garchomp Fire Blast while slotting it in the SpA Special Attack slot makes it threaten some of its checks better. A defensive set in combination with a better Defense stat and Rocky Helmet is possible, however the lack of recovery and being prone to status make it rely on Wish and hard to justify. Life Orb can be used to increase its damage output, although it makes Garchomp more prone to priority such as Rillaboom. Similarly, an Adamant nature leaves it outsped by more offensive Pokemon for a damage boost but can be an option on Scale Shot sets.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Corviknight and Skarmory**: Physically defensive variants of Corviknight and Skarmory cannot handle Garchomp if it has set up multiple times, however if they carry Iron Defense or Whirlwind in Skarmory's case, they can stop Garchomp from setting up. rephrase this to emphasize that they do check it, but without set up or phazing they cannot beat it one-on-one

**Unaware Walls**: Pyukumuku, Clefable, (comma) and Quagsire have no trouble handling everything Garchomp throws at them and simply recover any HP lost.

**Rillaboom and Tapu Bulu**: Even though they fear Fire Fang, the Grassy Terrain they provide cuts Earthquake damage in half, allowing their teammates to handle it more comfortably. Rillaboom can also revenge kill Garchomp if it has been chipped enough.

**Ice coverage**: Ice Beam from Tyranitar or Slowking-G, Ice Punch from Buzzwole and Rhyperior can surprise Garchomp and heavily damage if not outright OHKO it.

**Faster Pokemon and Priority Users**: Choice Scarf Pokemon like Tapu Lele or Pokemon that benefit from a speed boosting ability like Arctozolt can outspeed and revenge kill Garchomp, although they have to watch out if Garchomp has successfully gotten a Scale Shot. On the other hand, priority such as Ice Shard from Mamoswine and Grassy Glide from Rillaboom can even take advantage of the Defense drops from Scale Shot.

**Statuses**: Garchomp struggles to do its job properly if it has been inflicted with a status. Burn cuts its damage in half, paralysis makes it far easier to outspeed and revenge kill while bad poison puts it on a timer and limits how many Pokemon it can sweep.

beauts I discussed with you on discord but I guess I will put them down here for clarity for others. I implemented most parts, here are some changes that I adjusted differently:
_ Replaced Fini because Misty Surge harms Scale Shot with 2 other Water that I think is obvious enough to see why they take advantage of Lando-T and Ho-Oh.
_ Added physically defensive Pokemon and merged it with Skarm + Corvi since they were similar
_ I already listed Priority Users below so I cut your Priority Moves part.
_ I didn't completely remove Ice-type coverage because they are used more frequently not to target Chomper but Lando-T. Chomper gets hurt indirectly by Landorus-T seeing more and more usage. I'm fine with cutting down Rhyperior as it's not prevalent enough and Slowking-G generally prefers Scald to also hit Heatran and threatens a burn on other Pokemon.
Thank you for the thorough review.
