New Ability: Swamp Drain = (Overgrow + Storm Drain)

Notable Moves:
EdgeQuake, Power Whip, Knock Off etc.
Leaf Storm, Earth Power, Sludge Bomb, etc.
Recover, Swords Dance, Stealth Rock, Sleep Powder, Leech Seed, etc.
Intended Role: Special Wall, Hazard Setter
Role Justification: no meta yet but huuh really bulky grass!

New Types:

Base Stats: 90 / 97 / 110 / 99 / 80 / 55 [BST: 539] (+0 HP / +5 Atk / +3 Def / +12 SpA / +0 SpD / +10 Spe)
New Ability: Non-Newtonian = (Shell Armor + Water Compaction)
Ability Description: Raises Defense by 2 when hit by a water-type move, water immunity.
Notable Moves:
Wood Hammer, Earthquake, Stone Edge, Iron Head, etc.
Leaf Storm, Energy Ball/Giga Drain, Earth Power, Scorching Sands, Shadow Ball, Sludge Bomb.
Stealth Rock, Swords Dance, Rock Polish, Shore Up, Leech Seed, etc.
Intended Role: Wall, Double Dancer(?)
Role Justification: #freethedora or smn
just a nice wall, with an ability that helps it become ridiculously bulky

:swsh/empoleon::swsh/cryogonal:

DNA Donors: Empoleon / Cryogonal
Fusion Name: Empogonal
New Types:

no wachin, Knock Off nada mas, Rapid Spin si sos valiente.
Ice Beam, Flash Cannon, Scald, etc.
Recover, Haze, Defog, Iron Defense, Toxic, Stealth Rock, etc.

Role Justification: Levitating Steel Special Wall! but ice so you are never ok. at least its not weak to SR and can work really good as a Spinner.

New meta, new dumb subs

:swsh/comfey::swsh/dedenne:
Imagine this in doubles
DNA Donors: Comfey / Dedenne
Fusion Name: Comfenne
New Types:

Base Stats: 77 / 55 / 73 / 92 / 99 / 100 [BST: 496] (+18 HP / +0 Atk / +0 Def / +11 SpA / +11 SpD / +0 Spe)
New Ability: Gourmand = (Triage + Plus)
Ability Description: This Pokemon healing moves have x1.5 power.
Notable Moves:
U-Turn, Nuzzle
Parabolic Charge, Draining Kiss, Giga Drain, Volt Switch
Calm Mind, Defog
Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Special Pivot, Hazard Control
Role Justification: 97 bp STAB + 120 bp coverage that heals, which is useful as it can stay longer. It has good offense and speed to easily go for Nuzzle.

:swsh/avalugg::swsh/shuckle:
Hisui Avalugg be like
DNA Donors: Avalugg / Shuckle
Fusion Name: Shucklugg
New Types:

Base Stats: 75 / 65 / 210 / 30 / 140 / 16 [BST: 536] (+18 HP / +2 Atk / +3 Def / +3 SpA / +2 SpD / +0 Spe)
New Ability: Hard Ice = (Ice Body + Sturdy)
Ability Description: Combined effect of both the abilities.
Notable Moves:
Body Press, Knock Off, Rapid Spin
imagine using specs on this
Toxic, Recover, Stealth Rock, Sticky Web, Iron Defense
Intended Role: Hazard Setter, Mixed Wall, Hazard Control
Role Justification: It has very high defenses, good defensive movepool, recovery and bpress, which hits hard. However, it is held back by its awful typing and its weakness to Stealth Rock. This Pokemon can be useful if it is on the lead because its abil allows it to set at least 1 or 2 hazards while being able to remove the ones on its side.

:swsh/exploud::swsh/infernape:
not funi boomburst anymore, just boomburst
DNA Donors: Exploud / Infernape
Fusion Name: Loudape
New Types:

Base Stats: 90 / 97 / 67 / 97 / 72 / 88 [BST: 511] (+0 HP / +0 Atk / +0 Def / +0 SpA / +0 SpD / +0 Spe)
New Ability: Block Master = (Soundproof + Iron Fist)
Ability Description: User is immune to punch moves.
Notable Moves:
Close Combat, U-Turn
Boomburst, Focus Blast, Vacuum Wave, Shadow Ball, Ice Beam, Flamethrower
Nasty Plot, Stealth Rock
Intended Role: Specs/Scarf User, Special Setup Sweeper, Special Wallbreaker
Role Justification: It still has Boomburst and good offenses, but it now has lower speed and bulk. Its immunity to punching moves is useful since it can block SE moves like Drain/Mach Punch. It is also very good with Scarf. However, it would have a bad time against bulky ghost.

:swsh/slurpuff::swsh/aegislash:
Weird Zen Mode
DNA Donors: Slurpuff / Aegislash
Fusion Name: Aegipuff
New Types:

Base Stats: 80 / 70 / 115 / 70 / 115 / 75 [BST: 525] (+9 HP / +5 Atk / +2 Def / +3 SpA / +8 SpD / +9 Spe)
New Ability: Possessive Change = (Unburden + Stance Change)
Ability Description: Switches to Blade form if it doesn't have a held item.
Notable Moves:
Shadow Sneak, Shadow Claw, Play Rough, Close Combat

Belly Drum, King's Shield, Substitute, Swords Dance, Sticky Web, Toxic
Intended Role: Physical Setup Sweeper, Hazard Setter
Role Justification: This Pokemon relies mostly on berry gimmicks like Belly Drum and SubSalac. While it has good bulk, it has a low speed. When it enters Blade form, its defenses get low but gets high attack, meaning Shadow Sneak is very important. This Pokemon can also be used as a defensive hazard setter as it wouldn't need to change form.

wooder gourd
DNA Donors: Xerneas / Shedinja
Fusion Name: Xerdinja
New Types:

Base Stats: 75 / 110 / 70 / 80 / 70 / 69 [BST: 474] (+12 HP / +0 Atk / +0 Def / +0 SpA / +6 SpD / +0 Spe)
New Ability: Wonder Aura = (Fairy Aura + Wonder Guard)
Ability Description: While this Pokemon is active, all super effective moves do x1.33 damage.
Notable Moves:
Close Combat, Play Rough, Shadow Claw, Shadow Sneak
Focus Blast, Moonblast, Shadow Ball, Thunderbolt
Geomancy, Swords Dance (Toxic? Will-o-Wisp?)
Intended Role: Setup Sweeper
Role Justification: Finally, Shedinja but good. Ability is just better Neuroforce, allowing it to capitalize on its amazing STAB + coverage. It has high Attack + Swords Dance + Shadow Sneak, making it an extremely potent physical sweeper, and even has broken move Geomancy, which should still be good even with such low Special Attack. However, the mon is extremely frail, as it also gives the opponent its ability's effects, and also is very vulnerable to status.

:swsh/quagsire::swsh/smeargle:
this has unaware spectral thief btw
DNA Donors: Quagsire / Smeargle
Fusion Name: Smearquag
New Types:

Base Stats: 80 / 60 / 70 / 42 / 70 / 55 [BST: 377] (+5 HP / +8 Atk / +10 Def / +0 SpA / +15 SpD / +0 Spe)
New Ability: Artist's Block = (Technician + Damp)
Ability Description: Technician effects. This Pokemon is prevented from using any move not boosted by Technician.*
*These moves can still be in the moveset, but they will be prevented from being used in battle. They still consume 1 PP when selected.
Notable Moves:
Bonemarang, Double Iron Bash, Fake Out, Flip Turn, Nuzzle, Rapid Spin, Rock Blast, Storm Throw, Triple Axel (Tail Slap? Surging Strikes???)

Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker
Role Justification: Big moves, little man. You get strong, infinite coverage at the cost of low stats, mediocre offensive typing, and overreliance on its ability (Porymask does get fucked over if it Pillages the ability tho lol). Cool utility in Fake Out and Rapid Spin too.

:swsh/shuckle::swsh/blaziken:
shell smash blaziken
DNA Donors: Shuckle / Blaziken
Fusion Name: Blazishuck
New Types:

Base Stats: 50 / 70 / 150 / 60 / 150 / 65 [BST: 545] (+0 HP / +5 Atk / +0 Def / +0 SpA / +0 SpD / +23 Spe)
New Ability: Reverse Gear = (Contrary + Speed Boost)
Ability Description: Contrary but only for Speed.
Notable Moves:
Close Combat, Earthquake, Flare Blitz, Knock Off, Stone Edge, U-turn

Curse, Stealth Rock, Sticky Web, Toxic
Intended Role: Physical Wall, Setup Sweeper
Role Justification: Finally, Shuckle but good. Curse + inverted speed boosts have been a thing for a while, but this also boasts a nice defensive profile with a great physical defensive typing, Mew-level bulk, hazards, Knock, and U-turn. Offensive sets take a while to get going and defensive sets lack recovery, though.

:ss/shuckle::ss/blaziken-mega:

New Ability: Waterlogged = (Air Lock + Water Absorb)
Ability Description: Combined effect of both the abilities.
Notable Moves:
Dragon Ascent, Dragon Claw, Earthquake, Stone Edge, V-Create
Draco Meteor
Dragon Dance, Recover, Stealth Rock, Swords Dance, Toxic
Intended Role: Special Wall, Physical Wallbreaker
Role Justification: The classic defensive base, offensive Mega. Base is mini Dracolix, good typing, useful immunity, big damage. Mega cucks itself with Delta Stream making it unable to hit flyings. Keep in mind you gotta use Dragon Ascent to mega evolve, and while it's still a good coverage move, it's not the best for this mon's typing.
:ss/rayquaza-mega::ss/wooper:
New Types:

Base Stats: 90 / 127 / 80 / 117 / 84 / 75 [BST: 573]

New Ability: = (Sheer Force + Sheer Force)
Ability Description: Combined effect of both the abilities.
Notable Moves:
Brave Bird, Gunk Shot, Knock Off, U-Turn, Seed Bomb, Close Combat, Rock Slide

Swords Dance, Roost
Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Set-Up Breaker (Swords Dance)
Role Justification: Rufcannon is a nuclear wallbreaker thanks to its good Attack stat combined with a very solid offensive typing in Flying. It also has access to a wide array of coverage options (WIP)

Knock Off, Power Whip, Poison Jab, Sucker Punch
Giga Drain, Leaf Storm, Sludge Bomb, Weather Ball

Intended Role: Mixed Wallbreaker, Sun Sweeper, Set-Up Breaker (Swords Dance)
Role Justification: Carnibel is a strong mixed attacker with an awesome movepool, including solid utility options. (WIP)

New Ability: USFO (Unidentified Scary Flying Object) = (Intimidate + Levitate)
Ability Description: Combined effect of both the abilities.
Notable Moves:
Gunk Shot, Poison Jab, Earthquake, Aqua Tail, Dragon Tail, Explosion
Sludge Bomb, Flamethrower, Clear Smog
Coil, Glare, Will-O-Wisp, Toxic Spikes, Taunt, Pain Split, Haze, Memento
Intended Role: Defensive Support, Stallbreaker, Set-Up Breaker (Coil)
Role Justification: Weezbok seems like it might be like Weezing, but with actual physical Poison STAB and mixed bulk. Oh, and it can run Coil sets now.

:swsh/wobbuffet: :swsh/malamar:
DNA Donors: Wobbuffet / Malamar
Fusion Name: Malamet
New Types:

Base Stats: 138 / 72 / 73 / 50 / 76 / 63 [BST: 472] (+0 HP / +10 Atk / +0 Def / +0 SpA / +10 SpD / +10 Spe)
New Ability: Spirit Trap n' Swap = (Contrary + Shadow Tag)
Ability Description: Reverses the effects of stat changes on the user and target; Traps Ghost-types and prevents switching moves and Shed Shell from working. (Damage is still applied)
Notable Moves:
Superpower, Zen Headbutt, Knock Off, Counter, Mirror Coat, Liquidation, Rock Slide, Lash Out?

Safeguard, Encore, Switcheroo, Destiny Bond, Swagger
Intended Role: Trapper (Ghost-types)
Role Justification: Must be one of the few times that a Shadow Tag-like ability is actually balanced. Nevertheless, this should be a decent check to Ghost-types and also those who were expecting to avoid being trapped. On top of that, it has enough HP to use at least 1 Counter or Mirror Coat to KO a unsuspecting opponent, or it can just spam Superpower to get boosts and Swagger to troll physical attackers. Mediocre speed, a poor movepool, and also a bad defensive typing are things to watch out for, though.

Bulky Water Boss Fight
DNA Donors: Luxray / Wishiwashi-School
Fusion Name: Wishiray-School
New Types:

Base Stats: 62 / 130 / 104 / 117 / 107 / 50 [BST: 570] (+0 HP / +0 Atk / +0 Def / +0 SpA / +0 SpD / +0 Spe)
New Ability: Fearmongering = (Intimidate + Schooling)
Ability Description: Enters School Form if it has > 1/4 max HP, else Solo Form and lowers adjacent opponents Attack by 1 stage and on switch-in.
Notable Moves:
Wild Charge, Liquidation, Flip Turn, U-Turn Earthquake, Crunch
Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Scald, Ice Beam
Rest, Sleep Talk, Toxic
Intended Role: Mixed Wallbreaker, Offensive Pivot
Role Justification: Bulky water with pivoting capabilities (potentially in both forms). It's great to start off a meta as a defensive pick that can utilize its monstrous stats to your advantage. It suffers from a shallow movepool which doesn't lead to having many sets to make and turning into a weakling at low HP. For Schooling, you can use it to deal big damage to opponents, threaten opponents to switch, and switch yourself out with pivoting moves. For Solo Form, you might be able to get more Intimidates off depending on how many fast mons we get in NU. Also will have a sick sprite for School Form.
:swsh/luxray::swsh/wishiwashi:
DNA Donors: Luxray / Wishiwashi

New Ability: Fearmongering = (Intimidate + Schooling)
Ability Description: School Form if it has > 1/4 max HP, else Solo Form and lowers adjacent opponents Attack by 1 and on switch-in.
Notable Moves:
Flip Turn, U-Turn
Volt Switch
Rest
Intended Role: Annoying little shit
Role Justification: Phase 2. Bait-and-Switch but you have so little defenses you can't really bait.

New Ability: Frozen Fist = (Ice Body + Iron Fist)
Ability Description: This Pokemon's punch-based attacks have 1.2x power and heal the user by 1/16th of their max HP.
Notable Moves:
Ice Punch, Drain Punch, Close Combat, Mach Punch, Thunder Punch, Knock Off, Explosion
Bulk Up, Taunt, Thunder Wave, Rock Polish, Block
Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Stallbreaker, Special Wall
Role Justification: AV Crabominable taken to the extreme. Amazing special bulk and passive recovery should make it a very solid AV trade-generator while its subpar attack (for that speed and defensive typing) should keep it from being overbearing. Nice way to ensure future Ice Beam spammers aren't overbearing.

Notable Moves:
Flip Turn, U-Turn
Muddy Water, Meteor Beam, Earth Power, Focus Blast, Icy Wind, Shadow Ball, Flash Cannon, Terrain Pulse
Stealth Rock, Rock Polish
Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Hazards, Offensive Pivot, Setup Sweeper
Role Justification: Finally a vaguely interesting Regirock fusion. This Pokemon has such a wide range of boosted moves it almost has Protean, allowing it to customize its moveset a fair amount. I feel like Specs sets will be the norm but something like RP+MB could be a real menace on hyper offense. Held back by its mediocre defensive typing+low speed and a pretty poor matchup into opposing waters.

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

There's been lots of clamor for an ana-style sub review compass, or any review at all, and I really don't want this to end up like FERU so I thought I'd take a stab at it. However, I unfortunately have a life, so there's no way I'm writing a paragraph on every mon. Instead, I'd like to call out some specific subs I think are notable, either because I like them (The Good), I think they're unhealthy (The Bad), or they're the gimmick mons that half our voters eat up despite 90% of them being shitmons (The Ugly). Here's hoping I don't mess up any of these takes, and all of these are my personal opinions, so of course take them with a grain of salt. Also I have to say this, just because I do not like your sub does not mean I do not like you as a person. Any criticism here is purely for the betterment of this mod and I do not at all mean to offend.

Since this is the first slate I'll try to be pretty lenient from a balance standpoint, but essentially if the mon would be great in FERU it's too much for FENU. Also please note: I am not a council member. My opinions on balance can and will differ from theirs, and just because I personally do not like a mon does not mean it will be vetoed. Honestly some of these (particularly The Ugly) aren’t even particularly great, I just find their gimmicks or skillsets unhealthy and wouldn’t want to see them in the meta. Now, with all that said, let's begin.

The Good
:appletun::wormadam-sandy: Look, you all know I love this mon. I've been clamoring for it to be brought back since before FENU was even existent, so it's obvious I'd put it here. Appledam is a reliable fatmon with an amazing ability in Imposing Adipose, balanced by multiple 4x weaknesses to ensure it can still be broken. What I really like about this is the defensive utility it brings to the table, with some massive resistances to Fighting, Water, Electric, and a 4x resistance to Ground. Beyond this, it's able to set rocks, and despite its admittedly terrible offensive profile, it has multiple tools to work around it in Body Press and Apple Acid. Quiver Dance on this is mildly worrying at first, but once you consider its abysmal base speed and horrible coverage, I think it's pretty easy to say this is a balanced mon in spite of QD.

:persian::cherrim: I guess when they hit they just keep hitting. Perrim’s ability is very very cool, as even special NP sets (arguably the best set) benefit from Sunshine Form, and they don’t necessarily have to even use some weird move to get it, as very much of its best coverage is Technician-boosted. I worry a little about how well it may hold up down the line, but I think right now it’s a potent threat, and it has room to grow so I doubt it’ll fall too far.

:sylveon::heracross: Disgustingly good SD breaker, with Pixilate Double Edge to absolutely nuke everything off the face of the earth and Close Combat for any pesky Steels that dare try to wall you, and if the opponent tries to sack, you even have Moxie for that! Of course, it's balanced due to its pretty shoddy typing and poor speed, but I think this thing is very very solid and would be a great mon in the meta.

:turtonator::corsola: Feels wrong to put more than one sub by one person in the Good category, but I can't help myself. This thing seems super super versatile, with a typing that's proven to be great in the right circumstances through Volcanion, a god-tier ability in Regenerator, reliable recovery, good coverage, Will-O-Wisp to patch up its awful physical bulk, and even Shell Smash if you want to run offensive sets (though of course it is very very slow and not very strong, similarly to Appledam). Don't get me wrong, Smash sets are great, but its poor matchup against offensive teams and inability to break bulky Waters means defensive sets will also have a chance to shine.

:gurdurr::golbat: The HO mon we deserve. Gurdbat makes no attempt to hide that it was made for screens, and instead of having stupid power with something like SD or QD, it has stupid bulk, which is funny and hopefully not broken. I like this because if it gets in we will never have to add a screens abuser again and can immediately shut down anyone who tries.

:regice::conkeldurr: The kind of mon you can just throw in your 6th slot and feel good about. Seems super solid, though it'll probably outclass base Glasnow if that ever drops. Huge bulk slow Fighting types with priority are cool, and huge bulk slow strong Fighting types with a method of recovery that isn't Leftovers are even cooler. I can't see a world where this isn't both good and healthy (unless the meta gets powercrept to FERU levels), so I would be very fine with this getting in.

The Bad
:wigglytuff::skarmory: Mon seems very optimized for NU. S-tier defensive typing, great bulk, reliable recovery, utility out the wazoo. Can't really see this being balanced in a sub-RU meta.

:melmetal::ledian: Same deal as Wigglarm, hyper-optimized for NU. Good bulk, S-tier typing, reliable recovery, and this one even has SD+DIB, which is pretty insane. Not as bad as Wigglarm, but I think if this won the meta would revolve around it, and that isn't something I want to see.

:zoroark::passimian: Noticing a trend here of mons being made with an RU mindset. Again, this mon just seems like way too much for FENU. Not only is it an S-tier scarfer/breaker for this power level, it also has an ability that’s insanely busted once any mon with a good ability gets in (and in turn is super restrictive on submissions). I don’t see a world where this is a healthy force in the FENU meta.

:lilligant::meganium: Look, I see the vision. And maybe I'm wrong to call this one out, maybe it's fine. But when I see that statline with QD+Sleep Powder, there is no part of me that thinks "this will be balanced in NU" and more importantly, "this is a mon we should start our meta with". I wasn't sure if I wanted to put this one on here, but overall I just don't think it's a healthy choice for this early in the meta.

:kirlia::dragapult: Ridiculous anti-offense tool. I don't think there's any way to balance this ability, as with this statline it just beats out basically any setup sweeper, particularly if you run scarf. Plus, it's still a great pivot outside of that (literally pult mini), so there's no hope for it.

:crobat::toxapex: Fast Pex? In my NU meta? I don't think so. No longer has Regen, so I think it'll probably just be a high-ranking defensive mon now.
Mon never had regen. I will seek help

The Ugly
:wobbuffet::medicham: This is literally just better Wobbuffet. Mon is still broken with Shadow Tag, and now it even has setup for ultimate brokenness. nvm it doesn't have shadow tag i am blind

:dragalge::corsola-galar: This ability is extremely degenerate. Consider this situation: you're faster than the opponent and they want to use a move they used last turn. Now you have a chance to completely invalidate what they want to do. Alternatively, this mon is pretty fat with WoW+Strength Sap+special bulk, so maybe the opponent only has one move to break you, you hit them, and now they have none. There's no world where I would want to see this mon be playable in a competitive meta.

:thwackey::aurorus: A gimmick among gimmicks. Ice Grassy Glide is not an interesting concept and when it's done at the expense of a mon's regular movepool, it's made even worse. Poor offenses and a complete lack of Grass STABs means this thing is a shitmon.

:wobbuffet::cosmog: This is literally just worse Wobbuffet. Mon is still broken with Shadow Tag; if Wynaut got banned from base OU there's no shot worse Wobb lasts in NU.

:wimpod::tapu-koko: Looks like a shitmon. Not much else to say. Just seemed like the kind of gimmick people would jump at, and if added it would most likely be completely unusable as its stats are bad, its utility movepool isn’t great, and this all compounds when you realize it’s a physical Electric/Bug.

:calyrex-shadow::ditto: While this is sick in concept, it is textbook gimmick mon. Its gimmick actively hurts it, as NP sets can't sweep at all, and once it transforms it loses Astral Barrage, which is the only thing making it good. 94 HP is kinda insane but I just don't think this is it. That being said, this definitely has the most hope out of anything in this category, so if you really need your gimmick fix, I wouldn’t die if this got in (or just vote for Perrim lol).

:togekiss::bibarel: Another texbook gimmick mon, but not the cool kind this time. Simple SD + STAB ESpeed (not to mention Super Luck) is just insane, especially for NU, and that’s not even mentioning the fact that it can run NP to mess with physical walls. Nothing healthy here, but exactly the kind of thing people have a history of voting for, so I kindly request you don’t make that mistake.

:linoone::aegislash: Yucky yucky Belly Drum mon. BellySpeed is a very potent combo. In fact, it's potent enough that Linoone is NUBL in regular mons. This is that but better. Mon would be obnoxious to face in RU, let alone NU.

:xerneas::shedinja: The 'won because of the sprite' mon for this slate. Similar to Tapu Wimi in that I wouldn't have mentioned it except for the fact that people will probably vote for it, and it is not good. 110/70 offenses on a physical Bug/Fairy is pretty terrible, but workable in NU thanks to SD. Geomancy is also a broken move, so while its stats and offensive typing suck, that is also an option. HOWEVER, this thing's bulk is actually horrendous. Neuroforce has shown itself to be a pretty bad ability in recent days (especially on a mon with mediocre STABs and average at best coverage options), but this is not true of the inverse. This mon already has terrible bulk, and then it sets itself up to take even more damage if the opponent can hit it super-effectively. Not only that, it's even SUPER VULNERABLE to status! Geomancy is still pretty busted so like, maybe this sees use on HO? But cringe 33% from rocks so I still stand by my placement. Mon has spammable STABs now y'all can vote it for the sprite.

:smeargle::quagsire: Bonemerang/TAxel/filler/filler. Mon is either stupidly bad or stupidly good, neither of which are positive, not to mention it's the biggest Pillage punish under the sun if you run viable 4th moves Spore or Shell Smash.

:wobbuffet::malamar: The final Wobb. Almost put this in 'The Good' for humor value until I noticed it learned Acupressure, but I still had to mention it because after reading through the effects of this thing's ability it's actually hilarious. Generally trapping isn't the best idea, especially for a mon with a STAB that is super-effective against the targets you're trapping, but since the type being trapped is Ghost it's essentially just a beefed-up Pursuit trap in a Pursuitless meta, which is pretty funny. Additionally, trapping + setup is a huge no-no since it allows for degenerate strategies, and you may notice that this gets Contrary+Superpower, but the type it traps is Ghost, meaning Superpower literally cannot be used to set up against trapped targets. It also gets Calm Mind and Nasty Plot, but this thing's Special Attack, Speed, STABs, and bulk are all awful, meaning even at +6 it's easy to stop with almost any dedicated special wall, fast offensive mon, or Dark type. The pivoting-blocking part of its ability is pretty stupid if I'm being honest, but a Dark/Psychic with U-Turn immunity is pretty silly. Also Contrary on the opponent means opposing Ghost sweepers can't setup on you, making you able to do your job better, which is amusing. Unfortunately Acupressure breaks the mon, but this thing is the single most ridiculous, layered gimmick I've seen in a very long time, and if these interactions were all planned out huge props to the submitter. NEVER MIND I SOMEHOW FORGOT ABOUT CONTRARY HALFWAY THROUGH WRITING THIS. I LOVE THIS MON PLEASE VOTE FOR IT IT'S SO STUPID I LOVE IT

Wouldn’t really feel right to put any of my own subs on here, but I’ll just put a disclaimer here to please check them out if you get a chance. I think my best this slate are Gak and Shielterra. Only realized now that by praising everyone else's subs I'm killing my own. Also I will try to update this if more mons are added by people, I just wanted to give people more than enough time to edit things as they saw fit before vetos. Outdated text will be italicized.

This isn't gonna be that good, but...unused type combos time!

:swsh/magearna::swsh/litwick:
The Dark Days have begun.
DNA Donors: Magearna / Litwick
Fusion Name: Magearwick
New Types:

Base Stats: 65 / 62 / 85 / 127 / 95 / 42 [BST: 466] (+0 HP / +0 Atk / +0 Def / +20 SpA / +10 SpD / +0 Spe)
New Ability: Psych Out = (Soul-Heart + Infiltrator)
Ability Description: Combined effect of both the abilities.
Notable Moves:
Gyro Ball
Fleur Cannon, Flamethrower, Dazzling Gleam, Draining Kiss, Flash Cannon, Steel Beam, Shadow Ball
none!
Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker
Role Justification: While Magearwick may seem somewhat underpowered on the surface, it has a lot of potential IMO (biased as the creater) as a Specs user due to its decent FENU bulk or even a Scarf user for surprises (but probably not). It has the coverage to nail some of our first fusions, too, and it stops Beedrill fusions in their tracks! However, there are definitely some flaws, due to its atrocious Speed tier, being too slow (not even hitting the 45 benchmark) and too fast under Trick Room, while Specs sets are hindered by its 4 weaknesses. Finally, it is pretty easy to predict its set, as Specs is really the only viable option (maybe Life Orb?)

Magearwick @ Choice Specs
Ability: Psych Out
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
Fleur Cannon /
Dazzling Gleam
Flash Cannon
Flamethrower
Shadow Ball

New Ability: Sonic Shrieker = (Intimidate + Soundproof)
Ability Description: Combined effect of both the abilities.
Notable Moves:
Wild Charge, Close Combat, Outrage, Psychic Fangs, Play Rough, Crunch
Thunderbolt, Dragon Pulse
Toxic, Thunder Wave, Dragon Dance
Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker/Sweeper
Role Justification: Luxamo-o is slow and somewhat frail. Additionally, it has to rely of Wild Charge of all moves for STAB. However, it has an insane amount of coverage options, and Sonic Shrieker helps force switches, which Luxamo-o can take advantage of by using Dragon Dance to remedy its poor Speed and boost its Attack. Life Orb should be preferred to switch attacks; however, Choice Band brings good breaking power to the table.

Luxamo-o @ Life Orb
Ability: Sonic Shrieker

New Ability: Magical Rock = (Solid Rock + Frisk)
Ability Description: Combined effect of both the abilities.
Notable Moves:
Shadow Claw, Rock Blast, Rock Tomb, Rock Slide, Shadow Sneak, Superpower, Earthquake, Stone Edge, Zen Headbutt, Crunch
Meteor Beam, Ice Beam, Shadow Ball
Shell Smash, Stealth Rock
Intended Role: Mixed Sweeper
Role Justification: Banacosta is a fearsome threat with its Rock/Ghost typing and Shell Smash, alongside its useful ability and wide Physical movepool. However, its overreliance on the weak Shadow Sneak for priority damage and its not-very-good Speed make it very easy to revenge kill.

Banacosta @ White Herb / Colbur Berry
Ability: Magical Rock

New Ability: Prankster
Ability Description: Gives priority to status moves.
Notable Moves:

New Ability: Symbiotic Scales = (Symbiosis + Ice Scales)
Ability Description: Combined effect of both the abilities.
Notable Moves:
none (what would you do with a 55 Attack stat?)
Moonblast, Psychic, Grass Knot, Energy Ball, Ice Beam, Air Slash, Bug Buzz, Giga Drain
Aromatherapy, Synthesis, Wish
Intended Role: Specially Defensive Wall
Role Justification: Frosette's Special Defense goes through the roof with Ice Scales. Additionally, it has the potential to dish out some good damage with Moonblast, Ice Beam and coverage. However, Fairy/Ice isn't a good defensive typing, being 4x weak to stuff like Iron Head (which OHKOs) and Flash Cannon, while also being weak to Poison, Fire and Rock, 3 decent typings. Finally, if Frosette loses its Heavy-Duty Boots, it is very vulnerable to entry hazards.

New Ability: Heliophobia = (Wimp Out + Drought)
Ability Description: Effects of both abilities + After taking damage in harsh sunlight, this Pokémon switches out.
Notable Moves:
Leech Life, Earthquake, Fire Punch, Heat Crash, Dragon Claw, Facade, Waterfall
Eruption
Stealth Rock, Spikes
Intended Role: Hazard Setter / Weather Setter
Role Justification: My main thought when building this was: what if...we had...an entry hazard setter that could automatically switch out after it was done? And voila: Wimpoudon was born. It can set up a layer of Spikes or Stealth Rock with its good Speed, while Heliophobia lets it bring in another sun abuser. Additionally, Wimpoudon-Primal is very useful. However, its Special Defense and HP make it insanely vulnerable to special attackers, and Bug/Ground isn't a very good defensive typing.

Wimpoudon @ Choice Scarf / Red Orb
Ability: Heliophobia
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
Stealth Rock
Spikes
Leech Life

:swsh/wimpod::swsh/groudon-primal:

New Ability: Half-Baked = (Wimp Out + Desolate Land)
Ability Description: Combined effect of both the abilities.
Notable Moves:
Heat Crash, Heavy Slam, Earthquake, Leech Life, Precipice Blades, Return, Stone Edge, Fire Punch
Lava Plume, Eruption
Stealth Rock, Spikes, Rest, Sleep Talk
Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker / Hazard Setter
Role Justification: My main thought when building this was: what if...we had...an entry hazard setter that could automatically switch out after it was done? And voila: Wimpoudon-Primal was born. It can set up a layer of Spikes or Stealth Rock with its good Speed, while it also has a diverse physical movepool to choose from. Additionally, its STAB moves hit hard under Desolate Land. However, its Special Defense and HP make it insanely vulnerable to special attackers, and Bug/Fire isn't a very good defensive typing.

:swsh/bronzong::swsh/avalugg:
this has got to be one of the OTR mons ever
DNA Donors: Bronzong / Avalugg
Fusion Name: Bronzugg
New Types:

Base Stats: 81 / 103 / 150 / 61 / 81 / 30 [BST: 506] (+0 HP / +0 Atk / +0 Def / +0 SpA / +0 SpD / +0 Spe)
New Ability: Built Different = (Heatproof + Sturdy)
Ability Description: Combined effect of both the abilities.
Notable Moves:
Icicle Spear, Earthquake, Gyro Ball, Zen Headbutt, Body Press, Rapid Spin (?)
No
Trick Room, Stealth Rock, Recover, Toxic
Intended Role: OTR, bulky physical wallbreaker
Role Justification: BEHOLD: Worse Caly-Ice. Despite its godawful typing, its insanely bloated bulk and good Attack allow it to still function as a powerful wallbreaker... that unfortunately has to rely on Icicle Spear and Zen Headbutt of all things for STAB.

:ss/Lapras: :ss/Steelix:
Awash with Power
Fusion: Laprix
Type: Ice/Ground
Stat Distribution: 102/85/140/75/80/45 [527 BST] (+0 HP/0 Atk/0 Def/5 SpA/0 SpD/0 Spe) [537 BST]
Ability: Power Wash (Hydration + Sheer Force)
Power Wash: This Pokemon's attacking moves with secondary effects cure it of status. While inflicted with non-volatile status, user's attacks with secondary effects have 1.3x power but have their effects nullified.
Relevant Moves:
Special: Earth Power, Freeze-Dry, Ice Beam, Meteor Beam, Thunderbolt
Status: Rest, Sleep Talk, Stealth Rock
Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Status Absorber, Hazard Setter (Rocks)
Role Justification: Laprix has an interesting role as a special attacker due to its ability to negate status thanks to its ability, allowing it to punish opposing status spreaders or activate itself with either Flame Orb or Rest, which it can actually make solid use thanks to its overall solid bulk. STABs offer it terrific coverage, alongside options like Thunderbolt and Meteor Beam to potentially boost SpA while not statused. A deceptively strong and flexible attacker even if not the fastest.
:ss/Lapras::sm/Steelix-Mega:
Fusion: Mega Laprix
Type
: Ice/Ground
Stats: 102/125/170/75/110/45 [627 BST]
Ability: Sand Force
Relevant Moves:
Physical: Avalanche, Earthquake, Ice Shard, Rock Slide, Stone Edge
Status: Curse, Rest, Roar, Sleep Talk, Stealth Rock
Intended Role: Physical Tank, Physical Sweeper, Hazard Setter (Rocks)
Role Justification: Mega Laprix plays a very different role from its base form, turning its attention to the physical side to hit hard with STAB Earthquake and take advantage of priority Ice Shard. Its added bulk and physical focus allows Mega Laprix to boost itself with Curse to become a tanky late-game sweeper, or bulk it up enough to set Rocks easier.

:ss/Fraxure: :ss/Doublade:
Surprisingly strong NFE
Fusion: Fraxblade
Type: Dragon/Steel
Stat Distribution: 62/113/110/42/55/51 [433 BST] (+0 HP/0 Atk/0 Def/0 SpA/6 SpD/0 Spe)
Ability: Reguardless (Mold Breaker + No Guard)
Effects of both abilities.
Relevant Moves:
Physical: Close Combat, Dragon Claw, Iron Head, Iron Tail, Outrage, Scale Shot
Status: Dragon Dance, Swords Dance, Toxic
Intended Role: Physical Sweeper
Role Justification: Fraxblade makes for a deceptively bulky sweeper thanks to Eviolite, allowing it to accrue boosts to its respectable Attack. Reguardless allows it to make reliable use of its stronger STAB Iron Tail while preventing accuracy woes on potential Scale Shot; Close Combat, meanwhile, provides Fraxblade the only coverage in needs by bypassing opposing Steel types. Depending on what Dragon STAB you want, Fraxblade can run either a Dragon Dance or Swords Dance set, the latter of which can be used in conjunction with Scale Shot or let Fraxblade serve as a bulky sweeper. That said, you still need to watch out for defense drops from Shot and Combat, as well as inherently lackluster special bulk.

:ss/Wailord: :ss/Rotom-Mow:
BEEG mower
Fusion: Wailtom-Mow
Type: Water/Grass
Stat Distribution: 110/77/80/97/80/73 [517 BST] (+0 HP/0 Atk/4 Def/0 SpA/4 SpD/0 Spe)
Ability: Head in the Clouds (Oblivious + Levitate)
Effects of both abilities.
Relevant Moves:
Special: Discharge, Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Leaf Storm, Scald, Surf, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Water Spout
Status: Defog, Nasty Plot, Pain Split, Rest, Sleep Talk, Trick
Intended Role: Choice Attacker, Special Sweeper, Mixed Tank, Hazard Removal (Defog)
Role Justification: Wailtom leverages its solid bulk to fill a variety of roles, from bulky utility mon to Choice attacker with Specs or Scarf to late-game cleaner with Nasty Plot. While only having one option for Grass STAB, Wailtom packs a variety of Water STAB alongside solid BoltBeam coverage, even being able to pivot thanks to Volt Switch which most Ground types can't safely block. Head in the Clouds helps it leverage its utility options since it doesn't have to worry about hazard chip bar Rocks and is immune to Taunt. Just make sure to watch its HP, since it can be hard to fit a recovery option.

:sm/Banette: :ss/Bewear:
Toy turned deadly sweeper
Fusion: Banwear
Type: Ghost/Normal
Stat Distribution: 92/120/72/69/62/65 [480 BST] (+0 HP/0 Atk/0 Def/0 SpA/1 SpD/3 Spe)
Ability: Cursed Fur (Cursed Body + Fluffy)
Effects of both abilities.
Relevant Moves:
Physical: Body Slam, Close Combat, Double-Edge, Drain Punch, Facade, Gunk Shot, Knock Off, Shadow Claw, Shadow Sneak
Status: Bulk Up, Pain Split, Swords Dance, Taunt, Trick, Will-o-Wisp
Intended Role: Physical Tank, Physical Sweeper
Role Justification: Banwear's Cursed Fur allows it to stay sturdy versus many strong attacks, complemented by three immunities and a chance to disable those attacks. With a respectable movepool and boosting in Swords Dance or Bulk Up, Banwear can prioritize either power or bulk on a sweeper set; recovery in Drain Punch and Pain Split in conjunction with solid status moves means it can even perform in a defensive capacity.
:sm/Banette-Mega: :ss/Bewear:
Fusion: Banwear-Mega
Type: Ghost/Normal
Stat Distribution: 92/170/82/79/82/75 [580 BST]
Ability: Prankster
Relevant Moves:
Physical: Body Slam, Close Combat, Double-Edge, Drain Punch, Gunk Shot, Shadow Claw, Shadow Sneak
Status: Bulk Up, Destiny Bond, Pain Split, Substitute, Swords Dance, Taunt, Will-o-Wisp
Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker
Role Justification: Mega Banwear substitutes its normally bulky role to become a pure powerhouse, with STAB priority, a strong STAB in Double-Edge and scary coverage in Close Combat and Gunk Shot, which may or may not be backed by Swords Dance. Prankster grants Banwear a new way to utilize its utility movepool, shutting down its prey with Taunt and Wisp and packing that infamous Prankster Destiny Bond; Fighting coverage means that Dark types can't reliably answer its Prankster shenanigans either.

:ss/Skuntank: :ss/Umbreon:
A necessary evil
Fusion: Skunbreon
Type: Poison/Dark
Stat Distribution: 100/85/88/65/98/74 [510 BST] (+1 HP/6 Atk/0 Def/0 SpA/3 SpD/0 Spe)
Ability: Volatile Reaction (Aftermath + Synchronize)
If user is inflicted with non-volatile status, the Pokemon that inflicted it will lose 25% max HP.
Relevant Moves:
Physical: Foul Play, Poison Jab, Sucker Punch
Special: Sludge Bomb
Status: Defog, Haze, Heal Bell, Memento, Moonlight, Protect, Roar, Taunt, Toxic, Wish
Intended Role: Mixed Wall, Cleric, Hazard Removal (Defog)
Role Justification: Skunbreon fills the demand for dedicated defensive mons through its mixture of solid bulk, longevity and utility alongside a valuable poison immunity. Skunbreon can clear hazards with Defog, keep its team healthy with a meaty Wish and/or Heal Bell, recover instantly with Moonlight, curb dangerous sweepers with Foul Play, Haze, Roar or priority Sucker Punch or facilitate its own sweeping teammates with Memento. It can even potentially use Poison Jab or Sludge Bomb to do some damage to Fairies. Burns can be annoying for nerfing Foul Play damage, however Volatile Reaction allows Skunbreon to leave a mark on any that inflict it (as well as punishing paralysis and sleep).

Notable Moves:
Earthquake, Iron Head, Stone Edge

Curse, Leech Seed, Stealth Rock, Synthesis, Taunt, Toxic
Intended Role: Physical Wall, Physical Wallbreaker, Hazard Setter
Role Justification: Solid defensive Ground, solid defensive Steel. Good utility, good ability, Curse to prevent passivity, it really just has all the tools it needs to be successful.
The first of many Steels with recovery on the veto list, his thing's typing and stats alongside Synthesis are very strong in a low tier. The ability is also pretty bullshit, even if it is effectively a worse Focus Band. I'd slightly nerf the stats and make the ability combined effects, personally.

Ability Description: Effects of both.
Notable Moves:
U-turn, Knock off, Play rough, Iron head
Flash cannon, Dazzling gleam, Flamethrower,
Teleport, Stealth rock, Spikes, Defog, Roost, Toxic, Heal bell, Wish
Intended Role: Hazard setter(Spikes, Stealth rock),Hazard control(defog), Defensive pivot, Wish passer/Cleric
Role Justification: A Gluemon with great defensive typing and a plethora of utility moves at its disposal. It is able to remove items with knock off; pivot with U-turn/teleport, Set various hazards in spikes or stealth rock, has reliable recovery in roost; and can even remove hazards in the form of defog. It also has decent physical bulk and more average special bulk which allow it to be a consistent defensive pivot.
102/92/80 bulk with Skarm's utility, Roost, Teleport, and the best defensive typing in the game; This one would probably be good in UU. A typing change is definitely in order, and I'd drop the SpDef boost as well if you decide to go Normal/Steel.

Base Stats: 95 / 96 / 96 / 67 / 87 / 59 [BST: 500] (+0 HP / +7 Atk / +0 Def / +0 SpA / +0 SpD / +0 Spe)
New Ability: Fist Flurry = (Iron Fist + Swarm)
Ability Description: Effects of both
Notable Moves:
Double iron bash, U-turn, Earthquake, Knock off, Thunder punch, Superpower

Roost, Swords dance, Defog, Toxic
Intended Role: Physical wallbreaker, Mixed wall, Hazard remover (Defog), Offensive pivot, Set-up (Swords dance+agility)
Role Justification: This Fusion can be pretty versatile with its roles. Because of its slight above average bulk and good defensive typing it is able to check multiple Pokémon as a mixed wall. It can also remove hazards with defog. Offensively, It can pressures teams with Double iron bash coupled with STAB u-turns. It can also opt to hit incoming fire types and steel types with earthquake or super power. It also has access to swords dance and agility but these sets are more gimmicky than the others mentioned above. Its slow speed tier means a lot of the time it will be taking damage before dishing out damage.
Another fat Steel with Roost and good bulk. Iron Fist DIB prevents this from being too passive, and combined with its speed tier, lets it flinch down other fatmons with ease. Maybe devolve to Ledyba and work from there.

Notable Moves:
Knock off, Close combat, Sucker punch, Gunk shot, U-turn,
-
Taunt, Swords dance, Trick
Intended Role: Physical wallbreaker, Setup sweeper(swords dance)
Role Justification: Fast Physical wallbreaker that can take advantage of its teammates abilities.
While not broken right now, abilities like this constrain all future subs because it's so easy to break a mon like this with a strong ability. Illusion could be cool tho.

Intended Role: Physical Wall
Role Justification: theres no meta rn but its got bulk, so it can tank alot of hits with its 135 Defense stat. though, its not very good at taking special hits. its also really good at hazard seeting, +has regenerator for longevity and reliable recovery

New Ability: Shadow Ping = (Shadow Tag + Unaware)
Ability Description: Effect of both abilities
Notable Moves:
Counter
Mirror Coat
Encore, Destiny Bond, Teleport
Intended Role: Trapper, Bulky Pivot
Role Justification: While trapping sounds dumb on paper, it isn't on this, a very small movepool that lacks setup or direct offensive presence, combined with a lack of reliable recovery means that this can't abuse trapping to 6-0 teams or whatever. That being said, it still is a solid tool for offensive teams as it allows them to gain momentum by locking a select mon this can reasonably switch on (usually a wall) into a move with Encore, and isn't too risky against setup sweepers as ignoring stat boosts means that if it's healthy enought you can likely stomach the hit and OHKO back.

Notable Moves:

Intended Role: Choice Band, Set-up Sweeper (Ability), Supportive Tank (Stealth Rock, Defog)

Ability Description: This Pokemon's punch-based attacks have 1.2x power and raise this Pokemon's Speed by 2 but lower its Defense by 1.
Ground/Flying with Roost and strong stats on all fronts but speed make this thing a bulky menace. Additionally, the ability lets you use Power-Up Punch as pseudo-Shift Gear, letting it pop off offensively as well. Combined effects could be a good nerf on both fronts.

New Ability: Wonder Type = (Multitype + Wonder Guard)
Ability Description: If this Pokemon is an Sheceus, it gains an immunity matching its held Plate.

Notable Moves:
Extreme Speed, Earthquake, Stone Edge, Leech Life, Poltergeist
Judgement
Defog, Recover, Swords Dance, Stealth Rock, Will-O-Wisp

Intended Role: Set-up Sweeper (Swords Dance), Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock)
Role Justification: Meh typing and bulk limits its capabilities, but it does have some nice resistances in Grass, Ground and Ghost. Paired with Plate, it can gain an immunity to a different type, thus allowing it check one or two offensive threats. A Plate alongside Judgement, basically gives it a stronger HP, so there's some use there and it still posses STAB Espeed with SD and solid coverage.
Being able to choose any immunity you want with no way for the opponent to identify it until they either hit it or reveal your item just doesn't sound like a healthy mechanic.

Ability Description: Highest stat is boosted when a berry is consumed.
Notable Moves:
no
Thunder / Thunderbolt / Volt Switch / Energy Ball / Dazzling Gleam / Signal Beam
Calm Mind / Recycle
Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker that holds a berry
Role Justification: It has high special attack and speed, but terrible defenses. However, it can work well as a wallbreaker that uses pinch berries to boost its spATK.
This one's just a bit too strong as a statmon, nerf stats and you're good.

feru resub!

Type:

Stat Distribution: 100/105/80/80/80/50 (+5 HP, +20 Atk, +3 SpA, +8 SpD) BST: 495
Ability: Static Grace (Static + Serene Grace): Effects of both
Relevant Moves:
- Bolt Beak, Body Slam, Icicle Crash, Earthquake, Poison Jab, Stone Edge
-
- Coil, Roost, Stealth Rock, Thunder Wave
Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Speed Control, Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock), Set Up (Coil), Trick Room Abuser
Role Justification: Dunzolt has one main goal: Paralyze the opponent, either with Static or Serene Grace Body Slam (or Thunder Wave if you really want to waste a movepool slot), and then click Bolt Beak. It can also set up with Coil, to amp up its damage output and defense, or it can be used to set up hazards. Its main weakness will be 4MSS, as it will want to fill its movepool with dual STABs, setup, recovery, hazards, or Ice coverage.
This thing isn't necessarily broken by one thing but has a lot of little things that take it over the top. Bolt Beak, Roost, Coil, paraspam, a pretty bulky stat spread... I'd probably nerf the attack on this one.

Ability Description: Sound moves have x1.2 power
Notable Moves:
Close Combat, U-Turn
Boomburst, Focus Blast, Vacuum Wave, Shadow Ball, Ice Beam, Flamethrower
Nasty Plot, Stealth Rock
Intended Role: Specs/Scarf User, Special Setup Sweeper, Special Wallbreaker
Role Justification: High BP stab move woooo. Offenses are ok, but nothing a choice item can't fix. However, it wouldn't have a good time against bulky ghosts.
168bp no downside STAB moment. What really pushes it over the top compared to Exploud is the actual speed tier and strong secondary typing.

Preventing switching moves is pretty stretchy as neither ability has anything to do with them, and trapping Ghosts on a Dark sounds pretty obnoxious. Ability needs a complete overhaul.

New Ability: Swamp Veil = (Sand Veil + Water Absorb)
Ability Description: Combined effect of both the abilities.
Notable Moves:
Earthquake, Knock Off, Rapid Spin
Scald, Earth Power
Haze, Toxic, Roost, Stealth Rock, Spikes
Intended Role: defensemon + hazard control
Role Justification: it uses the stuff it has.
This one's just a bit too optimized, Sandslash is already strong in lower tiers and this combines all of its utility with recovery, higher bulk, and a top tier typing. Trimming the stats a little is probably the play here.

Please fix these subs within 24 hours or they'll be vetoed and unable to be voted on.

Can you do this for every slate or is this just a one-time thing?

And that's it for now! Please discuss what the power level is shaping up to be and how the winners all would play like. We will do a slightly longer discussion Phase than usual, both because this is a very important slate to discuss as it sets up the entire metagame but also so we have time to set up the spreadsheet for the mod's winners.

Quick rates since I'm sleepy
Appledam-great early game Mon. Has effectively two weaknesses with it's ability, reliable recovery and stealth rock, and apple acid makes it a little bit less passive. Can see it being upper tier for a while.
Regidurr-i can see av sets with elemental punches + drain punch being decent. Could even run band if it wanted too. Overall a good physical breaker early on.
Duskona-early rapid spinner with a way to hit ghost in the form of Stab poltergeist. Also gets u turn and can hit dark types with superpower. Can choose to run an av set or band.
Fraxblade-doesnt seem to good. Typing is great but seems to be reliant on eviolite for it's bulk as an nfe fusion. It's strongest dragon stab gives igglycian-c a free switch. I can see it hitting decently hard with gyro ball. Overall, this pokemon doesn't seem like it will last very long early meta stage wise.

Igglycian-c -specs sets and swords dance sets will be pretty good early one as this pokemon gets good coverage to hit the things that resist moonblast such as, fire blast/focus blast/close conbat for steel types and psychic/psychic fabgs for poison types.
